what are the next steps in this project?
for weeks and months, there is no news and the volume on the exchanges is also very low, almost zero... Roll Eyes

There is no volume because they haven't released a product yet. I've spoken to some team members and I know they are working on it. Let's hope they can turn this around.

The development update shows things are a little slow going...

Over a year has gone by, app is still in early stages of development, and limited exchange listings. If you raise over twenty million through ICO you should be able to spend enough to be further progressed!

They didn't raise 20 million. They raised a little over 1 million after ICO, that's probably why they're rather slow.

Slow but they managed to reach the Softcap when they mentioned, really some time we are frustrated about the things the team is doing. Not only with DIW most of the companies are doing the same thing not giving a proper update to the community which makes us to negative about the project. Moreover, they listed the coin in very little volumes exchanges which the price of the coin is very low in the market.

Many of us often forget that we invested in projects which, in their majority, had not started development until after the end of their ICO and they need a good couple of years to have a working product. We got used to the quick bucks we made during the bull run and expect the same pay off because we don't realize we just got lucky back then.

Hi everyone

Any news about DIW project? I still waiting a new announcement. I have been waiting for 10 months.

From what they say over on their telegram group and the articles they share they are working on their own password manager. They seem to be waiting for a better timing to announce news which is not something I agree with 100% but I can't really blame them either...this market is a waiting game.

Decentralized 2018 Conference in Athens

Read the article below featured on Medium and all our social media:

I'm happy to see DIW active and attending conferences just like this one. Decentralized 2018 is one of the biggest events in the blockchain space and participating and even giving talks at a place like this is a good achievement. Keep up the good work.

Its been more than 3 weeks now Smiley Not a single update on the product, just coming out with work is in progress is not helping anyone.
DIW is dead and on IDEX there is 0 Vol. Not sure which other exchange it is listed on and having lost my ETH on this project I need to think about getting into ICO's.

People or members who are supporting this please get some data and facts before you respond " this is not scam" this is work in progress" the product is in under development" we believe DIW...

I recall that DIW and other members of this community have already mentioned that updates will come by the end of the year. I mean, isn't that clear enough to understand - it's clear as daylight - DIW is going to update us, announce and introduce (these are there words), project development status and mobile app. It's also stated clearly in their articles also, so I'm not sure why the constant doubt...  frankly speaking it's annoying to read the same negative comments!!
Ask yourself this, would a scam really bother messaging us back, post on their social media pages and create articles STILL? If you can't answer this question, then some of you do not know what a scam is and you are just creating negative vibes in this group. This type of negative behaviour should cease to exist in this community because the DIW team is putting great efforts into developing a product for US!  They said end of year so we must wait till the end of the year.

Now as regards exchanges, DIW is listed on IDEX and LATOKEN, it's written all over their Telegram group, Social media and Articles. Please do your due diligence before commenting.

To my fellow community and crypto friends,

I'm sure we all feel somewhat anxious, exhausted and perhaps disappointed with a few certain events that have happened during the last few months - and im not talking about DIW Token alone, im also talking about the entire market in general! I wanted to express myself because I, along side others in this community, have waited long for things to happen - not saying actions have not been taken and executed, but certain things have delayed and postponed DIW Tokens roadmap and caused what we might call a ripple in the pond. So I will stop beating around the bush and get to my point...

Questions have arose ever since DIW Tokens ICO ended and we hit the exchanges, questions like, Why is the token price so low? Perhaps you are one of those early investors (just like me) who spent many ETH to participate in this ICO and now you cannot see any profit...So why has this happened?

There are many aspects as to what drove the price to this position, and created this uncertainty and I believe you should spare some time to read the reasons and my analysis below.

1. Facts are facts, Bitcoin and Ethereum are the leading coins in the market, so it's as clear as daylight to know that when the market is bearish and the main coins like BTC and ETH go down, then everything will tumble down with them and hit rock bottom. This is the same for ALL coins especially for ICOs that are trying to come up into the crypto space and become part of the "larger pond" - the market.

2. Another point that has come to mind is, when the market is in the "bloody" state that it is now, then people tend to worry, panic and be weary of how to invest or trade. For example, panic sellers not many but a few have made bid orders below a certain degree which basically means that with the small volume of Ethereum that currently exists, then the outcome would be the low price that we all see now. Truth be said, this is not a realistic price because there is a small volume in trading.

