41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: February 04, 2019, 05:55:50 AM
I used to do it every day, but now there is no need, I put a plugin for Google Chrome and coins are always in front of my eyes. Am I crazy?  Roll Eyes
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ARCONA - Augmented Reality Ecosystem! on: February 01, 2019, 06:48:49 PM
Tracking new projects, I met with a large number of charlatans, at the moment it is very difficult to find a good project. This is a really good startup. Good thing I discovered you.
Je je je Arcona is no longer a startup. If you look at the history of the project, it began long before the ICO (which by the way ended in July 2018.)
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SwissBorg | The Blockchain Era of Swiss Wealth Management on: January 31, 2019, 04:28:11 PM
Hey,

I'm sorry that I couldnt answer sooner, but I hardly had time. Its clear that many ppl have invested in Swissborg, without knowing what they have actually invested in. At the time when the project was still just an idea, the only planned utility was to share the company's gains through referendums with the ICO investors. This is of course initially a very trivial utility, since the startup probably generates little to nothing or even loses capital in the first 3 years. The team even considered (if legally possible) to have CHSB as security, which wasn't possible because there was and there is STILL no legal regulatory framework. Over time concepts change radically, especially future-oriented conecpts. Yesterday ICO, today STO. Today STO, tomorrow something totally different.

Meanwhile, the team knows that the future belongs to STOs (yet), especially multi-utility tokens and tokens which are treated as securities. Binance (BNB as multi utility token) has done it and the team takes their token as example and want even to make it better than binance.. There is a possibility that CHSB will never become a security / stock but will forever remain a multi utility token that develop further as network token on investment platform and other services Swissborg will offer in future. There remains a lot of speculation and blurry. But I'm sure the team knows what they're doing, I trust them. But I don't force you to trust them too, thats your choice Smiley

And the good thing that's about this whole app and all of the Swissborg products is that the're all connected to CHSB token. Which means that all the fees in terms of transcation fees, in terms of revenue will be directly linked to CHSB token. The more products we launch, the more renevue we make, the more we wll able to distrubte to the community. So this is something really improtant and we will add more utilites in the future.
I hope I didnt write down anything wrong. Text may contain errors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0wkVsRZdwo (13:10) - Speaker:  Alex Fazel (Head of Communications)

Let's cut through it, CHSB won't only have a  meaning for referendums, but will be also at the same time the heart of the ecosystem. Cool, isn't it?  Things certainly remain exciting.  Grin

Already a year since my participation in this project, the time has passed very quickly. Regularly receive the newsletter and I can say that even despite the difficult situation in the market, the team is very active and has achieved a lot this year (2018), however, the release of the app is so slow...
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ARCONA - Augmented Reality Ecosystem! on: January 31, 2019, 03:32:21 PM
💡 2019 will bring a lot of new augmented reality software and hardware as well as new features:

New AR capabilities for multiplayer
This functionality will let users see and interact with AR content simultaneously from different devices

AR advertising
This is a more creative and intimate approach to people learning about a new product and the way of using it.

More AR integrations
The easiest way to access AR will still be a cell phone, so more mobile devices will have integrated AR and hardware will become cheaper and fasted with a reduced side effect such as heating up.

https://venturebeat.com/2019/01/29/where-is-augmented-reality-going-in-2019-and-beyond/
I especially liked the part about AR capabilities for multiplayer. When you see augmented reality, it's one feeling, but when a group of people online participate and interact with augmented reality, it's going to be amazing!

Don't report! The bounty program is over 31/12/2018!

The topic can be transferred to Scam Accusations!
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 coins except eth or btc or ripple to buy? on: January 30, 2019, 06:24:26 PM
Let's face it, perspective coins, in my opinion, it is possible to allocate about 10-15, but as a condition 5, then:
Tezos
EOS
Waves
XRP
Credits (now token, but mainnet close)

(p.s. from the posts above, some people don't understand the difference between a coin and a token)
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: January 30, 2019, 06:06:23 PM
there are too many aspect of fail ico. and one of them is there is no good promotion.
Ico can be successfull is there is huge promotion like google adword,FB ads and many others.
I do not agree that the problem is lack of advertising if the project is really high-quality and innovative, the budget for advertising can be minimal, and there are vivid examples. How many good ICOs have failed due to lack of advertising and promotion?
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: January 29, 2019, 03:12:41 PM
...have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd...
No startup will go for this, given that large projects bounty pool ranges from 250K to 1m USD. Many of the projects and so do not like the quality and effect of the bounty programs, as it is in most cases very ineffective. And if the participants of the bounty want escrow in USD or BTC, then no one will go for it.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: January 29, 2019, 02:54:23 PM
1. No need for decentralization or token economy for a particular project.
2. The absolute vulnerability of investors and impunity for the organizers of the Scam.
3. No possibility to return funds to a specific investor if he is not satisfied with the attitude of the development team and deviation from the roadmap/ initial idea.
4. Immaturity of the market and high sensitivity to any crypto news/panic.
5. External political and regulatory factors exerting pressure on the whole industry.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Social Wallet Powered By WIRE [POS/MN] [Platform Complete][USA Util TKN] on: January 28, 2019, 06:02:30 PM
Social Wallet has rebranded to AirWire but OP the same, maybe it can be updated @takagari?

