@MercSuey

Last days as I unlock wallet (windows binary), CPU usage goes to around 50% and client starts reacting very slowly. Few minutes later client is almost not responding and
walletlock command (as a way to stop PoS mining) I need to terminate process. Check it as you make an updated client...

Keep up good work guys.
The source was updated about 12 hours ago, I don't know what the issue is there, but if you download the source go to line 86 of src/wallet.cpp when you download it and you change line 86 from
Code:
bool fWalletUnlockMintOnly = false;

to
Code:
bool fWalletUnlockMintOnly = true;
your wallet will be locked for sending but it will be unlocked for minting only.

@mercsuey just a thought you could create and post a Windows Binary with that option.

I am creating PoW/PoS coin with actual changes, and additions, and not just a copy and paste clone, so I have been through the source.

OK, everything just updated. My workers aren't showing, but the blocks show an additional 10 or more, I'm sure my workers will show soon.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switch][1.5%fee] multipool.us:Always mine the most profitable coin on: September 26, 2013, 06:07:37 AM
Is it just me??? It seems that the stats... everywhere... are not updating. I first noticed when I added a few more workers and by the time I got to the 4th the first new one wasn't showing on /accountdetails.php then I went to stats.php?curr=cgb and noticed the blocks had not changed either... I am sure it is a mistake because it is rare for us to go an hour and a half without a CGB block. Then I noticed that NO CURRENCY has solved a block in over an hour and a half. I'm sure everything is probably still running and just not updating. You may be working on it, but just wanted to check.

I'm getting a warning on my qt client, it says checkpoint is too old, wait for blockchain to download or notify developers. My client is up to date with the blockchain, but the warning still comes up. Even after a restart

My clients don't show any warning.  PM me with any changes you may have done, if any.  I'll look into it.

I'm not getting the error either. There was a fork the other day and you may have got onto that forked chain, so you should stop, delete the following, then restart:

for WINDOWS delete:
%AppData/Roaming/CryptogenicBullion/blkindex.dat

for LINUX delete:
$HOME/.CryptogenicBullion/blkindex.dat

At what block does reward half again ?

145,001 is first reward at 1.25

Thank you!!

Less than 14,970 blocks till CGB reward drops from 2.5 to 1.25!!!
Those of you auto-selling right now, should think of that too!!! I'm holding everything, for now.

That is cool, I am always up for helping CGB. That is all that I mine now. I'm kind of wishing I hadn't sold most of them though, especially from the 10 coin blocks, now that the reward is about to drop to 1.25.
I was thinking about using one of my servers for a node, if needed, I can set it up real fast.

The cryptsy 2FA thing, I agree. It is just a hassle for me. I just keep a totally random password that makes it hard enough to brute force that you'd be better off mining and earning the coins than trying to steal. I would use Google Authentication because it is less of a hassle, than going into my email then back to cryptsy for a 3 letter 3 number code.

I stay logged in on this laptop, and sleep with it also... quick and easy. Smiley

Yeah I emailed flound1129 last night and got a reply, to make sure I got the peers deleted and restarted. I was thinking it was someone trying to introduce false blocks or a false blockchain though, because the orphans were 19 minutes before the accepted block with the same number would be accepted. That just seems way to far ahead of the chain. Plus it was accepting the correct one's just solving the orphans first, so it had to be someone else with the fork.

54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think SatoshiDice is blockchain spam? Drop their TX's - Solution inside on: September 03, 2013, 06:41:09 PM
I understand the issue at hand, but I believe this is the wrong solution. I have seen it from the side of being a Satoshi Dice user lately. I have had many transactions not accepted, and sent back, because I have been using the Blockchain.info Satoshi Dice send link, and even though I have my Blockchain.info wallet settings set on generous, they are still being rejected or taking forever. The problem is that the fees are too low for the size of the transactions being sent. I decided today, because I have one which isn't confirming, that I will start using the regular send link in the online wallet or sendtoaddress from bitcoind, and then set the fee higher rather than use the blockchain.info Satoshi Dice send link.

This is something that Blockchain.info needs to be informed of because I am sure they are the largest cause of this issue with that Auto Satoshi Dice send link because, as I have said about 80% of my bets have been getting rejected lately and that is with my settings on Generous Fee.
I also think that there should be a set BTC fee/kb sent minimum if there is not, where you  cannot even try to send a transaction with less than that amount of BTC fee for the size of transaction that you are sending. Obviously you can send more if you want to reward the miners, but there needs to be a minimum fee/kb especially with the BlockChain.info wallets. They have one set but it needs to be raised because it is BS when 80% of my transactions are being rejected when I have my fee setting at the highest.

56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Got error 157 'Unknown error code' from NDBCLUSTER (blockchain) on: August 26, 2013, 04:15:46 AM
You know what really sucks, I just sent a bet to SatoshiDice from my blockchain wallet, right before this happened, that is why I refreshed my transactions, wondering why it wasn't confirming. So, I just checked the SatoshiDice website for the transaction under my BTC address and it is not showing. So, I just cranked up bitcoind to see the transaction and if it has confirmed, or if it maybe wasn't actually subtracted even though it showed it subtracted from my balance on bockchain.info but it has been a bit since I cranked it up, so it'll take a bit before I know, while it catches up. Hopefully nothing is wrong. Just a small glitch.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Got error 157 'Unknown error code' from NDBCLUSTER (blockchain) on: August 26, 2013, 04:05:53 AM
I have seen that it has happened before, and I don't think there was an issue long term. They use cloudflare which has a DDoS and virus protection with their service, so they may redirect queries while someone is trying to attack the site, because it is a MySQL error code. Transactions are still going through, and I have my address's private key, because I imported it from my client into blockchain. So I can just crank up bitcoind if I need to access it. Always good to do it that way. Import your private key, if you use an online wallet, that way you can still access it from the bitcoin client or daemon if something happens to the online wallet, because the bitcoin network is still working, just that site is not.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Got error 157 'Unknown error code' from NDBCLUSTER (blockchain) on: August 26, 2013, 03:56:48 AM
Just got the same, "Got error 157 'Unknown error code' from NDBCLUSTER" error when refreshing transactions in Blockchain.info wallet. I was already logged in and was hitting the refresh icon within thee transaction page, to see if a transaction confirmed yet. I know it is a MySQL error, so I am assuming that someone is attempting DDoS and main server cannot communicate with server containing MySQL. I am not sure, cause I haven't looked into details of that error, but I assume that would be it. Hopefully everything is safe. Also, you will notice that no transactions are being processed or confirmed. The last transaction on the blockchain.info homepage says 22 minutes ago.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Android key rotation on: August 19, 2013, 03:08:40 PM
So, does this only affect Android wallets (Private Keys) generated by the Android wallet apps, or would my BTC address which I already had and then added to the blockchain wallet app also be affected? I hope not, cause I like keeping the same address for Public use, and then moving the BTC into my private addresses, never revealing public keys or addresses.
