1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No KYC Crypto Trading Platforms on: February 18, 2024, 09:23:14 AM
Lot of exchange sites tour themselves as No KYC for trading. You can deposit/withdraw freely but once you move a certain amount of volume through your account, they will flag it and require you to do KYC anyway. It was a classic case of bait and switch to target the 'No KYC' camp as well as a simple and reasonable mechanism to stop any possible money laundering on their site. And honestly, you can't really fault them for that. No one wants to tangle themself into some FBI's case of gift cards or credit cards laundering to crypto, exchange or not.

Now, a better way to circumvent KYC is just to buy an already verified account with someone else's info.

Most of the hype event right now feature by the Valve in dota 2 is the free arcana, battle pass and also dota plus guide to the players who actively playing in the TI which is just a requirement a minimum of 10 games in any game which is even the old users getting back to have their very first arcana in the game and currently in social medias it is all about post of the players in SEA pub that wear all their arcanas in the game.
Yeah, it's their giving back to their community which made them peaked at active players again to 900k since 2017.

Well, it's not just on the SEA pubs but it's for the entire community and game and that's why everyone is happy to get their free arcanas. What arcana have you taken? I haven't taken mine.

I'm thinking between with these choices, Lina, SF, Crystal Maiden, Ogre and PA. But, my choice is likely to get into CM.
It was a great initiative by Valve to encourage a new wave of players into Dota2 with TI. Shame that some try to take advantage of it with their selfish goal. Rev up their bot accounts to farm for the free arcanas just to sell and force a short closure on the arcana market. Hopefully, IEM Rio Major will have something similar to boost the popularity or the player count for the CSGO game too. Tho, CSGO is already way too popular to need any more boots but hey, I wouldn't turn down some special knives or gloves to commend for the Major. Grin
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Mining Will Be Banned Due to Fears of Climate Change? on: October 25, 2022, 10:59:10 AM
First of all, the Chinese government hopes to develop the REAL economy, and does not want the economy to be deviated from the real to the virtual. It is clear that the trading of cryptocurrencies and their tokens is a virtual economy.
E-banking works fine in China, the e-CNY (China's digital currency) is still undergoing trial and development for over one year, and other forms of virtual or internet stuffs that the government can supervise and control are accepted in China, but it has to be the mining of the virtual currency that they don't control that gets banned. China themselves never said anything along the lines of what you are saying when they banned BTC mining, they made mention of 'enviromental safety' and 'money laundering' issues, both of which are lies too.
China is actually smart. At least from their standpoint, why would they give away their monopoly on the control of their economy by allowing cryptocurrencies? Hello? We're talking about China's single-party system, full-on seeking to increase more authority here. From that point, any of their digital currency is not a real cryptocurrency as you said. lhrbeijing wants to believe those actions are for the people's own good but that's a bit naive. No, not China's CCP.

I expect any similar countries like China will pull the same thing. Talk about how it was to protect the environment and because of climate change but at the end of the line, to increase their control and slap down anything they consider a risk to their control of the economy. Especially in dictatorship countries.

5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We are group of long experinced traders try our Free signals on: October 25, 2022, 10:46:56 AM
No matter how bad it was, at least it was free and public, guys. I would rather have a free trader group like this so people can peek in a little bit and see for themself. Not the over-boasting and hiding everything behind a paywall. If they are up to your liking after seeing them, your choice after all. Like almost every place, making a wrong choice by following blindly at someone's financial advice is not recommended. Singal or not.

We are different and while everybody try to guess what the btc and crypto market will do its just better to follow our signals becouse we have our own capital of USDT to move our coin Desired Direction Even If btc is not moving at all.

This actually a bad advice and won't come from an experience trader. Asking people to follow your signals blindly! and wow you also claimed to have enough capital to impact the price of a certain coin, it doesn't add up, If you have that capital you won't be here offering such an amateur service and giving this kind of advice.

In general, relying on trading signals is a terrible idea and I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Instead of wasting your time or money, learn trading so you know what you're doing.
If anyone follows people blindly at something, then they're really helpless, not just for crypto alone. I doubt we have that kind of helpless people/traders here. Tho I agree, don't follow any signal group unless you really know nothing to do with your money and just want to gamble and try your luck.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think China will lose by banning Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2022, 10:36:33 AM
China wants to ban anything that remotely threatens its centralized authority. It's not really a surprise to see where and why they do all the above you said. They would lose nothing as the benefits of total authority government style stood higher than anything else. if more people knew that, they might start come to the acceptance point and not give a shit about China. All for the better, less time to waste on things has no end, I would say.

