221  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-20] Another $25 Billion Wiped Out: Crypto Market Suffers From Large Sel on: November 22, 2018, 12:23:13 AM
I think this is all connected to the trade wars between USA and CHINA. It's not just crypto but also the US stock market are crashing down. There's a greater chance that most of the biggest investors of crypto are also doing stock trading so that's why there's a sell off that has been going on.
222  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-09]Bitcoin Trailblazer Jeff Garzik Says Bitcoin ‘Unquestionably. . . on: November 15, 2018, 07:25:13 AM
People should accept that bitcoin is not really meant as a means of payment but just a store of value. There are a lot of coins out there that needs more exposure that can get the job done. You guys can check Digibyte and Nano as a better contender for that qualifications.
223  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-13]Another US Museum to Begin Accepting Bitcoin on: November 15, 2018, 07:15:54 AM
I think bitpay is the real winner because most businesses today are using their services to process crypto payments which is good.

Wrong, and wrong

1.BitPay are too difficult to use, they use their own weird version of an unsupported payment mechanism. They'll "win" nothing except bad publicity, and the Great Lakes Science Center will end up cancelling the service because noone will use it

2. Most businesses are quitting BitPay, because of point 1

I have no experience in using Bitpay so hearing this just makes it hurt the bitcoin industry. Maybe the museum needs to make a research first because I think what happened is that Bitpay offered a good proposal for the payment partnership and the owners of that museum just said yes.
224  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-10] Bitcoin ETF Could Attract Billions in New Investment: VanEck on: November 15, 2018, 04:00:57 AM
I wish someone just bribe the people on the SEC or just use their influence to convince them so the price of bitcoin will stop getting dragged deeper and deeper. We really need some big news by the end of the month for at least to bring back the confidence of huge investors. I don't want to wait for a couple of years just because btc is back to $1k again.
225  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-10] Bitmain Sues Mystery Bitcoin Thief Who Hacked Its Binance Account on: November 15, 2018, 03:51:33 AM
They won't find that hacker for sure. I bet that even before he did that, he already prepared everything so he won't be tracked by any special IT team of  any government. But I'm just worried if another hacking incident would finally lead to stealing all of the funds of Binance because I have 50% of my portfolio there.
226  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-14] IMF Chief Lagarde: Central Banks Should ‘Consider’ Issuing crypto on: November 15, 2018, 03:41:13 AM
I hope that that not only the banks will have a change of heart very soon but also the SEC. People are very desperate for the ETFs to get approved as much as before we go down much more in terms of prices like the sudden drop of bitcoin in the value of $5k.
227  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrency regulation? on: November 07, 2018, 06:49:07 AM
No doubt about the future of fiat money: it's gonna be replaced by cryptocurrencies.
But does virtual money need a REGULATOR?

