6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - 🔥 🚀 Minereum BSC (MNEB) is now live on Binance Smart Chain 🚀 on: June 14, 2021, 03:22:50 AM
It's kind of a neat idea.

The way the coin works, only a certain amount is tradeable, whatever is mined ... All else is locked up and cannot be traded. As far as I understand it even the developer can only trade the amount he mined.

Current tradable supply is only a little over 9000. If my observations are correct this could mean a greatly increased price in the future as there is not many available for the time being.

Then again, who's to say the website will still be around in 50+ years?

Now I could be understanding this wrong and if so do let me know.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] THERESAMAYCOIN [MAY]|💠Crypto Currency💠| DIGITAL ASSET on: February 11, 2019, 05:00:59 AM
Dead?

Need to download 260 blocks for a while now, not happening. Way to go Developer!

You should of predicted a 1% PURE POS coin was not going to continue being a viable blockchain.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] THERESAMAYCOIN [MAY]|💠Crypto Currency💠| DIGITAL ASSET on: January 25, 2019, 06:50:49 AM
24+ hours now trying to download 16 blocks. All the peers have left as no one cares to open the wallet and help sync the blockchain as 1% is a pathetic POS percentage.... more so when this coin is barely 1 sat. So 1% on a 1 sat coin = less than pennies generated by keeping it open on your desktop.

Update the wallet and change it to a 5-10-15% percent interest rate. 1% is simply not worth opening the wallet for so there will be no peers syncing the chain... causing exchange failures (delistings) = death of may coin.

I know the wallet won't be updated though as its on yobit which means the dev will more than likely not be able to get yobit to update, so yeah. Not looking good right now for this coin. No future.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] THERESAMAYCOIN [MAY]|💠Crypto Currency💠| DIGITAL ASSET on: January 10, 2019, 06:17:40 AM
I don't think the issue is with the supply as to why we are so low in price. The 1000 block reward isn't going to last for long. After block 216901 it's going to be a 1% POS rate. The problem is the crypto space in general. The coin supply right now is only 95m... that's nothing.

May is simply dead when it comes to the dev. If coinmarketcap is correct this only has a 7000$ market cap. You can't expect this coin to be worth a lot when the market cap is so pathetic.

Of course with the dev doing absolutely nothing when it comes to the coin it's not going to go anywhere. It needs to drop Theresa from the name first of all. Supply is fine, and the POS rate should be adjusted from 1% to possibly 5-10% to keep people staking. I won't be staking this coin once it hits 1%... that's not worth opening... may as well be pure POW.

Another issue is when this coin does finally drop to 1% nobody is going to open the wallet to stake anymore, and someone new joining the coin is going to have a hell of a time trying to get a connection.

Bitcoins got plenty of life left in it! It's 10 years old but we still have till 2140 before all bitcoins are completely mined.. Most of us will be long dead and bitcoin will still be going strong.

I ran a poll on Twitter to see if people would like to see MAY listed on another exchange that has a doge pairing and the yes vote won so I was able to get MAY listed on Guildex for free and now we have a Doge pairing just in case MAY does go below 1 sats. Also a new discord has been created as the last one was deleted for I don't know why but now there is a new one for the community to join.

Discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/trKMqMc

Guildex exchange: https://guildex.io/market/DOGE-MAY

Good job buddy. Glad to see you're helping out this coin. Any market can help. Just gotta wait for guildex to get some volume and we're good to go.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LAMBO Coin 905% POS per Year / continued ... on: October 28, 2018, 03:39:01 AM
If anyone is willing to pay it this exchange will list Lambo for 10k doge coins, which is extremely cheap. They also want 10 pages worth of activity on the bitcointalk thread though. It's still possible in the future once we get this coin all fixed up. We seem to be doing good lately.

13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most secure OS on: October 01, 2018, 04:29:53 PM
If you hold a decent amount of coins and want complete anonymity/security when it comes to your transactions and crypto deals then I'd recommend tails linux ( of course I'm talking about an offline wallet here and not a node wallet.. IE private key only). It's just about the best OS on the planet when it comes to privacy and anonymity. Also If you use a hardware wallet you're pretty much guaranteed to be safe anyways on any operating system so the OS doesn't really matter in the end... A good thing with tails is as soon as you're done it basically erases itself. You can also use it anywhere on a USB drive, so take it anywhere. Heck do your crypto shit at work if you want!