I do not know if Puppey will retire but he did not make any announcement yet. And the way team secret is doing right now, if they don't bag it this year, he may come back again next year.

He probably will still play if he lose this year but its going to be another story if he wins though. There is no reason anymore to prove yourself that you are already a two times TI winner so why push his luck further when he is not young anymore, its going to be an embarrassment for him if he continue after he win then fail to get to TI next year

been away from Esports for pretty long time now and have no idea what's going , do you guys know any good tipsters with verified tracked record to follow
would be great if they give analytics as well , just to get back in track  Cheesy

Yo mate, you are back at the great moment. We are currently having TI and Worlds together now ! I would love to have some tipster to follow as well though, been in shitty record since TI started

What do we bet on while waiting for TI and Worlds on breaks though?Anything good on csgo scene?
CSGO Major event is set in early November. It was held in Rio, Brazil so expect huge coverage from the Brazil scene as well as Latin American and NA. I would rather wait and save my fund for that Major event. For right now, we have TI Dota2 and World LoL ongoing in the near end with their soon-to-be Final match so all eye on it. The betting scene and analytics before the match are starting up. Best time for betting there at TI and World.

btw, an interesting chart. The average age of teams in the Rio Major. You can see a sharp difference between the old camp teams (NIP, Liquid, Vitality, Faze,...) vs the new upstart teams (Spirit, Sprout, 9z, IHC,...) The age difference also could be as much as 7 years old.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Eu gas and electricity prices drop 80% to 2021 level, another apocalypse averted on: October 25, 2022, 10:02:04 AM
Nice. Glad to see fossil fuel resources like natural gas and electricity prices fall down. Seem like OPECT+ has failed in its attempts to drive up the oil price too. Some of those fossil fuel cartels really think they can squeeze people out of money at whatever price they want to set. Heh, China is still in full lockdown, with 1.4 billion in population with no travel both domestic and international, low on purchasing power, and low on the manufacturing index. And they think they drove up the price? Oh, the gall of some greedy cunts, fossil fuel cartels.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: trustdice - scam, very bad site. on: October 25, 2022, 03:01:56 AM
is the trustdice saying that bonus should be used within 30 days and if used after 30 days, its a violation?

they did not say that before the bonus i guess which they also admit that it was set up incorrectly. anyway, its their right to determine whether zemlonq abused it or not. if OP loses all his deposited funds, there wouldn't be an issue. don't you think? assuming he really deposited some btc.

I made a deposit, but I can't show, because I can't enter the account

Any of the administrators of the Trustdice site will see the history of the deposit and the fact that it was from the deposit that money was won
Well, you can show us a transaction from your wallet deposit to Trustdice's address. With a signed message that you indeed own that wallet, of course. The rest can be filled out by checking if the received address in that transaction were from Trustdice or not. Again, even if you had made a deposit or not, the term 'deposit bonuses' is still there. I really want to believe you but it's very hard since both you and Trustdice provide little information. If it is between you, a brand new account and Trustdice with a long-running signature campaign in bitcointalk, you know how bad it's and most people would take sides with the well-known.

That's why when you want to accuse someone with a bigger front and reputation than you, you need to prepare all the information beforehand. Enough to show people you're mistreated or unfair action has been done to you. And pass the baton to Trustdice and force them to come out to address it.
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: trustdice - scam, very bad site. on: October 24, 2022, 10:48:29 AM
follow the bonus link
wagered a penny, made a deposit and raised the balance from the deposit 6 times the amount that I won from the bonus
in the end, I was simply banned, referring to the rules of the site.

scam casino, do not recommend to anyone.
If you were banned, I am very confident that you broke their rules. You can read in their Terms of Service and check activities that you self-think that you likely broke.

Most common violations that are not tolerated by casinos is cheating with multiple accounts, exploitation of their bonuses for example. I don't say you did it but assume you did it, you should know casinos have lot of data and information to detect suspicious activities especially multiple account cheating.

