1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: September 03, 2018, 01:09:02 AM
I stopped using power play tables since 18+ drivers. overdriventool is enough to achieve full hashrate at 165W with vega 64 and modified vega 56.
clock: set to 1600, voltage set to 850mV
mem: set to 1100, voltage set to 860mV
real clock is 1400 to 1500 depending of the card ; real voltage: 885 mV; shown in GPUZ.

4 cards rig is at 700W, system uses roughly 35W

Stopped using power play tables?

Do the 18+ drivers allow you to change voltage on lower P states? As far as i know i've been using the power play tables and overdriventool to keep the power consumption down. Not needing the power play tables is new to me.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin ETF Announcement August 10 - How will it affect Bitcoin? on: July 12, 2018, 10:53:05 AM
There will be an announcement by the SEC around August 10 regarding a Bitcoin ETF proposed by VanEck SolidX. Any thoughts on the price movement?

Who the hell is VanEck SolidX and why does that name sound so unprofessional? Makes me feel worried about bitcoin...

Nevertheless, an acceptance of the bitcoin ETF by the SEC could be phenomenally bullish news that could finally tip the scales and send bitcoin to new all time highs beyond $20k USD. The sad thing is, it will not likely happen until we have FUD and scams throughout the cryptocurrency ecosystem. We will get there one day though, we just need to hold and be patient.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally I am Victim Now! Myetherwallet got Hacked on: July 12, 2018, 02:20:37 AM
I don't know how I Explain my feelings. I Just lost all of my savings money. I was holding since January, I have been Holding to make again a good amount of Money. But at the end, my holding's output is, I lost everything because of my ETH wallet got hack! Almost 5K USD Stolen. All of my hard working money. I Don't know how can hacker hacked my wallet. Because I Kept very secure my private key, My friends are telling that hacker hacked my wallet by my email address. But how can someone hack only by an email address?

I Got a security alert from Google that someone has your password after then I changed my password immediately. Then after some time, I was checking my wallet to check new Coin. And then I Shocked! I Just want to give up, can't think what should I do  Cry

This probably happened because you registered an account at a unsecure website with the same password as your email account. What these scammers do is test the password you register on their website against the email account you registered.

This happened to me before and this is why i always have different passwords for secure-looking and unsecure-looking websites. Also 2FA is always a good idea.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of the current market? on: July 11, 2018, 02:07:30 AM
The token I hold is now green. Should I sell it now or wait for it to go up? I'm so obsessed with who can help me with an idea. I'll be very grateful.

The trick is to not get too obsessed. You bought the coin you are holding for a good reason and that same reason should strengthen your resolve to hold it until you reach your target value. Do not cave-in and give in to emotions (these are your #1 enemy when it comes to trading crypto or traditional stocks!).
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is dead on: July 11, 2018, 02:05:31 AM
I agree, Cardano is pretty darn cool.  However, I don't think ETH is gonna sit idly by and let Cardano take center stage.  Too many coins, ICOs, and DApps rely on ETH to allow it to fail.  Just my opinion, and it's worth all that you paid for it.

Exactly. Too many "good" dApps currently rely on Ethereum, and this is the only reason why it's not gonna be easy to beat Ethereum in terms of popularity and market-cap.

Current major issue of Ethereum: https://www.coindesk.com/vitalik-ethereum-app-builders-screwed-scaling-limits/

I beg to disagree. While I recognize that scaling limits are currently an issue with the Ethereum blockchain, solutions are already being developed. Sharding and other protocols have are already in the works and can be seen on their github page.

What do you think will then happen when ETH finishes these?  Wink
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Between EOS and NEO on: July 10, 2018, 03:03:01 AM
I keep wondering what could be any body's conclusion on this two coins? NEO brings to the table a new consensus algorithm called Delegated Byzantine fank tolerance. Which is better?

I'd pick NEO every day if only for the simple fact that they don't seem to be money-grubbing scammers.

