From a different perspective, since many great guys are giving great idea.
When I look for ICOs, to define whether they are scam or not, I look at the bounty manager.
Nowadays most bounty managers are Senior/ Hero or Legendary.
However, even they are in that ranking some of them are doing shit jobs.
So, when you find the bounty or ANN thread, look at the name of the manager.
If the manager's name is Sylon, Aerys2, or deadly, they are well experienced
bounty manager, so I think they must have done a due diligence by themselves.
That is one way I decide which ICO to join.

I hear that EOS is very good in scalability.
In 2018 to 2019, I think more and more ICOs are coming and
they are going to realize that ETH is no longer useless.
And also they will try to solve some big problems, which needs huge infrastructure.
In that case, I think people will start looking for a blockchain with great scalability.
Then, EOS could be a good solution for them!!

I think EOS could be a good blockchain for future big projects.

Do the review of the project and if you think it is good, hold it for a long term, at least a year.
That is what we call investment and what you have to do for ICO.