What you are doing is making a scam accusation against TrustDice, so you should move this topic to Scam accusations board.
I used to this flow of conversation about scam accusations against [insert a gambling website here] to know how it'll turn out. Once the gambling websites show data on their side of how they knew this user violated their rules, this newbie account going to fade like nothing ever happened. Yes, I don't want to assume he did those bad things, abuse bonuses on the house to gamble in multi times/multi acc until hit the jackpot. But too many times things turn out to be like that so full of doubt for him here.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Metaverse still a thing on: October 24, 2022, 10:29:40 AM
Facebook has wasted too much of its money on these Metaverse craps but it still going nowhere. Most users saw they receive no real benefit over normal Facebook when switching to this Metaverse universe. They knew only Facebook get something out of it: money from advertisers to put ads on the Metaverse place with a huge amount of users hanging around. Of course, Facebook wants to encourage people to use it, paying KOLs to use it and influencing their followers to increase the users count. But as always, your money can't just keep people turning in to use Metaverse when again, no real benefit for the normal users. Unless Facebook changes its approaching, tough luck, they're going to lose more money while their Metaverse craps will keep going nowhere, being a huge money pit.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 24, 2022, 10:09:52 AM
I'm still shocked with the result from the Liverpool game against Nottingham, how Nottingham Forest managed to hold Liverpool down to a clean sheet is still a wonder to me. This is the height of the poor performances for Liverpool this season I don't think it can get any worse than this. Klopp really needs to do some work to improve the team, even if it requires making big money signings it has to be done to revive the team's confidence.
Oh, you sweet summer child. Even if Klopp got a nod from the financial manager of the team, overall Liverpool 's performance won't improve much. Do you know why? Cause Klopp's strategy for Liverpool is full of holes. I don't want to repeat myself over something I already talked about before you might just repost. Not just me but there are plenty of people that did watch Liverpool's matches and saw this problem too. Klopp needs to be out for Liverpool to make a real change to the club. Else, they'll keep being a mediocre club that might have a tough time to even getting into the top 4 of the Premier League.

Liverpool is trash now. Everyone already saw it from miles ahead at the start of this Premier League season. Klopp's plan for both Liverpool's offensive and defensive lineup is falling. Oh, don't worry about Nunez or have too much hope on him. Maybe with him, Liverpool might get a few goals back with Klopp's plan for Nunez at center-forward, a double pivot and Elliot roaming on the right.

But with full-back overlapping with Robertson and Trent, especially Trent with his poor attitude and irresponsible play leave a full hole for the enemy to exploit. Unless Klopp uses a different strategy on this lineup or replaces Trent, tough luck, Liverpool going to get more slap on the face like the match with Fulham.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important are exchanges? on: October 24, 2022, 09:58:15 AM
~snip~
But we cannot deny that centralized exchanges have also brought their fair share of issues, one of the most obvious ones is that now many people prefer to keep their coins at exchanges so they can trade and invest as soon as there is a big news, but this compromises significantly their privacy and the true ownership of their coins, two aspects which are incredibly important and which are disregarded by a great deal of traders now.

About privacy it is the decision of each user. about centralized exchanges of course some of them require KYC completion to find out who their customers are, because this is also to tackle criminal acts such as money laundering and other things. If you want to use an exchange that does not include KYC, you can use a DEX exchange because it is a decentralized exchange that is directly linked to your wallet. Exchanges like Binance require KYC to withdraw a certain amount of assets, but security is guaranteed. But remember once again, not suitable for those who are very concerned about privacy more than anything else..
Agree. A lot of times, I saw people put CEX on the absolute shit list cause of the KYC requirement. But in the reality, unless you living off-grid, most of the time people give away their KYC like it was a normal thing without batting an eye. KYC help exchange to reduce bots and farming accounts for whatever purpose they want to do. You definitely don't want to use an exchange full of bots, CEX or not. Cause it'll be full of pump&dump, fake trading accounts. Not even talking about heavy stuff like money laundering, trying to scam in the p2p with exchange wallets,... Anyway, don't want KYC? Go to DEX exchange.

Someone has said on the first page of this thread. I feel at ease when using the p2p trade on the CEX exchanges compared to the p2p in the old days. The ease and security of CEX exchanges are well worth the downside of giving away your KYC. As long it was a trusted CEX exchange like Binance, your KYC data is encrypted.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 24, 2022, 08:24:05 AM
I think about the budgeting has something to do with it and likely Valve gave that bare minimum and PGL set it up the way they've handled the budget. But let's still give it the benefit of the doubt since there will still be one final blow next week for the semis and finals.

As for those dramas about that we've seen, I think one co-owner or part of Fnatic has officially filed a complaint against it because of the admission of some players that they can hear the casters words like what runes the players taken in-game and those stuff so, let's leave it there.

Budget is a great excuse to dodge their responsibility for the failure to anticipant the sound leak. Like come on, just put some staff in, play some Dota2 games with their headset, turn on the arena's sound system and roar to the mic to see if staff can still hear the sound. How hard can it be? Or are you telling me they know about potential problems arising but because of 'much budget' so no decent headset or some piece of glass to make a soundproof booth? Irresponsibility.