The EOS team has collected $4 BILLION worth of funding but their launch has been nothing but plagued with issues and problems. There is no real reason why they needed the $4 billion and they have no concrete plans on why and how they plan to use it.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SLeepless nights doing bounty campaign is it worth it? on: July 10, 2018, 03:01:02 AM
I know that there are other members here working day and night doing bounty campaigns. But i think that doing bounty campaigns is not worth it especially if you had a lot of work during the day. Some are just boasting on their bounty campaign earning wherein fact maybe because they are lucky to receive those awards but somehow do not wish that you could be like them because some of the ICO project that you will going to work will not give bounty rewards and some of it will fail, or just pause. So no reason for sleeping late at night.

It's most likely not worth it.

Nowadays, most bounties are just out there to scam people with the promise of huge payouts when in reality less than 10% of these bounties actually pay. The sad part is that when they actually do pay, it is most often less than the advertised amount which was pegged on an unrealistic ICO value.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETN is back to ASIC :) ATTN: Antminer X3 owners :) on: July 10, 2018, 12:58:59 AM
They fucked up from the start, with the ICO, with the Mobile miner, after that with the fork.
A well, at least they deliver a lot of fun on Twitter and other channels.
Maybe time for another White Paper, this 1 has 1 thing that hasn't changed, and that's the name of the coin, all the rest is gone.

Just goes to show how much of a shitcoin Electroneum really is.

They can't even make good enough decisions to actually stick with them. Why didn't they think of this before they switched to Cryptonight V7 (albeit they were already late and the last to do it)? Electroneum is no better than the shitcoins that are run by college kids.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Go short Bitcoin and you will be crucified! on: July 09, 2018, 02:06:56 AM
A Big long pump is incoming to end this BS for once and for all: Opinion and thank you if you are a bull. I want the bears head on a stick. Long live the Spartans!

If you are a Bear you have had fair warning: you are  playing with something you do not understand!

You are really weird. Just last week you were spreading FUD about bitcoin and it's demise now this week you are shilling it like theres no tomorrow. I'm wondering what made you change your mind? Nevertheless at least now i agree with you. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are on the way up!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the time for a comeback for crypto? on: July 09, 2018, 02:05:16 AM
We've seen coins goes down, and up in the market,
but since the last two days crypto stabilized,
are we going to see the coins upward or this is just a big trap for us
while rich names gathers all the good coins and left us with shitcoins in the market
what are your calls for this one i hope we share knowledges for everyone

Most definitely so, this is time for the bulls to return.

I'm calling BTC will soar and rise above $10,000 within July, then following this altcoins will surely follow upwards. My altcoin bets are on Ethereum, Monero, and the NEM/XEM blockchain. It's time that holders be rewarded. Historically the 2nd semester of the year is always much more profitable.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Immediate 5x appreciation. Anyone in? on: July 09, 2018, 01:59:35 AM
Hi there;

I have a token that trades at ~50 cents. 0.00000991 BTC. I am selling 10,000 AGA Tokens for $1,000. You can sell 2,000 of them IMMEDIATELY, get your $1,000 back and still have 8,000 tokens to speculate with. (There are only 2,000 AGA Token open buy orders, you can place a sell order for all 10,000.) Is this place so full of fraud that no one believes anyone anymore? PM me your WAVES Platform address and I will send you 9 AGA Tokens ~$5 if you want to try before buy.

Tomasz

I don't understand why people scam people when you can do honest work and still turn a profit.

This, like many other threads like this, is a SCAM. The poster could already sell the coins at a profit for himself but instead wants you to get rich instead of him? Think about it, opportunities like this don't make sense, because they are scams.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best Masternodes on: July 08, 2018, 05:55:18 AM
I'm looking for information about best masternodes which are working from over few months and are not scam coins.

Please leave information about masternodes which you are using, with few details about it or link to coin from masternodes.online.

Thank you!

