1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: October 21, 2021, 04:10:33 PM
Though BSC has a strong network with so many use cases and massive backing from Binance, I still think ETH stands above BSC as a better investment right now and future. Don't know, just Binance can be quite shady sometimes because their business tries to jump on everything new and trending on the market which can cause a backlash.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you believe in market analysis published by crypto news websites? on: October 21, 2021, 02:00:27 PM
If I have really plenty of free time, maybe I would read their 'market analysis'. But no, I don't think their analysis carries any merit. If I want to stay updated on some coins, I follow their official social media. Don't want to take any chance by getting news fed to me at second hand by those crypto news or so called analysis.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: October 21, 2021, 01:04:37 PM
Seeing as many people are still trying to talk about it, these coin memes don't come out much and give us a good profit.

So even if it does give good returns to some but not all, I see many people still losing money with it, so the question for this topic is which is riskier to invest to see the stupidity of many people.
People here only talking about memecoins because it can bring us profit. We don't actually buy the ideal a memecoin can stay on top or keep its price stable for long. Yes, those did believe that is very stupid but hey, I'm not complaining if they're the ones that losing and not me.
Anyways, Shiba is a better investment compared to Dogecoin, for now.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Investment Suggestion on: October 21, 2021, 12:55:42 PM
For long-term investments, I recommend that bitcoin or ethereum are the best choices because seeing the market prices of these two digital currencies in recent years have experienced significant market price changes, and if you are afraid of losing a lot of your money then I suggest you invest in only gold because it is very certain to get a profit in the future.
I think BTC and ETH are already too expensive, and the more expensive they are, the higher the transaction fees will be. It is better to look at the potential for coins that are cheaper, and good for the long term such as BNB, LUNA, SOL, or other coins that have good fundamentals.
Well since it was a long term investment, BTC and ETH even though have very expensive transaction fees and cost to invest, still stand above of the rest cryptocurrencies. You looking for something to hold for the long term, not something for daily trade or use, remember?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is the long-term investment in Altcoins? on: October 20, 2021, 06:28:33 PM
Some altcoins can be held for the long term but the majority of altcoins should only be treated as short term though. I don't know since people have seen many altcoins being so high compare to themselves a few years ago and must think we have to hold altcoins as a long-term investment but not many altcoins able to hit that big.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: October 20, 2021, 06:11:31 PM
How I wished I saw this thread back in the days. Axie Infinity has grown tremendously over the years and especially this year 2021. The AXS token has risen sharply and early investors who still hold their bags are smiling to the bank.
No point crying over spilled milk. AXE still have a lot of room and potential to grow more so you can still invest in AXE right now. There are many news and update in this thread shows that.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: October 20, 2021, 03:35:48 PM

A lot of depends how useful is the coin and what services it provides. For example, now many people take care of their personal data. Here is written how it is important to protect personal data to all users https://blog.inery.io/index.php/2021/09/28/introduction-to-inerydb/

It is necessary to check all the information, especially what have already been done and how experience is the team of the project. Also important to check development of the project.

It is more simple to develop a project when market raise and many people pays attention to cryptocurrency because it is very popular and a morden trend. But in such conditions it is necessary to check all the information about the project and its team.
True as many new projects have massive gains in a short amount of time (AXE, Sol,...). Tho many projects will be hard to able catch people's attention since they don't follow the trend as they already established a long time ago and will less likely to recover.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations for crypto currencies on: October 20, 2021, 03:30:58 PM
I think we might have a temporary setback as more countries start implementing regulations for cryptocurrency since there will be rules to follow, investors have to pay tax, privacy coins are banned,... But after that, cryptocurrency will come more stronger than it was.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a right time to buy some ethereum?. on: October 19, 2021, 08:07:05 PM
Ethereum looks very Bullish now and likely to hit 4K in few days if Bitcoin remains Bullish. Once Ethereum's major upgrade occurs sometime in late 2021 or early 2022, one simulation estimates that the circulating supply of Ethereum could shrink by around 1.4% each year at current rates of fee burning. Is this the right time to collect eth and wait till upgrade happen?.

I don't think so, with all of the problems in the background and the continuous user/Dapp's developer's exodus, I believe Ethereum has become riskier of dumping, more than before due to many whales that control it now. the monstrous fees on Ethereum Network are the living testament that Ethereum will no longer be the Blockchain of the masses. All of those so-called upgrades are useless. if the masses can't use it because the fees are so expensive. and that's my opinion about it.
Well, many still bought up ETH (when it dip) and placed their bet on ETH 2.0 and the promise of solving all the problems you are talking about on ETH 2.0. So it was really how much trust and hope investors have for ETH to justify buying it. I think your opinion is valid as anyone since there, just 'promise' or betting on something incoming like ETH 2.0 is still risky.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does matic (polygon) worth to invest? on: October 19, 2021, 07:38:06 PM
I think it is still worth investment although the hype for it has been going down a lot recently. Still, crypto like Matic is hard to fail or stay forever at a low price since it was a smart contract, always a popular trend in the crypto market. Matic emphasis on the decentralized too so that's a good combo for the long run.

