Hey guys, I'm looking to sell air powered rockets (like soda bottle rockets). Because it's air powered, it doesn't deal with explosives, however, I'm still worried that I may run into legal issues. So I'm looking to you guys for some questions I have

- Do I require a license to sell these rockets? I'm not selling the rocket engines, just the frame itself.
- These rockets are pretty small--less than 6 inches in height, but they are very dense, and can shoot somewhat high (say, 500 feet) I can see them being used as a weapon. Do you think there could be issues with selling them?
- Is there anything else I need to be aware of? Do I need to have them checked off by the government as 'safe'?

Hey guys, I'm compiling a guide on how to get free online courses and MOOCs. I'm going to sell it on ebay, but I don't want others copying it and selling it too, as it has and is taking a lot of work to put together.

As of now, it's a google spreadsheet and a couple google docs that go with it. Both of which can be copied in seconds.

Should I just leave it as that and hope nobody copies it? I've been thinking of creating an application that displays the guide, and I could make it very difficult to copy. What do you guys think? Is there another solution I'm not seeing?

Wow. I don't really care, but this is too much fun. So just to name a few:

- I'm taking a math class a grade level above my peers. Not only is this math class a combination of 2 others, we completed it in half the year, and since then we've been learning calculus. Not to mention the fact that we don't go every 1/10 days, and our periods are only 45 minutes long, of which we spend messing around half the time.

- I take honors english and honors history. I'm not old enough to take ap classes yet

- I know c++ and java very well

- I know html, css, and python

- I'm also into robotics and know the arduino language very well

- I'm very proficient in solidworks, and could easily have a professional if not expert certification if I had the money

- I'm familiar with the linux terminal

- All of which, other than the school things, I'm completely self taught

- And I could keep on going with my less notable, but still out of the ordinary skills (ask me and I'll continue)

So maybe I'm not that wise and for sure immature, but smart? I think I'm pretty smart. And if you meant that I wasn't wise, well, I'm not the one that made multiple offensive comments and preceded them with 'Not to be mean here or anything'   



So you know this from experience? I can't say this from experience, but if I were a hacker I wouldn't mind taking the odd job here and there for 100$, just for fun--as a hobby. There's such a huge database of users here I was pretty sure I'd catch one at least. Also, whoever said that the hacker that might've come across this thread would have been looking around for 100$ jobs?

Cheating is allowed

Math questions are at a 9th grade level and include statistics, solving equations/algebra, graphing, geometry, word problems, percentages, and a couple others.

10 cents per topic achieved. Each topic has 3 math questions, some of which can be answered in 10 seconds. These questions have to be answered correctly in order to pass the topic.

Need to achieve at least 100 topics a day.

There are occasional 'knowledge checks' or 30 question tests. If these are answered 100% correctly, it could bump up the number of topics by at least 30, giving an instant bonus

To put it in perspective, I myself am somewhat proficient in math and can answer about 30 topics an hour without rushing. If I got a knowledge check and rushed I could achieve 60+ topics in 1 hour.