Is this an a shill/ad for masternodes.online?

In any case, I would suggest that you look into non-scam masternode coins like OPCX or COLX. They are still low value meaning that they have more potential to greatly increase in value. Just make sure you cash out before they get dumped.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people want ETH to over come BTC on: July 06, 2018, 02:53:17 AM
Why some people want the Ethereum to over come Bitcoin in the near future? Is it because they make profit from ETH or what?

It's not necessarily that people want Ethereum to overtake Bitcoin. By looking at the technology Ethereum provides, it simply just has more features than bitcoin. Don't get me wrong i love bitcoin most, but the technology that Ethereum offers is so revolutionary that it is unlike any other (at least until every other coin out there copied it).
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XVG] Verge - Speculation & Discussion on: July 05, 2018, 06:00:29 AM
This will be a discussion thread about Verge Currency. [1]

Verge is awesome. They are dealing with real world solutions by partnering with real world institutions. I don't understand how this coin can be valued so low when there are lots of other projects out there that are much worse without any real product or value. By it's current partnerships alone, Verge should be worth than all those scammy shitcoin projects.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto can built my future? on: July 05, 2018, 05:57:59 AM
I want involve this sector fulltime. But is their any ensurity of better future?

No. There is no such thing as financial security when it comes to crypto. This is because the entire cryptocurrency market is still very volatile. Prices today can drop or double within a day. If you want to get in this full-time, make sure you have a good business plan to make sure you are properly hedged at all times.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.2 on: July 04, 2018, 03:36:55 PM
I installed on windows 10 pro system, ran the app, and it worked fine.
Then decided to run the start.bat file, well now....

When I run the application, it launches the dos window blank., and then closes.
So I deleted the folder, and unzipped again. when I launch the app, the same thing happens.

I made sure that windows defender excluded the folder..

Any ideas.?

You may have to unquarantine the files that windows defender saw. Another theory could be that you haven't configured your config file yet. One time i got stuck trying to look for the problem
until i realized i haven't added any GPU configurations to the batch file.

Anyway thank you doc for another wonderful update!
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will EOS hit $100 in this Year? on: July 04, 2018, 03:20:09 PM
EOS in one of the top potential coin in 2018.

I hope EOS will hit $100 in this year.

What do you thinking?

Hell no, EOS in my opinion is the biggest scam ICO out there which was originally designed to bring profit to it's development team. Even now they have so many issues going on and that is even despite gaining $4 billion dollars in funding.

I would stay away from EOS as much as possible.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Bitcoin pump before 3K on: July 03, 2018, 01:43:32 AM
BTC will pump when no one will wait for this) IMHO they won't give a chance to people to buy on 3000 usd level)

If it went to 3K I believe it would go on a FAST bull run up after that!
The only demand for Bitcoin is bots that manipulate price for profit. There is no retail demand!

You are either a sad mistaken man or a paid shill to discredit bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

There is retail demand. Businesses who have adopted bitcoin as a payment method have report increases in revenue. There is NO report of any retail outlet that has started accepting bitcoin and resulted in decreased sales. Cryptocurrencies are the future little man.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash community not bothered by Asic resistance on: July 03, 2018, 01:40:23 AM
If your network relies on dedicated ASICs, you're not as prone to this sort of attacks -- assuming you're the largest coin relying on these ASICs.

If your network is ASIC resistant in the first place, you would not need to be worried about being prone to ASICs that have huge hash rates. Building a truly ASIC resistant blockchain has its merits because GPUs are more decentralized and easily accessible for regular people.

ASICs are machines driven by greed and deceit.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price Explosion on: July 02, 2018, 01:31:02 AM
Like most of the existing votes on the poll, I vote for Ethereum.

I believe Ethereum will explode this year simply because they have the best combination of technology and mass adoption rates. They address a real world problem and have a real world solution. Ethereum as a platform for decentralized applications has great potential and will eventually be used around the globe.