Yes, we can't stop it from existing. Governments will always interfere on anything that is under their system and considering that it's going to disrupt that monetary system that we are used to. Criminals are definitely going to abuse the cryptocurrencies so I think it's just fair to say that we need regulation.
228  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-01] ‘Blockchain’ is now more popular than ‘cryptocurrency,’ according on: November 07, 2018, 06:39:49 AM
Was that suppose to make us feel us good? Because I don't see anything about it that fascinates me. When people search blockchain, some of its results and contents will also show cryptocurrency or either bitcoin and altcoins. So there's no difference after if the other is much popular than the other.
229  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [06/11/2018] Bull Call: Novogratz Says Bitcoin Will See Record Highs in 2019 on: November 07, 2018, 06:31:42 AM
I'm sure that any bitcoin or crypto shiller traders like me can create a prediction like that. I've seen many threads here in the forum that looks exactly on what he stated above. This statements just makes people dumber when they get instant optimism when they read it.
230  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-06] Bitcoin Price: Crypto Market May be Poised for Bullish Breakout on: November 07, 2018, 06:20:36 AM
When you have heard this a hundred times throughout the year, you are just going to make a kind of breathing which sounds that  it's from  a very tired person. My mindset is now stuck on " If it happens, it happens". So if I don't see bitcoin breaking $10k again then I don't care about those patterns.
231  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Do people have to pay taxes on Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2018, 06:08:34 AM
I asked an attorney in my country and he said that anything that we make profit from is subject for tax and trading cryptocurrency is included. I was scared when I knew that but I know there isn't a clear law about so I'm still not going to pay my taxes.
232  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-31] Coinbase Now Worth $8 Billion, Raises Funds to Accelerate Crypto Ad on: November 02, 2018, 12:48:50 PM
This is what we are expecting on that company to do. They need to make much more effort especially that they are the leading and trusted buy and sell company for bitcoin and other altcoins. They should not get affected by the crash of this year's market mood and I want to see them on the level on Facebook and Amazon someday.
233  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-29] Minor Crypto Exchange Pulls Off Exit Scam, Steals All User Funds on: November 02, 2018, 12:37:51 PM
I knew that my decision was right on not trusting small time exchanges. They are always have the highest risk on claiming that they got hacked. It's very easy for them to do that unlike big exchanges that has a lot of prominent investors that will hunt them down and that's what keep the exchange to be reliable and implement tighter security.
234  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [01/11/2018] Bitcoin Bear Market Could Last 18 More Months: BitMEX CEO on: November 02, 2018, 12:26:37 PM
This is like the mindset of Tom Lee and friends that are always high when they make their predictions. I really don't care what they say because they don't even count as 1% of the total volume that is invested on the crypto market. They are just there so the media can release a lot of crap articles.
235  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-10] Princeton Research Claims China Motivated to “Kill” Bitcoin, ..... on: November 02, 2018, 12:13:25 PM
I'm not surprised because China does not want product they did not create or make. A lot of you here should know that Google is banned there and they use Baidu. Twitter and Facebook is also banned and its counterpart on China is Wechat. So therefore I conclude that China are on the process of making their own bitcoin so that is why they are persistent to kill it.
236  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-01] A Cryptocurrency Millionaire Wants to Build a Utopia in Nevada on: November 02, 2018, 12:00:39 PM
this guy seems like a total megalomaniac, some sort of wannabe cult leader. i suppose maybe that's what happens when you make 9 figures in the crypto market. Tongue

if he wanted people to show up, he probably should have set up somewhere a little more inviting than the mojave desert.....

Give the guy a chance and as long as there no gathering every week then it ain't a cult.  But I'm not expecting him to succeed either. I just want him make a huge noise that will make anyone attracted or interested in crypto.
237  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Yet Legal But Not Banned on: October 24, 2018, 08:19:39 AM
Yes not yet legal because some countries are scared of the fact that it is unregulated. But some just ban it all the way because their country has always the history of closing new ideas and possibilities.
238  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-23]Japanese Government to Significantly Simplify Crypto Taxation on: October 24, 2018, 06:55:58 AM
If only other countries will follow what Japan has done regarding with taxes on crypto then I believe that even those big earners would voluntarily pay their own taxes.
239  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-22]Bitcoin Price Becoming Less Volatile than Amazon Stock: CBOE Analyst on: October 24, 2018, 06:47:14 AM
I won't be so sure. Bitcoin maybe looks less volatile to compared to any  other investments but this just happened this year. We need to consider that regulations and crackdowns are the reason it started to act like this in the first place. The whole game has changed but we'll see when institutional money comes in.
240  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [20/10/2018] Novogratz Says Cryptos Are Safe, Expects BTC to Rally In Q1 2019 on: October 24, 2018, 06:35:46 AM
These prominent people and investors are just saying the same thing every year. They just change the value depending on the movement of the market. If it's bearish for a long time then they will adjust their predictions much longer, but when it's showing good then that is when they exaggerate everything.
