At first, I was also confused when the price of bitcoin dropped and altcoin prices also fell.
I think Bitcoin has a big influence on the price of Cryptocurrency in the market.
No wonder the prices of Bitcoin and Altcoin are interrelated because Bitcoin is the oldest coin that appears in the Cryptocurrency market so that Bitcoin is used as a reference price for other altcoins.
This is why Altcoin prices always follow the price of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is a leader in the investment market and will always remain with them. Other coins will always be equal to its price and try to outrun it. |

I use local version of MEW - mycrypto. It's an application from the MEW developers. It allow to make any transfer and look any tokens include ERC20, ERC721 and the same. This project was developed by part of the MEW team that left old project. And today their project looks amazing. I don't use MEW today because of phishing, dns spoofing etc.

As new to Crypto, I can say that Technical Analysis is important for not only for investors but also for bigginers becausei it can guide us in analyzing the movement of the prices of bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, bitcoincash and other cryptocurrency based on an examination of past price movements. It uses patterns in market data to identify trends and make predictions which will tell when to invest.
In fact, in the market of encryption, I feel that technical analysis is not so effective, because this market is unregulated. When the market starts to fluctuate wildly, you will find all technical analysis, all support points or pressure points are not resistant. Sorry, but TA don't depend on any regulation. TA basis is historical data and human psychology not on any gov's law. That's why TA work. Yes6 we must define right indicator or oscillator for decision. But it's an own experience and knowledge. |

I think that is not only 50 $ and below,by the end of the year Ethereum will drop to 0-10 $ so the time has come to get rid of Ethereum and buy monero,dash,neo. I think that Ethereum is removed from the game specially trained people but why?
Who is these 'specially trained people'? Do you imagine how much people work with Eth blockchain by different projects? dApps, utility tokens for different ideas, exchanges, miners, programmers and designers? Near 250-300k imho. I don't think that ETH can die |

$100 USD is to low to start trading. That amount is just good enough to hodl one or two coins for long term. You made the right decision to hodl ETH because the price is going low and it can recover anytime. ETH price should be back around mid December this year or probably at the start of 2019. If you want to be successful on trading and earn on short term like most traders do, $500-$1000 will be enough to buy different coins with high appreciation rate.
I think you can trade with any sum. But your profit will be commensurable. And for learning it's not bad. Trading allow to work for any people. And slowly increasing own trading funds is a recipe for success and a sign of the right strategy |

it is been approximately five months because the date of the question. And the answer is the identical. Now it's far very risky to invest in altcoins due to the fact the rate may also fall even decrease!
The risk in investing in crypto currency was and will be always, at any moment the market can collapse and you will lose your money. That's why you need to invest only the money that you do not want to lose. |

In my opinion, I think the best and most potential altcoin to invest in is ethereum because it has very good and promising potentials, t has good blockchain technology, very strong team members, a strong community and it is also a good coin for hold on long term. It is impossible to say exactly which coin will give the biggest increase for today. Too many factors that influence the market, and it needs to be analysed every day. |

Yes you can if you invest wisely. Or maybe if you are just a lucky one. But anyway you have to do some work to get rich because there is nothing free in this world.
If it is reasonable to think about investing, not investing the last savings and credit funds, then you can get an excellent income. The market is not as fast as before, so the best strategy for today is long-term. |

The market continues to disappoint. Should I regret investing in altcoins?
It must be own solution. Not advise. I use this market for purchase some coins that were too expensive at the winter '18. And today they are deeper and deeper. But before purchasing I made some investigations and outlined the list interested for me. I'm sure that most of these will be good or excellent. But not now |

I am quite surprised by the ETH price, never expected that the price could reach below 200$. But I too think this is a good opportunity to buy some ETH. And it will recover very soon.
Why not? Such FUD on the project. Vitalik don't know what says and say nonsense about ICO death and same. I'm surprised why ETH is not by $100. This is a good price now with such market and info state. I think ETH will restore but with qualitative changes. Nothing else |

Six months ago I bought a crypt and when the price rolled down I sold it. Now the price is even lower than in others. I'm glad that then left the game
What do you here if you sold crypto?  Wait another bull run? Or try to 'bring one's faith'? It's a waste of time. If I don't sell at the Jan then I will not sell now, especially. With such dump I hope that I will return in times. But if I sell now all will end now without any cases. All simple - today not a time to sell after 6 months of holdings |

I don't really think that this is a year of altcoin,
Specially ICO's we could see that there are so many ICO that have failed or didn't even make it up to their ICO price this year.
Even if the market is currently experiencing not the best of times, do not give up and stop believing in yourself. I hope that everything will calm down and the price of coins will again grow. |

I suggest to hold it first because the price of all altcoins now is very cheap then you can sell it when the market goes up again and selling now is not a good idea in bloody market.
I do not sell my coins yet, waiting when they grow in value. Also I'm going to buy a few more to make a profit in the future. |

I still hope for this but I started to be quite negative about ETH, Bitcoin is king and maybe never will let any other coin pass it, many people talk about Bitcoin as only future coin, maybe that's true.
Ethereum catches up bitcoin in popularity and most likely they will soon equalize in value, but the developers have to try very hard to make this happen |

Bitcoin old highs were near $20000 so $25000 will be easily done once market makes new highs, hopefully by early 2019. Bitcoin could run up big once it breaks out above $20000.
I don't think that this will happen in 2019, my forecast for 2020 is at least. And of course, if there will not be any unforeseen situations and the market will not go down again. |

the future of crypto is very bright. right now it is swinging because very few people know about it. but crypto market has superb blockchain technology and its ability to deal with complex problem of the world at a very low cost make it the next star in world economy
Maybe it's not so bright but not bad But I think blockchain technology is not equal cryptocurrency. For blockchains I see many applications and implementations but for many coins I don't see other than speculations and scams. That's why I wait many good from this techno jump |
