It was a typical 1-1 game, the score that was also on the scoreboard after 90 and 120 minutes. Mourinho has been very lucky with AS Roma in the past 2 seasons, almost impossible matches were still won. It was a matter of waiting before luck would be on their side, and that was the case against Sevilla this week. An expensive defeat for AS Roma, because they won't make it to CL, I think it will only be EL next season, but I don't know the exact rules, because in the league it's not good this year for AS Roma either. They have fallen quite a bit in that.

City must above all hope that Haaland is fit, but the chance that he is fit seems to me to be 99%, I think he has not suffered any injuries from the match against Manchetser United. But if City fails to win this again, what consequences will that have for the trainer? We always talk about a trainer being judged by his results. in principle, Guardiola's results are not good, but the game could not be better. I think this is an exceptional situation.

There are very few people who have become truly happy from gambling. And certainly not much gambling. What is a hobby for fun for one person can become an addiction and obsession for another. And that's when things start to go seriously wrong. I don't know how you can get rid of that if you're already deep in it. Those are things that don't just happen in a day. It also depends on the country where you come from, each country has its own rules regarding gambling.

The final is getting closer. It seems to be a kind of copy of the Bayern Munich - Chelsea match from just over 10 years ago. I remember when the odds were around 1.30 for a victory for Bayern. The difference, however, was that Bayern was allowed to play in a home stadium. This Manchester City are so good, no one seems to be able to beat them. best chance is of course in 1 game, then City must be good to win against Inter. Inter are a lesser team, but they have a chance if they can keep 0-0 on the scoreboard for as long as possible.

Inter Milan is still a tough team to beat. If AC Mila had been in the final, then of course we wouldn't have had any fun at all. But everyone can still remember how things went a few years ago, when Man City had to play against Chelsea in the final. Chelsea managed to win that game and City was also the big favourite. Guardiola deserves a prize in itself with his Playstation football, of course, but winning the CL is something that they have been craving for years in Manchester. And it can hardly go wrong for City you would say? But at Inter there are a few executioners in the back that Haaland has to deal with.

The biggest victory for Feyenoord is that the trainer will stay. He could still go Spurs but then you don't play CL. How good is Feyenorod if they play in the CL? I think they might be the favorites to win the new title in the league, but who will straighten things out at Ajax next season? A difficult task for any trainer. There are not many people who can help Ajax out in this position. In any case, Heitinga is leaving.

Normally Ajax always has a much stronger selection than Feyenoord and also than PSV. The trainers made the difference. But not only Ajax's trainer is gone, VanNistelrooy has also resigned himself 1 round before the end of the competition. I don't think it's really a good time to hand in your resignation. Fred Rutten will not stay on as coach, but both Ajax and PSV both suddenly have to look for a new trainer. Peter Bosz has often been taken and now that Edwin van der Sar is gone, the way seems to be clear for Bosz to go to Ajax, right?

City also seems unthreatened to go for the title in the new season? We cannot possibly expect from Liverpool that they will seriously compete for the title. You should compare the performance and the number of points of City and Liverpool, then you see how big the difference in level is at the moment. I don't believe Liverpool can close that gap in a few months, and I don't think Liverpool will sign many new players this summer. They can, but they won't. I think they need another good striker up front if they want to keep the connection with City.

The title for City, no big surprise. United could last for a while and it was also great that they managed to get the 1-1 on the scoreboard, but that was all. It surprised me that after the 2-1 we didn't see any more goals. Would have expected at least a goal from City. Nevertheless, City will be very pleased with the prize, they look set to take trophies in all competitions. I think Haaland really makes a difference for City this season, otherwise the world would look a lot different no doubt.

Things will have to change at Bayern Munich. Individually, they may have the best players in the world in their team after PSG. Then you would say that the trainer is the core of success or failure here? I couldn't think of anything else to be honest. There are good trainers, but most of them are unavailable or already coach a strong team. I would have liked to see a trainer like Slot in this team. Someone like Zidane seems like the ideal solution at the moment, but why doesn't Zidane want more? Is he no longer interested in being a trainer?
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 04, 2023, 06:15:59 PM
Sevilla had a very bad start to the season, but nevertheless had a great season. Just became middle class in the Spanish league and also won the EL. And that means direct placement for next season's CL tournament. What more could you wish for yourself? It is strange that they have performed so poorly in Spain, but that was mainly due to the phase before the winter break. Then a game was lost every week. The new chances for Barcelona and Real Madrid are 50-50 for the championship to be won.

Djokovic has apparently won easily again today. But that result and his level were mainly overshadowed by the whistling of the tennis fans in the stands. what I especially don't understand is why Djokovic thinks that everyone just accepts his behavior. He's got a lot of enemies since he doesn't want to get vaccinated with the anti virus against Covid 19. Other than that I don't think he's the big favorite to win this tournament. That really seems to be Alcaraz, but there are still a few outsiders who have good chances to have the final or take the title. The young generation would like to beat Djokovic.

Haha I didn't know stuff like that existed. Must be something new. I've been working in the gambling world for a while and have seen a lot pass by, but this really seems to be something completely new actually. And what could we bet on? It could get interesting with side bets, I just don't know what they could be based on? I haven't seen it in a bookmaker either lol
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 04, 2023, 06:08:32 PM
The big question is how strong Napoli will be next season? I think there will be a few transfers at Napoli so maybe they should say goodbye to their star players. It would be a great pity, it was a great pleasure to enjoy Napoli this season. Will Juventus win the title again? Not becoming a champion for 3 seasons in a row is remarkable to say the least after 10 years of being champions in a strong league without any problems.

