1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: August 31, 2020, 04:01:00 PM
My biggest regret is quite similar to many in this thread: Regret over miss opportunities of invest in some crypto when it was cheap. The coin in this case is Chainlink. I saw it very low and is shilled rampantly at /biz/ where I usually lurk. Still mad and hasn't got over it when looking at Chainlink price today.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much you earn in bounty hunting for the year 2019-2020 on: August 17, 2020, 04:00:03 PM
Because I was a member rank so most of my earning from bounty usually around only $100 per month on average. Highest paid I ever have in 2019-2020 is $300 for a single bounty that lasts for a month and a half. I see a huge reduction from bounty since this year so I guess must be because of the corona.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New exchange tokens worth investing on??? on: August 06, 2020, 06:27:58 PM
https://nominex.co/ = NMX Token
Never heard of this exchange, this is the first time I saw it. So I guess it is not so popular in this market. It is risky to invest in it. It is best to only select tokens from the largest exchanges in this market to invest
If you want to multiply, you need to take risks, you can also earn these tokens every day by trading on their platform.
Yes, take a risk but there should be some certain point that the risk is outweighed the benefit its could bring back. Don't invest in the exchange tokens from some low-tier exchange because that's too much risk. Stay at mid or high tier exchange at least.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree with the experts? on: August 02, 2020, 07:54:46 PM
After the corona pandemic end, everyone will back to normal include the crypto market. You don't need to be a crypto expert to thought about it. What those crypto experts should say to give them some credit is how and which altcoin we should invest before corona over.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment on: August 02, 2020, 07:46:33 PM
In my priority, if there is two projects, one have the escrow and one doesn't have it then, of course, I would go for the one have it in a heartbeat. I wish escrow would be a mandatory for every bounty campaign in bitcointalk.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency? on: August 01, 2020, 08:02:57 PM
My fear in crypto is somehow one day, my 3rd world government decides to ban it completely and make it harder for me to sell and buy it. Other than that, I know all the risks when you invest in crypto so I think I just have to be careful when investing.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Timing to Hodl tokens is very important. on: August 01, 2020, 02:46:08 PM
A good reason why I mixed both long term and short term hodl for my coin and token. To do this I have to keep track of the development's news to know if there any event oncoming and readjust my hodl plan. Just is the same as you said timing.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoronaCoin More drama, third exit scam and discord deleted on: August 01, 2020, 02:42:26 PM
This is why you don't invest in any project that has a trendy name to the current event without extensive research. Because there is a high chance they just want to catch your attention. Meaning they just want to scam you and making quick bucks, raise and repeat with exit scams.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: July 31, 2020, 09:40:42 PM
Yes, everyone knows you can make more money in crypto if you happen to have a skill in doing related crypto's job. But skill is not something every bounty and airdrop hutter has so they have to do with what they have: time.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Become Universal Money? on: July 30, 2020, 03:15:09 PM
It could be possible as long as that crypto has a lot of countries back up it. The term 'all country' it a bit hard to get since I'm betting there will some stubborn countries won't allow or ban it.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Projects on: July 30, 2020, 03:11:45 PM
A lot of people are predicting that the DeFi space will be the catalyst of the next bull run, projects like Maker and Compound have been hugely successful recently and many DeFi projects have performed brilliantly in the bear market.

Name the projects you're excited about in the DeFi space and why you think they will be big..

I'll start with an ICO I've recently invested in called Bidao. BiDao is a new blockchain system that creates a trustless stablecoin and a new decentralized financial tool that allows leveraged trading in a trustless setup. In the beginning, BiDao will be completely integrated with the Binance Blockchain and BNB will be used as the collateral. In the future other Blockchains will also be integrated into the BiDao ecosystem.