The result of the Astralis vs HEROIC matchup in the grand final wasn't surprising at all in my opinion.

HEROIC were already the absolute favourite above all else. Their odd was like 1.30 and 2.95 was the odd given to Astralis. I assume many people tried their luck with Astralis after seeing their incredible rise in BLAST Premier Fall Showdown. They were unexpectedly solid until reaching this stage. However I was much closer to HEROIC here as their performance wasn't alike to even Vitality's. They were eager to be the winner of the tournament as much as Astralis. And they showed it by a solid 2-0 victory (22-20 on Ancient, 16-10 on Nuke).

TeSeS was very impressive especially on Ancient with 40 kills.

This was the most impressive round of him which he got 4 kills (2 with Deagle and 2 with Galil): https://clips.twitch.tv/BlatantPlacidPassionfruitAMPEnergy-NijaNNj-CuI93gdQ?tt_content=url&tt_medium=clips_api
The game ended 2-0. Damn, what a letdown and I was hoping for an intense 2-1 with map 3 to see Danish's inferno strats. Astralis almost could drag it to 2-1 if they can end the map 1 ancient instead of going to OT and slowly losing momentum against Heroic. But on the days blameF become a bottom frag in ancient, although 4 other players from Astralis have already tried their best, it was not enough.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Limit order higher or lower than spread in opposite side? on: October 24, 2022, 07:57:40 AM
Yep, I clearly understand how to limit orders works in ideal case. My question was about unusual case which can be handled ambiguously..
What do you mean? Can you elaborate on the time you got the unusual case as you have said? Unless there is some glitch or bad connection on your end, you might see the old price and think the price hasn't hit @19100 yet. I traded and saw a fair share amount of time where my orders were behind the price I saw on the order list like that. Especially on exchanges with poor connection and server-side lagging. Or when the market is packed with traders trading left and right, things easily go haywire.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 23, 2022, 10:54:58 AM
Next week we will continue with the Champions League. For Napoli it must be wonderful to be able to play this way, they can play a home game against Rangers. That could well be a high competition. At Ajax - Liverpool there is still something on the program. I can remember that in the event of a draw it is the mutual result that counts, if Ajax beat Liverpool then we will have an exciting last match that is about something. In the group of AC Milan it is also far from decided who will advance to the next round. All title favorites are already through, the draw will only really show how things will develop in the eighth finals after the World Cup.
The chance for both of them is still there even if you look at the current condition of the Liverpool team, but seeing their performance in the EPL this season is still unstable, this can also be a comparison in my opinion.
Honestly, Liverpool's performance is difficult to predict, sometimes they play very well and sometimes vice versa which makes this one of the things that is quite difficult to predict from their performance.
In the Champions League actually at the beginning of the group draw I expected a lot from them but it was Napoli who stole the top spot and it was confirmed that they were still a bit stumped now.

The Ajax vs Liverpool match is predicted to be fierce, because Ajax wants to get full points. if the last two games Ajax won, and Liverpool lost in two games, it will be seen from the Head To Head of both teams. meaning, Ajax still has a chance to qualify and advance with Napoli in the group stage.

however, I don't think that scenario will happen. because after all Liverpool are more likely to qualify for the next round, even though their performance is still unstable.
and this is very hard for Alfried Schreuder, he must bring his troops to win their battle at home to host Liverpool later. they have to win this match, otherwise the chance to qualify for the next phase will be lost.

The top problem Liverpool are facing are the injuries they currently have I still lack the knowledge to know if they have Internal issues in the club within player and coach but they have not been the Liverpool we know who won the premier league and champions league.
Ajax won four goals yesterday and Liverpool also lost to Nothingham Forest, I am still sure of them not winning, and if they don't it will be difficult to win Napoli to send Ajax back to europa league.. Axax wins tommorow imo Liverpool can not use this squad to win on Wednesday never can it occur
Liverpool has been shit so far in their own League. They can't hold against their fellow teams in Premier League like Fulham (draw), Crytal Palace (draw), and Brighton (draw). They only got a fluke at the match with Man City and people think Liverpool was some tough team. Nope, their loss against Nottingham Forest shows their true color. Both Ajax and Napoli in the UEFA group stage can still beat Liverpool if they try. It's not like the level difference was like day and night. Hopefully, Ajax and Napoli can take a clue from Nottingham Fores and show their worth to Liverpool.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 23, 2022, 10:42:17 AM
This game was really dangerous for Real Madrid even though they dominated the second half completely. Because Sevilla were able to keep the score at 1-1 for a very long time. However Real Madrid still found a way to score the relieving goals for themselves. They came by a two-minute interval also. I liked Valverde's goal a lot by the way. He is in a really good shape these days and his shots are so fast that goalkeepers are having big trouble against them.