There is also more money available every year through the deals with television money and sponsors also seem to want to release more and more money for football. All with the positive consequences that the competition in Italy has become very strong. I think you can perhaps compare it to the English league. That won't matter much anymore. If Napoli can keep their team together then we have a few favorites for next season. What Napoli showed this year was unprecedentedly high, which is why it is very difficult to repeat that for the new season. maybe too difficult.

Mourinho has shown that it is just a sore loser. I can't make more of it. But emotions are part of football, so somehow I can understand his behavior. Still, he was a bad winner in the quarterfinals against Feyenoord, where do you still see those things? It was a game that deserved a draw. The fans in particular were the big winners of this game. It is unprecedentedly good what Sevilla has achieved with this team. And on to CL.

There really wasn't much to it today. A race that was dominated by Verstappen all weekend, and today it was exactly the same from start to finish. It slowly seems that we will get a similar championship again just like last season. Nobody was waiting for that, but at Red Bull they are of course very happy because this is the ideal dream scenario. Another top day for Mercedes with a 2nd and 3rd place. That is the prelude to a fun season, but it will of course not be exciting for the title. It already seems to have been fought.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 28, 2023, 08:59:17 PM
The game between Juventus and Milan will start in 5 minutes for what it matters.

Juventus will be probably penalized once again before the appeals so I don't know what is the point in watching the game.

It seems like after what happened to Juventus they lost hope for this season and they are not in a good situation. Just think about it, Juventus just lost 15 points and they got it back then they lost 10 points instead of the 15 points they lost, the players had no idea about their place on the table and they didn't know if they can play on the champions league in the next season or not.
That's why even if Juventus lost this game against Ac Milan I won't be surprised.

Juventus lost to AC Milan at home. Of course I think it is right that Juventus received the penalty imposed, but why does it have to be done halfway through the season? In principle, Juventus are now seriously disadvantaged, because they were 2nd because the initial penalty was reversed and they therefore thought they could easily qualify for the CL. If they had had the 10-point penalty then, they would of course have played the last games with a completely different attitude and possibly also achieved better results and there would have been a real chance to enforce qualification for the CL. So a very curious decision by the Italian Football Association, or has FIFA interfered in this?

The Boston Celtics indeed seem to be going against the Miami Heat. We have a score of 3-3 there, and a 7th game is also what this game deserves. And then there was the Boston Celtics leading the entire game, until 1 second before the end, when it seemed to go completely wrong. I myself thought the tip was in out of zoomer's time, but in the replay it was very clear that the shot was fired before the end of regular time. I think the Miami Heat supporters are really disappointed now, because Bost on is the favorite because they play at home on Monday and have the support of the home crowd. That will have a big impact.

What can I say more? Dortmund messed it up big time in the final moments of the season. I was quite shocked after seeing them finishing the first half 2-0 behind. While you are about to become the champions after many years you can't just let an aimless team get ahead against you. This is just nonsense. Dortmund became a huge disappointment for their fans by this result that's for sure.

I have always said that I know they don't aim to win the league title first according to their vision. But they got this much close to the title thanks to Bayern Munich's throwing their chances many times. Dortmund mustn't have rejected this enormous opportunity that easy. Unless they make changes in their vision I don't expect them to ever become the number 1 team in the Bundesliga.

Both teams have had a chance to maintain the lead in recent weeks. It also fits perfectly with the season. It was a mess at both Munich and Dortmund, but I didn't expect the bad game from Dortmund. The bookmakers still had every confidence in it, because even with a 0-2 score, the bookmakers still found Dortmund the favorite to win the match in the end. However, they have never been close to victory, and the 2-2 of course came much too late. That Bayern has been a bit lucky, dortmund mainly owes to zizh himself. They should have just won themselves then they would have been champions.

I don't think you can control emotions if you have lost a lot of money gambling. You have to imagine that you have lost all your savings and then you can imagine that you are very angry and sad about that? they are not only emotions of anger but also of loss and grief. Those are things that are very normal. Not everyone gets aggressive and angry after losing a lot of money. Some people only end up in a negative spiral and suffer from considerable depression.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 28, 2023, 08:35:45 PM
Inter Milan has also been one of the most stable teams in this competition. Of course they don't come close to Napoli, but that has also been an outside category this season. Contently, Inetr still left a good impression. It is a pity for Napoli that they have collapsed in recent months, which you also saw in the CL and in the matches against AC Milan. In the last 3 mutual duels they have lost 2 x and 1 x draw. Especially the 0-4 defeat at home against AC Milan was very bad for self-confidence just before the match in the CL in the quarterfinals.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 28, 2023, 08:31:12 PM
Actually, there is little point in following the French league in the battle for the championship, isn't it? Lille became champion once 2 years ago, but we will not see that again in the next 10 years. The chance that PSG will become champion again in the coming season is about 95%. Not really worth placing a bet on that. I'm more curious if they can get the roster together what players like Ramos will do. And Mbappe, does he not want to win prizes in the CL? Then he should go to Madrid or City?
