Never underestimate a niche project when it comes to crypto.
One of the best news these days.

"The Dallas Mavericks and Lympo, a blockchain app which motivates people to exercise and be healthy, are announcing today a multi-faceted partnership that includes a practice jersey patch and the renaming of all Mavs practice facilities. Later this year, the Mavericks and Lympo will unveil the rebranded Lympo Training Facility and the Lympo Training Court, as well as new practice jerseys featuring the Lympo logo. In this three-year deal, the partnership will also include the creation of a new Mavericks Fitness Team and future integration of Lympo cryptocurrency tokens in Mavericks blockchain initiatives, including an option to purchase tickets."

Hey Lympotians, the team needs our help to get listed on TOP15 exchange BIBOX.
Please, help them make it happen: https://www.bibox.com/votelist

I did vote. And you lose nothing if they do not win as you get your BIX back. If they win, it will be a small price to pay as coin will rise more on this exchange. Let's do it!!!

A very fine and reasonable article on Lympo-Caroline W. partnership. Once again, gratz Lympo. Way to go.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Influential tennis player signs a deal with ICO project on: April 18, 2018, 03:08:18 PM
I've just read the news on Twitter that Caroline W. signed a partnership with Lympo (@LympoApp).
https://twitter.com/CaroWozniacki/status/986601747144691713

That is quite huge news as she has over 3 mln. followers on Twitter alone. Now more than ever exposure of crypto and ICOs to the general public is crucial to leave behind bearish market and get back on the bull.

The more real people and projects (reference to PH+Verge) come into crytpo, the faster it is accepted by the general public. And when mass adoption begins - there is no power who could stop cryptos Smiley
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the beginning of new crypto era? on: April 13, 2018, 01:58:50 PM
I believe we need one or two projects to work worldwide in RL situations, be it payments, data management, health management, connected autonomous cars. Whatever. People will start trusting in BC technology and I would think will begin taking interest in cryptos in general. Also, it would really help if any mega-corporation signs a partnership deal with a solid crypto project. For now, it is on enthusiast and fast cash trading level. Rarely I meet people who buy coins because they really believe in a project. Usually, it's "it will moon next month; then I dump"  Sad
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto thoughts on recent news? on: April 13, 2018, 09:50:17 AM
Well, there are 7,6 billion people in the world. Like it or not even 1% is enough for cryptos to live on and survive all the FUD that was and is happening. I believe we are still in early stages of it and it is just a matter of time when more and more people will start embracing it.
However, we will not avoid stricter regulations as well. But it is a good thing - we cannot have sustainable cryptoworld in a wild wild west state. There should be some ground rules and regulations to abide by.
I do hope more and more projects start popping up with real life use. For now it seems most of projects are trying to solve money issues and decentralization of holdings. But we need more projects that are down to earth, like personal data management, consolidation of personal information which would be easily accessible and fast to get, use blockchain in aviation, automobiles industry, health industy, sports industry, etc. For now it is all about financial industry.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [LYM] Lympo - Monetizing sports and health data via blockchain on: April 13, 2018, 09:09:46 AM
Today I have got mail from Lympo. What will be happen on next 18 th April. Is there any clue.  Huh Huh Huh

I really hope it is some partnership and not exchange. At least their awesome video implies it should not be an exchange. We need now more partners and/or real life usage. I really hope we shake off all doubters and only real supporters hold tokens. I know i am holding them and get those sweet equity shares later this year. Never owned any company shares so really excited to get some.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My top 3 altcoin picks for 2018! on: April 12, 2018, 07:21:37 PM
Top 1: NEO with it's Network with other blockchains (NEOX link), Developer Competition, Project ICOs based on NEM5, Partnerships, Onchain, etc. Also the fact that you are getting kind of dividends from NEO all over the time to the value of GAS.

Top 2: Lympo, the best recent surprising coin, with the aim of an healthy lifestyle ecosystem powered by user-generated and user-controlled sports and wellness data. Furthermore with the upcoming release of the wallet app and the use of wearable fitness trackers data. Lympo's upcoming huge ecosystem with health, sports, healthcare (if everything's going good), reward system and much more. The first look into the wallet app is great, you can have a look in it right here. Great and ambitious working team as well as an awesome atmosphere within the community.

Top 3: eBTC: The eBitcoin Ecosystem brings together many Blockchain companies all under one umbrella-type group. Each partner within the Ecosystem works independently and focuses on their specific expertise, but also collaborates with other partners in the Ecosystem for the advancement of the Crypto world. The primary utility of the eBTC token is to provide an easy and fast payment solution with respectable transaction fees. It will be the primary payment method used in the eBitcoin Ecosystem.

Heh, you named two of my top 3 coins. Both of them - LYM and NEO - are in long term hold portfolio. The third one being IOTA. I really hope IoT picks up and this coin "moons" Smiley
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Lympo revolutionize the way of doing sports also with a new ecosystem? on: April 12, 2018, 11:52:17 AM
Just finished to analyse their whitepaper and recent news. My thoughts about this project are very positive and promising, because their community are active, support team response quickly. Also, they are already listed on four exchanges, however I expect volume to be higher in near future. Not to mention, that on April 18th, they will announce smth big, need to follow them on Twitter https://twitter.com/lympo_io?lang=en

