Well I've been watching this since the beginning and remember Node.js trying unsuccessfully to get Node to release their code to help on that project and I'm glad to see this moving forward. Considering Node was nothing more than a port of NXT to node.js I don't see it being tough to recreate.
A couple of things.
1) I can't remember the discussion on the naming of this project But Edoncoin sounds childish, has no descriptive factor of the functionality and will more thaqn likely end up in the trashheap with the other dumb ass named coins. Whether they had features that were viable or not. Before launch I would seriously reconsider the name. It's stupid but people are morons and jump on "kewl" names like cloak dark shadow circ and tons of other scams and failures that got huge support.
Thanks Hueristic for sharing your thoughts! I agree, the name doesn't get a lot of sense into it. The main motivation for the name EDON, was that in reverse it resembles its root. (try reading it backwards) EDON > NODE And i kinda liked it because it wasn't a priority back when we tried to assemble the team to work on it. Heck... i even wasn't sure we are going to pull this off... But i am open for new ideas. Then just name is EDON, not EDON coin. Any project ends with "coin" wont attract the big fat whale... sounds dumb, but true |

就是纯炒作 市场效应 现在的bitcoin已经背离了当初satoshi的去中心化思想，掌握在了几个大矿池所有者手里，抛开经济利益，他们可以随便摧毁比特币。
把算力集中以下，大众就恐慌抛售，发散一下价格又回来了，收割的都是普通玩家，这和传统银行又有什么区别了。越来越失望，已经没有了当初的热情。
更不用说各种山寨币和跑路的交易所了。各种人性的缺点集中体现在了比特币上。
我能看到的前途只有还没发布bitshares和ethereum了，或许结果也是一样，谁知道呢。
