No one claims any of the records? I think it is quite possible some of the privkey have been destroyed with intances.

This phenomenon is a one-off occurrence, could last another week. It likely would not happen again in the future.
Even when GPU miner is out?

should I try using more threads than 8? seems my 3770k won't go higher than 1700pps.. which is nice considering when we started i was originally getting 400.. I can't seem to get the 2 or 3k other people are showing from their 3770k's using the ivy only build.. on win7... tried to compile on ubunut though my vm but it seems I fail or are using the wrong distro
my 3770 only gives <1500, and I am not seeking to improve it.

Thanks No problem! Let me know your feedback when you get a chance. IOS is still in works and 84% done.. Will launch as soon as Apple is ready! Look forward to it. I only have iOS devices.

Hopefully not, because: 1) Primecoin looks to be GPU-resistant, it will be very hard to implement calculating it's long integers on something that is design to deal only with vertices 2) GPU rigs are the cancer for mining, eliminating 99% of regular people who are not OK with the idea of monster cases with external GPUs all over the place, laptop users with no external cards, etc. Non-existence of GPU miner is the main reason for Primecoin's unusual popularity. People are successfully mining even on Raspberry Pi's. I have few pi's... Yes, I'm thinking primecoin solves many of my complaints about bitcon... Fast block confirms, potential resistance to specialized hardware, and no coin limit. All I think are glaring flaws, but the last is the biggest. It's hard to reconcile the advantage of bitcoins fixed number of coins against the fact that they're still being rapidly issued. Now, if only primecoin could adopt a more marketable/catchy name... Why is coin limit a flaw? That's the one major advantage of Bitcoin. Controlled and finite supply of currency. Faster block confirms result in more forks, nothing more. Potential resistance to specialized hardware? I don't think so, I am sure we can use CUDA here. Edit: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/493679/prime-generator-for-cuda/8 317 200 Primes / sec If I understand correctly, nvidia cards may have advantage this time, compared to amd cards?

Let me know as soon as you guys find a block! I'd like to make sure it is actually working on the live chain...
Sollid 50% increase in pps with your patch, thanks! (Ubuntu, single core Xeon based VM). I'll let you know if I find a block, but I've been mining since release and only pulled an orphan, so far, so... Am I the only one experience a pps decrease? Dropped from ~4500 to ~3000... How many cores is that running btw? 16 cores, 32 threads.

You compiled it with the exact same switches and options ? exactly the same make CXXFLAGS="-O3 -march=native" -j16 -f makefile.unix Then PPS drops, I will switch back to primecoin/primecoin.git untill I figure out the problem.

Let's just say, you have no idea how critical time to market now is. I could wait a couple more months so to have a more 'perfect' thing for you, but then what's the impact to the overall competitive landscape? You can feel cozy in your conspiracy theory about me, whatever you like. But at least get the facts straight. The most improvement in the stock miner was from me yesterday actually. My post earlier was to warn the contributors of the danger messing with core protocol code without going through development process. Ask any competent crypto developer about whether what I said was true. I did not mean to diminish their enthusiasm to contribute and help, on the contrary I appreciate their participation.
I agree, the best miner code so far is from Sunny King. Thank you for the contribution, at least this coin is fun.

I am running 3x Gigabyte 7950 on a ThermalTake 850 Gold.
No powered risers.
I am building a 3x 7950 rig without risers, do you mind to provide some info about your motherboard?

Please report on which build you are experiencing intermittent synchronization problem.
I got two rig trying to run this build: https://github.com/Zalfrin/primecoin.gitOne is fine, the other stuck at block no.2. This about 5 hours ago. So I switch back to original git, which is perfect.

This nearly tripled my PPS from the original release. Now getting 2000-2400 PPS on an i7-980X @ 4 GHz. 7 blocks found so far (of which 1 was orphaned). Compiled with -O3 -march=native. Should the "-O3 -march=native" be in CFLAGS? Should I change make -f makefile.unix to make -f makefile.unix -CFLAGS="-O3 -march=native" ? Thanks,

in my "listtransactions", there is a block with only 1 confirmation and it does not shows up in the transactions tab. But it does show in immature number: { "account" : "", "address" : "AbFyLXbDfXj3smd9ZyrkJvdcqGjtWine7d", "category" : "immature", "amount" : 17.13000000, "confirmations" : 1, "generated" : true, "blockhash" : "c0ec2c1c6c15e9c34ffe3fd9ecb16fcbe6c980f897114d6b2ca03cb4d4334e9f", "blockindex" : 0, "blocktime" : 1373505530, "txid" : "473966f87e69d569ba9b1911903248255661f46a6b4b3d3ed15cfa9710831dbc", "time" : 1373505530, "timereceived" : 1373505532 }
Why is there only 1 confirmation? Because only one block has passed since it was generated. It does not increase at all. Confirmation stays at 1 forever... Kill it and restart it, I had that problem once. Should fix it. Thanks, kill and restarted. It turn out to be an orphan. Thanks anyway for the help.