NodeCheck.io - the first masternode monitoring platform to offer API functionality for monitoring masternodes!
Make API calls to monitor status changes and payouts - ideal for MN hosting websites or crypto communities!
Get status changes and payouts and integrate into your platform utilising this information.
Provide various statistics, such as ROI, coins daily/weekly/monthly, and more!
Now we support 276 currencies including AirWire - https://nodecheck.io/currency/WIRE

https://nodecheck.io/site/api

Nice site, but AirWire doesn't look attractive - Yearly Income - 32,242.2750 WIRE / $198.4505 and Masternode price $215.43...
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] White Rabbit - ICO Discovery and Tracking app on: January 28, 2019, 01:56:14 PM
It has long been no news about this project and it's time to put a bold point. All this time there was a pause (like 7-8 months) and on January 26 the CEO of the project said what everyone already guessed - ICO failed.

p.s.  my condolences to the dev. team and participants of the bounty campaign.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bullrun comes on: January 26, 2019, 05:08:31 PM
Ive come in contact with few newbies that are confused about which coins to invest in ,well this is for you, be cautious and stay away from coins that have nothing to offer ,I meant if there is no reason creating that coin its mess, but all the same when bull run comes its win win for everybody ,yes everybody, unless dead coins ,even coins that are lower than 1sat goes over 30sat at last bullrun  even crappy projects became profitable ,I have a family friend that all his highest profits canes from the shit coins ,so worryless bullrun won't come anything soon but it will.
No one has an exact answer "when". Very high hopes with the Bakkt Exchange. If the platform can start, I think this will largely determine the beginning of the bullrun.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: January 26, 2019, 05:01:45 PM
In my view, regulation will be good for Crypto industry. As we can now see  that many Govt are looking for ways to regulate the industry.

Regulation will be a good thing in the long run. It will build trust for the industry among the masses thereby resulting in mass adoption. With regulation, people will feel more comfortable and have a sense of security to invest in crypto.

I don't believe that regulation means we have to declare our portfolio. Just as nobody cares to know exactly how much you own in the bank.

Regulation will also help in curbing the possibility of using crypto to launder money and place a check and balance in ICO which will make it very difficult for scam ICOs to operate.

I say regulation will in the end be a good thing for crypto..

What's your view about it?
Of course, this is good. Only with regulation will large players be able to come to the market and only with regulation will a large spread and adoption of the cryptocurrency become possible.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to invest in Ethereum or wait for Ethereum 2.0? I want to invest 5k on: January 24, 2019, 12:47:24 AM
This is just my opinion /

I think you should not wait for ETH 2.0, as we have no guarantee that one or more delays may occur. But clearly, as soon as the Hard Fork Constantinople takes place, it will spur to growth and then the price for the purchase will be unfavorable.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will STO survive? on: January 24, 2019, 12:36:48 AM
In my opinion, STO is an upgrade or development of ICO, meaning that this will continue to grow and be improved to become a perfect system, it takes a long time to restore the market situation. By the way, is Desico really a scam? I don't know that, if it's true I am very sad because I also invest Cry
Upgrade for ICO will not be STO, but rICO. As soon as this kind of fundraiser will gain popularity and improve the technical part, the majority of startups will pay to this all attention.

rICO - Refundable ICO

All hope for Fabian Vogelstellerei

56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find out a legit ICO? on: January 24, 2019, 12:27:06 AM
By finding a legit ICO is quiet so difficult to see. Because there are ICO's that good from the beginning, you think that it was good, but at the end it declares or not getting the minimum range of the bounty program. My advice for this is by reading carefully and thoroughly about the comments and also by knowing or joining the famous and popular bounty managers.
It's a fairy tale about the popular and famous bounty Manager. I was repeatedly a member of the bounty from popular managers, where eventually the project refused to pay and ran away with the money of the investors. Bounty Manager is not an indicator - better read the message above from @pcfli
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need help - bounty problem on: January 22, 2019, 08:16:19 PM
Thank you so much guys, I was really lucky the distribution of Wollo coins is planed for o1. February so I have time. I need just to find where I must make wallet for Lumen coins. Please if someone have yt tutorial or something like that send me  Grin

It does not matter where and in what application you create a wallet. At first, I used Stargazer, but now I've gone to Stellarport - the interface is much better and in case of working with tokens - it's easier to add Trustlines.

First, just having a wallet is not enough to get tokens on the XLM blockchain. You need to add Trustline - and you need to have at least 3 XLM on the balance. I'll leave you a few screenshots so you can see how it goes.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will STO survive? on: January 22, 2019, 07:58:40 PM
Yes, 2019 is called the year of STO (in any case, this is what PR managers say to each other), and at crypto/blockchain conferences - ICO is no longer perceived as something serious. However, there are many aspects of STO that the project development team will have to deal with, like:
-filing forms for SEC
-you must write and register investment prospectus and PPM.
-make a stock sale agreement
-release the token to one of the platforms for the production of ST
Also needed to connect the KYC provider. Well, and a few more important details. So will STO survive? Of course Yes, quality projects will be more and less scams, since all these procedures will help weed out non-viable projects.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find out a legit ICO? on: January 22, 2019, 02:33:01 PM
Piece of advise from my experience: Don't ever invest in any ICO where lead person is anonymous, in 99% cases it will turn out to be a scam.

Without a doubt, the owner of the company, the founder and other high-ranking positions should be public people, because it is necessary to hold webinars/conferences/AMA questions/interviews/presentations and other events. If you see an ICO project where owners/development team do not have real photos and accounts in social media - 99.999999% - scam!
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find out a legit ICO? on: January 22, 2019, 12:06:58 PM
For me i  saw very legit site but it came out to be scam also i think now a days its very hard to look for an ICO that is legit, I think everything is a Gamble now Wink

Not exactly, just try to look deeper and feel free to check the development team-write a message to the CEO and project partners.
Every project has partners. Through its partners is to begin the ICO check. Do companies really cooperate with a startup and so on.