12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Too Many Altcoins! on: July 30, 2020, 06:54:21 PM
Every founder of altcoin creating their token because of money. If they were able to create a good altcoin with features that we need that none other altcoins have then they will become a success. Other new altcoins, if they only have the money as the goal in their mind then they aren't going far. The market will readjust and those will become trash coins.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is gambling another good use case for coin to have more demand? on: May 27, 2020, 03:07:02 PM
I think there is definitely a link between users from gambling and betting sites with users from bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. It's always easier to convince a bettor to take his reward in bitcoin or crypto payment instead of fiat to paypal or bank. The general idea of investing in cryptocurrencies already has some risk. The riskier, the better profit so it's the same as gambling and easy to fly with bettors. Of course, the traditional casino with their chips already function some sort of similar. They dislike anyone eating their cake but if gambling and betting sites find a way to cooperate with those guys, gambling or betting cryptocurrencies would switch and incorporate crypto to daily life very soon.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help! Sent BCH to a BTC Address! on: May 21, 2020, 08:14:06 AM
Import your BTC private key into Exodus wallet and then sweep for BCH.

This will automatically extract your BCH from the BTC chain and return it to another account.

Several other wallets offer a similar feature.

I don't think this will work. There are many discussions about his situation around the web, in cryptocurrency related forums such as reddit, medium, stackexchange, and so on.

His BCHs are not in BTC chain. His transaction is non-standard in BCH's blockchain and is not recognized by the other nodes (who will refuse to propagate it), as it is not part of the consensus rules of that blockchain.

He basically sent his money to nowhere, and he must pay a miner to go there and get it.\

II. Spending BCH from segwit addresses
---snip--
A miner must agree to mine the transaction. This is because the BCH transactions required to spend from a segwit address are “nonstandard transactions,” which means they are valid transactions but will not propagate across the network, because network nodes refuse to relay nonstandard transactions.
Yeah, his best bet to recover his lost assets is finding a miner that willing to mine his special transaction (for a fee). Don't waste time with other things.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Electroneum TOPS +450% ROI in last 30 DAYS! on: May 17, 2020, 10:21:10 AM
People have been holding etn for over 2 years now and it has just reached the ico price so no real need to rejoice, the fact is that it was dumped hard, i had few etn from ico but sold when i saw that the project was over hyped and price almost came back from highs to ico price, if they had delievered i am sure etn would have been a top project by now.
Yeah, only come back after 2 years isn't impressive at all. Worst, I doubt they could climb a new high and most likely will fall back after this.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not follow every market wave on: May 15, 2020, 01:54:54 PM
Similar to a battle, if you have a chance to chose then only chose the one you are more likely to win. Being jump in every market wave has a lot of cons, you will burn out and easily make a mistake. And not every market wave could be a profit if don't have an equivalent in term of fund, skill,...
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥 [ANN] HiveNet – The Next Generation of Cloud Computing 🔥🔥 on: May 13, 2020, 11:43:15 AM

So can we assume the reality that this project movement is slowly? I also see that their token just generated few weeks ago, so I guess the goal and all they have to do now is get listed in a good exchange. Although they focused on the development but without prices on their tokens people will still complain.

The main focus and highest priority of every serious and legitimate project must be the development of a great product.
So far we are well on track with our development as outlined and published in our roadmap.

All information about our upcoming public sale of HiveNet Tokens will be announced soon.
I agree with the team here. What kind of price would you expect if the coin still in its very early in development? Forget about exchange for right now.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin HEX [by Richard Heart] unofficial on: May 05, 2020, 12:49:26 PM

It is definitely going viral and the price action is showing it.  Cool
The recent price increase of HEX is being pumped and the trading volume at this coin is increasing very fast in just a short time. I think you should be more careful because of the risk that can happen at any time and surely after the bull phase, this coin will soon die and be forgotten. Of course, this is just my personal opinion and everything still depends on how this project develops.
I'm standing with your point. Honestly, the price pump takes all of us by surprise and I hadn't yet seen a good reason why HEX able to pump that far. Which in my personal opinion, looks like an artificial pump and till I see something special or unique about HEX, those pumps will meet a correction soon.
