5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust bitcoin related services? on: November 15, 2019, 01:41:16 PM
Hi,

I have some questions where I have been thinking about the past week.
Why do you trust some website/company with your bitcoins?

Let's say a bitcoin casino, what makes you deposit bitcoin?
Is it the provably fair? Does it mean you trust a site when the game is fair?
Is it the looks of the site? The amount of users there are? If there is an open chat where you can see active users?

Or something else that doesn't have a game that's fair, for example a bitcoin exchange, how do you trust them?

Overall: What makes you trust bitcoin related services?

Another question: What does a new service need to earn your trust?

you dont care that they accept bitcoin, you check their credibility - reviews, social media, articles about them, forums, etc. If they looks legit . I buy the services. Like for example if PokerStars would accept BTC you would not hesitate to trust them because you already know that it is a trustable company.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: November 15, 2019, 01:35:02 PM
Crypto, Fiat, or any other form of scam is a global issue.

We must understand that people are always phishing wherever they can, so scam happens everywhere, with crypto, with fiat with retail with anything you can think about Smiley)
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: November 15, 2019, 01:29:31 PM
What if all those big corporates and businesses starts using crypto as a mode of payment just to avoid tax which will cause a direct loss to the government which uses tax for the betterment of the country. This might not affect corrupt countries as it doesn't matter because tax money goes to politician's coffers but what about developed nations?

Both, some people gain millions from BTC and other Crypto investments, and some of people lost everything they had on the ICO bubble. So IMO it can make economy better and worse Smiley

Do not listen what influencers like McAffee says, and do your own research!
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto ? Suspects, frauds and conspiracies on bitcointalk on: November 14, 2019, 07:56:43 AM
This is a great post. It is fun to follow the updates on who's Satoshi, it has became like Area 51 everyone want to know what is happening inside Cheesy
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do politicians take us for granted? on: November 11, 2019, 04:37:25 PM
Hmm that's extremely difficult question to answer. I do believe it depends how big the politician is and how much people he directly has to represent. Contact with people is really important, and when you have good relation with them you can do lots of things. But at the most cases, politicians starts to see themselves as someone incredible big and important.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Any ideas of what we lack in crypto world? on: November 07, 2019, 07:04:06 PM
Stability and bigger market cap. Market is too small right now to be stable all the time, some sharks can release bitcoin for 100M and all market crashes. We need to have atleast 1T of market cap.
12  Other / Serious discussion / Re: $100K by 2022 vs $100k by 2032 on: November 07, 2019, 06:55:49 PM
Or maybe there could be a negative scenario, where the price drops below 1k for example? In the past almost two years I have seen way too many predictions and like 95% of them currently failed. So probably the best thing is too wait for some more time and not concentrate on something what could possibly happen in 13 years.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and philantropy on: November 06, 2019, 07:03:53 AM
I used earn.com for airdrops they were doing, they had 4-5 charities which were integrated in the system and you simply donated part of your BTC to them.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is Facebook coin going on: November 05, 2019, 03:03:34 PM
But it still has a lot of potential
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: have you faced any difficulties in relationship? on: November 05, 2019, 02:43:27 PM
Too many to write all of them here. I think every human being at some point in life had difficulties in relationship. One can handle them better, others lose hope start to drink or even worse, start to use drugs. Although, if you are looking for an advice, probably it's not the forum you should these of questions.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Electric Cars and The Future on: November 04, 2019, 09:15:12 AM
No, it's not, many things are essential to our survival like Food, water and, etc.

For example:

Everyone thinks about Alternative Energy as the messiah of the earth, it will free us from the pollution, but let's take solar collectors - they are really hard to utilize https://www.theverge.com/2018/10/25/18018820/solar-panel-waste-chemicals-energy-environment-recycling, of course, it is an old article, but still it has a point, that it creates other problems, which needs solving.

I don't know if electric cars possess the same threat with their batteries. But I would not state that it is essential for our survival.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any apps on Android for trading cryptocurrency? on: November 04, 2019, 09:00:13 AM
Binance and Coinbase have Apps for Android Applications.

Have them both, but most of my trading goes through Binance, I use Coinbase just for storage of some of my Crypto.

Yes, no matter how miserable it may look sometimes life it's still worth to be lived.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: October 31, 2019, 06:30:12 PM
I always like the idea of cryptocurrencies, the idea of earning money was also very appreciated. One day I have decided to invest some money and see what happens, so from that day I'm still here  Cheesy
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why did 95% of traders fail and lose money? on: October 31, 2019, 05:00:45 PM
It is my theory based on my personal experience, but maybe most of the traders jumped into the train when the market was skyrocketing? After it fell down, most of them left?