There are so much good as solid point mentioned in the Whitepaper, highly recommend reading it. Furthermore something big is coming. Bearing this in mind, mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 18. The time has come to take our journey to the next level. To get to the core of the project and the question of this topic, it will definitely change something. The team is permanently involved in the project and community to deliver a stable and well organized ecosystem. The recent news for the basis Blockchain is set and especially the EU made a strong collaboration within 22 Member States, including Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Malta and the United Kingdom.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Something big is coming. What it will be? on: April 12, 2018, 11:31:10 AM
Today I have read the news about  U.S. Department of the Treasury asserts announcement, that they feel very positive about crypto. European Unit is planning to invest 300 million dollars by 2020. 22 countries, including Great Britain, France, Germany, Norway, Spain and the Netherlands, signed some declaration about their intentions to create European Blockchain Partnership on the 11th of April. And U.S. Department of the Treasury asserts claims that it's not against crypto and blockchains, but it is against using it for terrorism and another evil purposes. that is why  U.S. Department of the Treasury asserts stands for regulations that won't let this happen. so i am pretty sure, that everything is going to be ok with bitcoin and crypto world in general. we just have to be patient and not to follow these FUD games, that are everywhere around us

That's it! There have been a signement about the Blockchain cooperation within the EU. With the EU Digital Day a stronger focus for the Blockchain in the of EU countries will come and is set now. It's all about shaping Europe's digital future together and finding answers to the challenges of digitisation in consultation. This is also just great news for Lympo as well. Smiley
One of the quotes: "The European technology sector sees the Blockchain as an area in which Europe is ideally positioned to play a leading role. However, it is no secret that we must invest in this - both politically and financially." says Andrus Ansip, EU Commission Vice-President. There is much work ahead, but the basis is set!

The EU has already invested over 80 million euros in the development of blockchain services. Another 300 million euros are to follow by 2020, according to the related press release.

The Blockchain is a great opportunity for Europe and its member countries, you got that right as well. I'm currently looking forward for this and watching the whole topic closely. The first cross-border blockchain services are to be introduced by 2019 under the auspices of Brussels. Furthermore first Master's Programme on Crypto Currencies in Brazil is yet to come. Great news from all over the world. What do you guys think about it?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are good projects in altoins and why? on: April 11, 2018, 03:33:36 PM
LYMPO (LYM) is a good project but pretty much overlooked or looked-down on because it does not offer "fast and seamless transactions", "moon coin", etc. However, it does (will, if you like) reward you for being healthy and exercising. If that is not enough for you, they will offer equity (company) shares later this year. Didn't see any ICO to do that so far. Of course it is not an altcoin for fast profits. I am keeping their token at least until full app release and then some.
I would really suggest to check them out and maybe join Telegram to chat with admins which are very friendly and responsive.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin will make us rich? on: April 10, 2018, 02:30:49 PM
Go for LYM and thou shall not regret. Like their project even though it is underrated and under-looked.
Their token is holding up pretty good in this market being above ICO price (ETH-wise) and somehow the greatest news of all - they will be distributing equity shares later this year for LYM token holders. So basically you can get best of both worlds: good utility token and company shares. Can't understand why people under-look this project  Undecided so far they have been nothing less than spectacular for me
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: lifespan, overclock and temperature on: April 10, 2018, 10:05:27 AM
Hello Miners!
I have a zotac 1080 and a zotac 1080TI
I'm currently running without overclocking, but I'm afraid to overclock and slow down the board's life.

Zcash
1080 - 70% / 58c / Fan 70% = 560Sol / s
1080Ti - 70% / 53c / Fan 70% = 750Sol / s
Is the temperature good? will VGA run for at least 2 years?

What overclock do you guys recommend I do? I'm not very experienced with mining.

with overclock will the board last for less than 2 years?

I researched in some forums, they say the board, keeping it below 70c it will last for more than 3 years even with overclocking

I am running 4x Zotac 1080 Mini @ 65% power, auto Fan (usually ~45-55%), rig temps 45-55C (depending on outside weather), indoor temps 18-25C (open window no additional fans to cool so far), overclocked to 175/550. Getting ~515sol/s with ~4.2sols/w

Using Awesome miner with Bminer/DSTM software for Equihash mining on MPH, currently averaging ~0.00055/6 BTC daily.

Tried increasing/decreasing overclock but found that only power limit is effective in giving more sols, however, sols/w does not change.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the beginning of new crypto era? on: April 10, 2018, 09:46:39 AM
Many speculation in this year crypto will grow and many people's do transactions using crypto. Last year is just a beginning. This year the price will increase more than last year, even last this month the price drop down much. But positive thinking is the price will rise and shine again.

I hope you are right, but I am starting to worry. Too much FUD imho.
Everyone said it will pick up after Chinese new year - it didn't, then most said April will be starting point - so fat it hasn't. Now I hear Q3 or by the end of this year. But I'm starting to doubt Smiley
It seems like people start dumping once price goes up 20% or so, and then it goes down again. Oh well, maybe gradual increase will be for the best. Dont want moon by the end of this year, but would be happy to see BTC hovering well above 10k USD this year, and adding another 2-3k the next.
Also, hope there is less FUD and governments start embracing blockchain and cryptos instead of banning everything.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: April 10, 2018, 07:56:31 AM
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? Grin

Mainly because it is on hype right now. It is just another way of funding your own project. Just like Kickstarter, Gofundme and the likes. However, you do not have to offer anything for getting funds. If people like you idea, whitepaper, if they believe in you - they decide to invest (give you money). In return you give tokens (basically air) in hopes that when you deliver users will be able to cash out those coins (use them somewhere).
Recently there were some news about several ICOs which said they will offer equity (namely, some NYC hotel and Lympo). We will have to wait and see how it turns out in the end.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China to legalize ICOs on: April 09, 2018, 09:21:45 PM
What do you think about Lithuanian ICOs? What your experiences investing into them? I’m following one project welltrado.io. Do you think it can be a right investment?

Thank you for your answers!

I have / had several ICOs on my watchlist I planned to invest or already invested in which seem to have quite a few members from Lithuania. I am a bit sceptical on p2p lending but will add this one to my watchlist.
Several more projects from that country or having team members from there are LYM(Lympo), WePower (WPR), CV (carVertical)