While I was doubtful about how good Valverde's wing play would be, he started to perform amazingly. We will see how much he can keep this up.
We know that Madrid always do things like this by playing All out in the last 10 or 15 minutes so there's actually nothing to worry about in my opinion, especially if you look at last season Madrid are the specialists of this kind of team by always scoring goals in the last minute. end of the game.

The result was predictable from the start and their performance was still very good so I don't think your concern is reasonable given the fact that Madrid are still very superior.
that's Real Madrid, they've always been like that since last season and it can't be separated from the chemistry of the players who are quite solid on the counter-attack, there's no doubt that Real Madrid is currently one of the best teams in the world and they can do things which is hard to predict.

This victory has made Real Madrid firmly at the top of the standings and until now Real Madrid's game is quite consistent. this is a positive thing for them to be able to defend the La Liga title.
Real Madrid got a real lucky in UEFA too when they were placed in a very easy group. With all the lower-tier teams like Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic. Heck, I could see Real Madrid having a high chance to push for both the La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League title this season. So unlucky for Barcelona. They were completely opposite, being placed in a tough group and now their progress at La Liga is rocky too.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Global recession alarm, safe money on: October 23, 2022, 10:25:30 AM
Perhaps most people didn't know it yet on how to secure their money when/during a global recession. Only few people have the knowledge of securing their money by investing lands and metals in the past but for now it's different since we have bitcoin already. But it's not for everyone when talking about investment about land and metals but thankfully we have bitcoin today and poor people have the chance to invest their safe money, although the problem may rise due to needs and wants.
It is easier for people to invest into gold because they know in their brain that it will always recover and it's a valuable thing and its scarce so it can't be printed like money. The moment they eventually realize that bitcoin is similar and people can't make money from it like fiat, and you could always trust it to get back, and if you could end up with a situation where you can even spend it, then they will realize how amazing it is.

So far too many people considered it as get rich quick type of investment and didn't trust the credibility of it, and if they could end up with something better in the long run like gold, they would invest a lot more into it.
Gold and Bitcoin would be the king of assets for people to keep their savings against this inflation. If you look back when the 2008 Mortage crisis, gold pulled a massive rally up to over $2,000 per ounce a few years after that when inflation was at its peak. Today, we also have Bitcoin so both can be alternatives for people to invest in. More basket is always welcome to lower your risks. Sure, FED tried to increase the interest rates to pull back the dollar rate, 'export inflation' to the world after their massive 'print money' in the covid pandemic a year ago. But this in the long term will harm other sectors of the economy of both US and the world.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 23, 2022, 10:12:51 AM
Astralis won the Vitality match. Honestly, I was surprised that they lost when vitality was so good. Zywoo did his best but they played badly as a team. Astralis won with better team play and made it to the finals.
In north america tournament evil geniuses played fluxo. The score was 1-1 and it went to the decider map. I think EG will win the decider and eliminate their opponent.
Astralis vs Heroic today and both teams are from Denmark. A Denmark or Copenhagen derby? Going to be an interesting match. As you said, Astralis upset the tide and beat Vitality. This was after they lost a spot to go to Rio Major so it was a nice result. At least, it shows they clearly intend to change from that low. Also, inferno was the best map for both Astralis and Heroic. It was like you weren't a Denmark team without at best at inferno. Odd is completely for Heroic win and I don't think that was fair. 1.4 for Heroic vs 2.9 to 3.4.
20  Other / Archival / Re: Q4 2022. What to expect from bitcoin? on: October 23, 2022, 09:35:32 AM
If wasn't because of the recession looming at large, I would've placed my bet on another bullish Q4 like almost every Q4 as before. But since this recession so no bullish for this Q4. If you're in the manufacturing sector, there was a grim situation. Most new orders are drying up, jobs are cut because of that. Seem like everyone in the US/EU tighten their wallet. The Consumer Price Index is increasing while Purchasing Power decreases indicating clearly the effect of inflation is kicking in.
What does this mean for Bitcoin and crypto overall? It means no more leisurely purchasing gifts and overspending on the Christmas and New Year's Eve seasons. Same for Bitcoin/cryptos, I expect strong sell orders took over the market instead of buying orders.
