Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think the altcoin bull run will begin in 2024?
|
on: January 22, 2024, 02:24:20 AM

I'm obviously somebody who believes trading in altcoins is the right way to maximize profits. Now that we're getting close to a new Bitcoin bull cycle, I just wanted to know how soon do you think altcoins will take flight? Are you following the Altcoin Season Index?
As you can see the Bitcoin dominance, is still high for me, 46%. I expect an altcoin bull run if Bitcoin dominance falls into the 30% level. Just take a look at what happened in 2018, when we saw an extreme altcoin bull run. I am still expecting that will happen but make sure we must be careful because if Bitcoin dominance will pump, expect most of altcoins will not follow Bitcoin.

Whether we like it or not, these moves are imminent and whatever is the reason for transfers, treat these are basic transfers from these big companies. And if they're going to dump those Bitcoins, you'll get to see the effect of it on the market right away. But if you don't think that there's nothing to worry about, then give me high five as that's a normal scenario on this market with some random huge transfers usually comes. The market will move on its own regardless of how and low transfers will be said.
Exactly, this is also what I am thinking because if they are dumping for sure most people will not see it coming or notice it. Me, from what I can see, everything is fine, I can't say that institutions are dumping because we are still sitting above $40,000.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF Hype and Leverage
|
on: January 21, 2024, 02:14:30 AM
|
Hey fellow crypto enthusiasts, I wanted to share a personal experience that I believe holds valuable lessons for all of us. Recently, I found myself drawn into the excitement surrounding a Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) and decided to explore the potential gains using leverage. Unfortunately, my journey ended with a loss of 2 BTC. (....)
This is a normal day in the cryptocurrency market. Where majority of people thought that it would mega pump because of ETF approval but it didn't because they already knew what would happen, so it's more likely what happened is "Buy the rumors, sell the news". That's why trading is extremely risky during this kind of situations.

What are your assessment about the performance of this exchanges, do you see any exchange making any stride to compete with Binance by the end of 2024? Do you think ORCA can also maintain its position in the DEX world?
For me, Binance will stay in top 1 especially if they maintain their company to stay away from any regulation issue especially the SEC USA, which recently Changpeng Zhao (CZ) stepped down as CEO of Binance. About the DEX, I am surprised with ORCA despite these layer-2 Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) deployed in multiple networks. As long as Solana is on top, ORCA will for sure be useful and able to continue maintain the trading volume.

This is a good sign in the first days of ETF, expect to continue this to increase event the price of Bitcoin is dumping, these people will not care at all.
It seems what happened with recent ETF approval is "Buy the rumors, sell the news". A lot of people expected that Bitcoin would do a massive pump on the approval but it's not. I believe our recent climb up to $40,000 is already the effect of ETF approval, then after that, some people started to dump and take profits.

Trading is something where you need to know analysis, money management, analysis risk, maintain loss, Control Your Emotions and so on. Well I believe its good to have your own stretegy rather than following others. But everyone has different mindset, so are for their trading Strategies. Can you share yours, so that other one could learn from you and can do improvement in himself? Thanks
Among the list is the perfect strategies. The most for me is risk management, why? Because capital preservation will make you stay in the market long time, as long as you have the capital to trade, you can make profits, so, it's really important to protect your capital all. Another thing is controlling emotions especially chasing losses or over confident on your trades that you are not using any stop loss and going all-in or high stake, it's not really good.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Instant Bitcoin

This is an aged discussion about the scalability of Bitcoin. For me it is possible as we already have a lot of new cryptocurrencies that are extremely fast transactions and cheap transaction fees. But most of the common issues from them is decentralization, which Bitcoin has. Some projects discussion and challenge are the decentralization, you manage to solve the scalability but the decentralization?

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain could change our future even in elections?

on: January 19, 2024, 12:01:52 AM

Could blockchain technology solve this problem definitively?
Would it be a good thing to apply this technology in elections and put people's future in the hands of blockchain?
Speaking of election. For me, if we use Blockchain, yes, there is an improvement or somehow solving the problem but not totally, because these corrupt governments will still find a way to cheat and manipulate, especially vote buying which here in our country, vote buying is really popular every election, and flying voters where you can vote multiple times by using other's identity.

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I become a professional trader?

on: January 18, 2024, 05:41:58 AM
|
(.....) Is there anyone here who is a professional trader, I want to help him that apart from the above mentioned things, what should I know as a professional trader, do you know of any platform or site from where I can take professional trader training ?
I believe to become a trader in cryptocurrency, it will always start with ourselves. If you want to save money, learn first by yourself. Because right now, in our world, most of the things you can already see on the internet, you can learn new skills, especially this cryptocurrency trading. Just build your educational foundation. Understand the basics - technical and fundamental analysis. Risk management also is a must.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise and Fall of ICOs: Lessons Learned
|
on: January 18, 2024, 05:38:37 AM

(....) Share your war stories, victories, and facepalms. What lessons did you learn from the ICO rollercoaster? Maybe your crystal ball predicted the next big thing, or perhaps you've got scars to prove otherwise. No shame, we've all been there!
For me, ICO is extremely dangerous and risky. Before, it was really easy to do ICO on any random projects, and a lot of people especially those new people in the market were getting scammed. Compared now, investors, even retail or new, are now careful and these projects are at the next level already because they are now competing with each other to bring the best especially if you are in IDO, IEO, launch pool, etc. There are already a lot of ways in token/coin offerings for investors that are more regulated and safer.

FTT is OVER. Just take an example for a lot of projects before that turned into scams or went bankrupt, etc. FTT is one of them. Where you can see how many lives were destroyed by FTX Exchange. It's already difficult to gain the trust of the people again, especially now that there are already a lot of better projects.

Yes, I agree with you. It is a life changer in gambling if you win a jackpot, and if the gambler or the person who wins a huge amount of money has discipline and is business-minded, then the first thing he will do is invest it in something or build a dream business of his own. (....) This is an inspiring story about where people use their gambling winnings. I saw some documentaries about people who won lotto jackpots and their lives after a few years, some people became broke even though they had already won the lotto jackpot. So compared to the story of OP, this person is different and knows how to use the winnings, which I can say he deserves the jackpot.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to buy Bitcoin is around the time of Bitcoin Halving: April 22, 2024
|
on: January 18, 2024, 05:14:52 AM
|
The best time to buy bitcoin is not actually prior to bullish or bearish trend, but definitely now wherein you have sufficient capital to invest and you have acquired adequate knowledge and understanding on the crypto market. Bitcoin is highly volatile, so no matter how you timing buying it, it will always fluctuate its price and still end up dumping or pumping high. Buy regardless of the price, using your capital that you are comfortable to lose. That way, you will never end up regretting whatever the outcome of your decision.
But most people are hoping and aiming to buy or buy Bitcoin at the perfect time. And this Bitcoin block halving for me is one of the best indicators, that you can start buying Bitcoin months before the Bitcoin block halving, not days before or weeks before. About the capital, that's already given, it's not a problem at the beginning, offcourse you need money before you can invest.

I'm researching for analyze real time market order positions contains in candles, Kindly suggest me some tools and indicators you use for same purpose as mine.
If you are just starting, I highly suggest using and learning the basic ones because they will be the core of indicators. For example, volume indicators, moving averages, and RSI. Then after that, familiarize yourself and know how it works so you will understand how these indicators work. Because most of indicators right now are based on other basic indicators.
