101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saving. on: April 15, 2018, 04:36:28 AM
It is a good idea and strategy to just save and hold Bitcoin for the future. I also firmly believe that its value will continue to grow and increase over time so if your main purpose is to invest on it for a long time for its value to increase, be my guest, go ahead and hopefully when the time comes, you will be able to reap a great return out of it.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: April 15, 2018, 04:15:53 AM
I think some people who are not very friendly to bitcoin because they don't have the full understanding and knowledge about it, its purpose and what it can do to their lives. For those businesses, governments and banks, some of then are threatened about it because the very existence of it means a competitor, fewer clients, and there are transactions and businesses which they will not gain anything from.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to mine or buy Bitcoin? on: April 15, 2018, 03:57:54 AM
I prefer buying Bitcoins than mining. Mining requires a lot of cost, time and effort. You need to buy and build equipment, maintain it, it will cost you more plus, you wait longer, in the long run, the profit will not be as worth it. When you have the moeny, just buy the coin HOLD for a while then sell in a much higher price for a great profit, you have more control on your actions.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: April 15, 2018, 03:28:26 AM
I still think and believe that Bitcoin, its popularity and community is still rapidly growing up to this very day. Despite all the FUDs created by false news and black propaganda against it, people would still have the ability to see through those and see Bitcoin for how awesome and helpful it is for a lot of people.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saved my year on: April 15, 2018, 03:12:13 AM
That is good to hear that Bitcoin has helped a lot of people just like it did with me. When I joined late last year, it was hard, and at first I really didn't believe that I will be able to earn so much from it. It has helped me pay a big chuck of my debts while still being able to provide for our daily needs. It may not helped me pay all my debts in full but it sure made an extremely big portion of it get paid. As of this writing, I am almost there in clearing and paying all of my debts and start my life a new, my plan is to get a house of our own and then save and invest for our future, with Bitcoin as my partner, I know these plans will become reality soon
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: April 15, 2018, 02:19:05 AM
It is not that they fear cryptos I think they are threatened by its very existence, why? we all know that these digital currencies do not need banks, so it has a huge negative impact on their business. They are protecting their business, their clients and their purpose. You know if you  face something that cam make your purpose and existence not needed anymore, it is natural to feel threatened and be defensive about it. I think that's what banks are feeling right now.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people invest in bitcoin? on: April 11, 2018, 08:08:55 AM
People should invest in Bitcoin because of its great technology and algorithm, it is for the future. Also if you want something that is real, not perfect  but real good source of earning, something that is quick but not easy, risky but worth it, then you need to invest in Bitcoin. It is volatile, scary and risky but if you have patience and strategy the amount of money you will earn from it is really worth all those things. No guts no glory.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you love Bitcoin? on: April 11, 2018, 07:47:06 AM
I love Bitcoin because we can do a lot of things through it, we can use it as a currency, shop with it, use it as a mode of payment, you can also transfer or move it to anywhere in anytime in any amount. Most especially, you can use it to earn extra income, may it be just participating on campaigns and tasks on this forum, trading or investing. You can do all those in your own time in your own way. Isn't that just great? How can you not love something as great and awesome as this.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: April 11, 2018, 07:11:20 AM
For me Bitcoin is what you use it for, if you use it as a currency then it is a currency but if you use it as an asset for your investment then it is an asset. So it really depends on how the owner utilizes it. It can be any of it or both. Personally, I am using it for trading and investment so for me it is more of an asset, something that stores a great value.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: April 11, 2018, 06:55:16 AM
No need to worry to much about the future of Bitcoin, it has proven its sustainability over the years. For almost ten years, it has conquered all the issues and challenges that was thrown its way. Do not get me wrong, Bitcoin is not perfect nor the users of it, there were a lot of scam and fraud activities involving it but then again it doesn't change the fact that it has more good than harm, it has given a lot of people a chance to earn, have a closer step to financial freedom, so don't worry too much, Bitcoin is here to stay.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting tired of waiting on: April 09, 2018, 12:54:46 PM
Just be patient, I know it is scary but if you believe in Bitcoin, and have trust in it, you will patiently wait and hold on to your coins I know you will have a better chance of good profit.

113  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: April 07, 2018, 05:13:16 AM
Some good points in the article. But at this point, I still don't think that BTC can replace the $ soon (10-15 years). It will have to go through hoops of fire before that becomes a reality. Besides, I think a lot of BTC veterans wouldn't like that idea anyway. I mean one of BTC 's beauty lies in the fact that it's decentralized. Should it become a standard currency, even replacing the almighty $ at that, it will become regulated. Sad
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: April 07, 2018, 04:12:08 AM
Can't say I haven't tried buying. However, I do pick the right time to buy (right time here being relative). I usually check trends and see what's the lowest price point then base the current price against it. If the comparison yields a considerable margin, I at least try to buy one or two. I just keep myself in check when buying, I don't do that often.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Before I Die... on: April 07, 2018, 03:26:58 AM
The problem here is, we can't tell when we're gonna die. . .it's a fact. Since that's the case, I've started saving for my family's future a long time ago. In that way, should I die suddenly, I know I still leave them with enough to keep them going and have a future. Treasure every moment spent with them and live without any regrets.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as payment system on: April 07, 2018, 02:30:10 AM
I believe BTC's has come a long way in terms of its applications. Though now, it's most popular to investors considering its market value. True, it's on the downslide now but a lot of experienced investors predict that it won't be the case for long which I personally believe to be feasible. Now, will BTC be considered as a currency worthy of having a payment system (as you put it)? I say yes it can be and I believe some regions/establishments in the world have already adopted the idea though it will take some time for a lot of people to understand its worth.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: April 06, 2018, 10:28:36 AM
For me, I spend the money I earned in Bitcoin in providing for my family's needs, bills and utilities, food, groceries and other supplies, house and car plus we are planning to have a small business that will be another source of income for the family so we can save more for the future. We also do travel every once in a while, I am really grateful to have Bitcoin in my life.
118  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is so volatile right now! Why should I even hold? on: April 05, 2018, 02:22:29 PM
Bitcoin is very volatile in nature and that has been very obvious from the start. Personally that is also my main reason why I HOLD my coins, due to its volatility we have to be very strategic and smart about our actions to ensure that we will be able to get good returns. More often than not, we need to hold our coins for a little bit longer to be able to have good profits when we sell them.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: April 05, 2018, 02:05:33 PM
Personally, At first I was into using it due to its decentralized nature and the fact that it is easy to move, it is easy to transfer to anywhere in the world at anytime in any amount I want. I also felt that it is safe and secured due to its transparency. What is so awesome about Bitcoin is while I am using it, I discovered that there is more to it than my reasons for using it, so I started using it as a financial tool to earn, trade and invest as well. Of course if you already have an awesome technology in front of you, wouldn't you maximize all the things that you can do to get the best from it? Smiley
120  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people in the world know about bitcoin? on: April 05, 2018, 01:31:11 PM
Personally, I think Bitcoin is really known around the world by a lot of people through newspapers, television, news even social media and some government themselves. It is just that not all those who knew about it, believe on it. Another thing is they may know Bitcoin but then it could be not enough or not even true at all due to the false and bad news or black propaganda about Bitcoin.