3. A sub-question that has popped up as i was analyzing all the likely reasons to our current condition is, the DIW team has not fully delivered and executed some important things, in effect causing uncertainty and doubt within the community. One important issue is the Token Distribution! Many members of the community including myself, continuously mentioned that we did not want the bounty tokens distributed prior to hitting the exchanges. So when we actually hit the exchanges, there were no buyers and the reason being is that the bounty had not been distributed yet. Waiting for the bounty to be distributed and waiting for things to settle down before making any buy orders would of been the wiser choice.

4. Burning of Tokens! We expected that the team would burn the tokens after bounty distribution, and i believe that the price has been effected due to this too. The circulating supply has not been put down in writing or announced anywhere so this has created uncertainty, confusion and we the community need to see these numbers.

5. Something that is on my mind but noticeable by other members of the community is the 2 exchanges that we have been listed to. Latoken and IDex are not popular when it comes to ICOs, they have some volumes but they don't have high volumes so this has effected the attitude of members too. The fact that the DIW team collected under 2000ETH throughout the ICO has made it difficult for them to enter into a better exchange with higher volume but I for one has seen ICOs join smaller exchanges in the beginning and then join much larger exchanges later. So i believe that this has also played some role in the whole price.

So these are the reasons i feel have affected the price of DIW Token, and i hope everyone see this and takes note to what i mentioned because it was spoken with all honesty.

Finally i believe that after what was mentioned above, we need to consider these things and I for one will continue to support the team as i've been doing so far.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is crypto making the world go crazy? on: May 18, 2018, 02:21:45 PM
They go crazy because a lot of people have made a great deal of money just this past year so they want in on it. They see it as a fast way to make a huge profit and not as a long term investment.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: May 18, 2018, 10:03:26 AM
That really comes down to how strongly you believe in the project because if you are confident about its success, it's best to invest during ICO where you usually get some extra deals. For example, I got some DIWtokens during the 1st phase of their ICO and got a 32% extra tokens, I think they're still offering some bonus now. So the decision is very subjective and depends on your judgement on each individual ICO, there is no golden rule you can follow.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is still legit? on: May 18, 2018, 09:55:16 AM
If you are new at crypto, then its best to research for a few weeks, and get help from experienced members. As you become wiser in the cryptoworld then you will discern what is a good ICO and what is a scam.
But since we are talking about good ICOs id like to mention one ICO that i believe is a promising project, called DIW token. Its ICO is open for participation. You can learn more on their site https://diwtoken.com/  or join the telegram group and speak with the admins there for more information.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am so stressful with trading coins, I lost 13000$ on: May 17, 2018, 02:18:33 PM
If you feel that trading is not for you or it is causing you a lot of stress then you should consider long term investing in the top coins. You can't go wrong with that!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty rewards Sell Immediately? or HODL! on: May 17, 2018, 01:24:50 PM
Why would you want to sell when the price is low? The best choice is to allow a few months for the price to recover and rise further.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the Green Days back ? on: May 17, 2018, 01:20:26 PM
It's still fluctuating at the moment. I believe that we could possibly have a bull run towards the end of the year due to crowd psychology, everyone will expect to see a repetition of what happened last year so people will be more positive and willing to invest.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign on: May 17, 2018, 12:13:03 PM
What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?

I totally agree with you. If they're gonna ask for KYC they should at least state it clearly on their rules! This is sensitive personal data they are asking for.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you join airdrop? on: May 17, 2018, 11:50:13 AM
I don't really join airdrops anymore, in most cases it seems to be a waste of time.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: May 09, 2018, 11:22:16 AM
A hard wallet is the best choice for long term hold but if you're into day trading then you have to keep it in the exchange. As mentioned by others the exchange is not as safe (it can get hack or close down) as a wallet and not nearly as safe as a hardware wallet.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market does not look good! on: May 09, 2018, 09:47:57 AM
It's true that altcoins prices are still affected but the price of Bitcoin but I'm not worried as this is a normal market behavior and for someone investing long term this is not a issue.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: May 09, 2018, 09:27:16 AM
I'm not sure what will happen by the end of this year but I know that in the long run I see nothing but growth and that's what's most important to me.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Crypto end? on: May 08, 2018, 02:08:36 PM
There are new altcoins popping up everyday so mush so that we are losing count. I don't think the crypto market will ever end but maybe in the very distant future there might be some sort of switch from all the countless altcoins to one or 2 main cryptocurrencies.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: May 08, 2018, 02:01:08 PM
Even if I decide to sell, I usually only sell 50% so that I don't end up regretting it.