Pretty cool to see me on one of these lists, I'm all the way down @ number 4466! I'm not the most active member on the board. My activity and posts are usually the same! I'm mostly here to discuss on the altcoins I'm invested in. I wouldn't say I'm self made! I started off with 10 merit. I've always been into the drama that lurks in the meta section though, one perk to this forum it can make your day go by.

Your merit Analysis' are very intriguing and I can only imagine the effort it may take. Great content to skim through though! Keep it up. Give good encouragement to all members, new and old.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LAMBO Coin 905% POS per Year / continued ... on: September 26, 2018, 03:45:38 PM
And also does anyone have the origianl LAMBO commercial that was used to promote the 905% interest LAMBO ... it was on youtube, and actually sounded professional? It was a youtube video

I know what video you're talking about. Unfortunately I looked high and low for it and could not come across another source of it. The original URL is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2LSyGlxcN4 and is deleted. I doubt it was uploaded elsewhere and without the original title of the video I can't pinpoint if it was uploaded at another site besides youtube or not.

The video was very well done. I honestly don't understand what thought process went through the devs mind when he scraped this coin and screwed us all over. It was traded for really good prices... there wasn't many on the market at the time either. I don't think I will ever comprehend it.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I earned $ 3500 from the 1 airdrop on: September 21, 2018, 06:15:21 AM
I also made a decent amount of money from oct 2017 till jan 2018 doing airdrops almost everyday. When there was so much money flooding into the crypto market the airdrops sometimes soared in price. The highest airdrop I ever got from 1 airdrop was only 200$ though, which I sold right away of course.

Knowing people that have been doing airdrops since the bubble burst though it doesn't seem to even be worth it anymore. Most airdrops have billions of coins and they airdrop you like 20 coins lol... like whose going to pay gas to transfer out 20 tokens out of 50b available?
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best thing for time pass ! on: September 21, 2018, 06:02:04 AM
Obviously like a lot of other people have said video games are an excellent way to pass time. Reddit is also an excellent time waster for many things. So many communities to get involved into. Youtube for random videos and music videos of course. You've got netflix to kill time with if you're into watching something longer than random videos. Honestly memes on reddit are one of the fastest time sinks. I can lose hours on reddit if I stay on it!
18  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Paybis (BTC to PayPal) on: September 21, 2018, 05:49:32 AM
Never heard of Paybis.I have been using https://changex.com/ for over a year now (No KYC needed unless you're russian I believe) They deal in more than just bitcoin as well. Also many options to receive your money besides JUST paypal. They're extremely fast and courteous as well. I sometimes get my paypal transfer in less than a day... bitcoin/altcoins are semi-automatic and some of their other options are fully automatic.

So yeah. If you're in a bind then I definitely recommend changex. I've had no issues with them whatsoever and I use their service at least once a month when I need to have USD right away.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing on altcoins... on: September 21, 2018, 05:44:24 AM
No I don't think any altcoin is worth investing into. There is a lot of scam coins and shitcoins that are beyond risky to put money into. You've got the overly inflated POS coins where if you get in to late you're basically screwed because it's more than likely to drop below 1 sat. You've got shitcoins that end up abandoned by their developers which then they either die out due to being removed from exchanges. That's just a few things.

When it comes to altcoins, you're best researching and looking how long it's been around, how many exchanges it's on, whether the developers are active and involved, it's volume, it's liquidity many other things to consider as well. For an example, dogecoin is an excellent altcoin. You never know where it's going. It's either sometimes between 20-100 satoshis, so basically whenever it's below 40 sats it's probably a good time to get in.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still HODL? on: September 21, 2018, 05:28:57 AM
Unfortunately yes, I still hold coins. There's a lot of pros and cons to holding coins. When they're up you don't want to sell them because you think they'll go up more, than you notice the price goes down again, and again you don't sell.. So really you're not making any profit if you constantly hold them. If you're mining POS style than that may be okay due to the returns you're getting.

I've had the unfortunate experience of not selling coins I've been holding when I should of sold them.. and I'm sure many other holders do the same with their coins. The best advice I have is when your coin is up 20-40% or more of what you paid...sell it, and when it goes down again buy back that coin if you like and keep making profit doing that. When you're mining POS you don't want to deposit your coins on the exchange cause of your inputs and ages and stuff lol.