They are founded by Bastian Aigner who is young guy with a solid tech background and strong education. He reminds me a bit of Vitalik, some people are so smart it's like they are operating on a different level to everyone else and he is like that.
Look around you, it's already happening, DeFi is the reason why crypto is been bullish since few days ago now, through DeFi success big money have entered crypto market and that's the only way the market can reshape to greenish state
Yes, I also believe the recent bullish and rally was thanks to the market finally caught up with the hype surround of DeFi project. When I saw Kucoin and Binance exchange tweet about DeFi then it clearly set a new trend to the public.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS on: July 26, 2020, 10:32:41 AM
You could reduce the chance of being tricked to do all the bounty work for free cause the project team refuses to make a payment. First, don't join bounty management by the project team since they can do anything they want with your payment. Second, don't focus only on high bounty rewards and overlook the first or project's reputation.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: July 25, 2020, 06:29:03 PM
Those are just ratings and not accurate, CCID maybe get their data only is limited areas so that is why they have different ratings. Maybe they also have different standards and calculation, etc. Don't get bother with those ratings results we all know that bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency and no one could beat it. I really don't care about ratings they could be tampered and sometimes bias.
Not believing in crypto ratings anymore, before I keep update on checking ratings where to invest or to join bounties but they don't seem legit since some top were not able to reach their ICO goal or didn't have a structured plan in Executing their projects. We need to do our own research now, especially that rating chart is now a business, it seems easy to be listed in any websites for eating or do hire some community to boost their image or just ask if I rating site can feature them with a price.
It's like the same thing over and over again. First, new crypto ratings work as it intends, giving a good report but slowly, they develop their agenda and side business, their ratting ain't good anymore. Raise and repeat enough that now, people don't care about crypto ratings anymore.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be the best time to invest? on: July 25, 2020, 05:29:40 PM
I think you should get in one or two altcoins at this time since most altcoins already undervalue because of corona virus. The question should be "which coin has the best potential/comeback after all this corona thing over?" than just "should I invest in this time or not?".
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal are reportedly planning to bring crypto to it's users using Paxos. on: July 24, 2020, 08:28:39 PM
They saw the potential of Binance's implement their own credit/debit card with Binance token. This gives them, PayPal a lot of push to come forward their implement of cryptocurrency. Good news and good marketing from a giant like PayPal will help cryptocurrency as a whole becoming more acceptable for public.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in a wrong way on: July 19, 2020, 05:12:05 PM
For those newbie in cryptocurrency in all certain platform, if you want to invest your money first, you have to think and conduct a research regarding on why do you want to invest your money. For you to be able to gain a good profit and to avoid the losing of your capital. Hence, there are some people who have insufficient knowledge in trading, investment etc.
Something you can only learn by making mistakes. Even we're trying to say how important to do research before invest, even some veterans out there could make a mistake if they aren't careful, let alone newbies.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth going for me? on: July 19, 2020, 04:27:10 PM
Even if we tell you it wasn't worth it, will you listen to us? Nah, you are already made up your mind about it and I think that's fine too. Do your own research and if it failed, you know it was your fault. I don't want to say anything about PayAccept because I doubt we could change your mind about it.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you trade if you won't leave your coins on exchange on: July 18, 2020, 06:46:42 PM
To effectively have a good trade you still need a lot of funds and if you keep half or whatever ratio, you still don't max of your full potential. In the end, I think trying to find a good and trusted reputation is the only way.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers favorite tools on: July 18, 2020, 06:41:04 PM

While doing so, beware of self moderated threads as the starter of that topic can delete any hostile messages.
And the forum review might not be always sufficient to make a decision as there have been cases of hyped project in this forum and some even endorsed by popular forum figures turned out to be scam. Some prominent DT members and I guess a staff member too lost their position just for promoting fake ICOs knowingly. So, it's better to look at every aspects.
I think you shouldn't be on guard with self moderated. Most time, people just don't like off-topic or signature the only poster make their thread hard to keep track of conversations. Scammers don't have any viable tool in bitcointalk to push their thing and this is why I like to stay at here.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: July 17, 2020, 05:42:53 PM
Impatience is not a problem, undecide and going back and forth without any action could cost you a chance to make profits. New investors just lack of experience to know when you need to be slow and steady and when you need to be fast.
