going to make some hard decisions very soon.

The mine was shut off by about 50%

Once ½ ing comes I will likely drop mine to under five pieces of gear. From over 85 pieces of gear.

got coin hodled zero debt. but it will be different not having a few hundred k in gear mining. ⛏️

What happened to the mine? 50% offline?

lost one of the two mining rooms in clifton, nj

we are in a smaller footprint. with about 22 units doing 1700th.

Sell the units! And buy Bitcoin! You had a good run!

Our friend @sabotagex from the Portuguese local board shared it with us and that's why I decided to bring it here so you can see how interesting it is. Will the halving block have a surprise like this? I had never seen this

Olhem só a maravilha do bloco 836361: https://mempool.space/block/0000000000000000000341cc26cda4af82cd25f7063c448772228cbf2836915b?audit=false

Explicação da própria Marathon:
This morning, we mined the M block on #Bitcoin – a visual demonstration of Marathon’s template building capabilities and vertical tech stack.

Blockchain indexers can visualize bitcoin transactions through square blocks and color gradients based on their transaction size and fee rate.

Because we own our own mining pool, we can craft the order of transactions in a block to create a form of “block art”, creating a custom graphic that can be seen by all through indexer websites such as http://mempool.space.

This new way to utilize #Bitcoin could present a wave of creative potential; however, we are not offering this as a service at this time.

Since we operate a private mining pool and we’ll continue to experiment new ways to innovate with #Bitcoin, we encourage the rest of the Bitcoin network to exclude our blocks from their FPPS calculations for more accurate miner fee estimates, even though our effect on FPPS may be minimal.
What is truly amazing is the dedication these mining pools have to advancing the understanding of bitcoin blocks/template and mining overall. To think they gave up 3 to 4 blocks just to work on this template! That is a true sacrifice! Hats off to them!

I might not understand what is going on exactly, when they are likely creating systems to receive payments outside of bitcoin's onchain incentive systems and they are mining empty blocks at the same time.  I am not going to presume benevolence and/or innovativeness when they are likely trying to suck folks into paying them to process transactions through their own private means...

Call me an uninformed skeptic.

Fuck Marathon.   Tongue

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

ummmm.... uninformed skeptic?... Tongue

Not sure about processing transaction through private means or what shenanigans there are up to, over at marathon, but the above has nothing to to with that, and i don't think there will be any real world applications... yet.. if there is, i can not see it... i just think it was awesome they had an idea, and knew it would cost them in loss earnings, and they still went with it... from my calculations, using their pool hash rate, they would have lost about $1.8m - $3.6m

you can commission a pool to paint an image.  the pool can assert you did it.

I think some will sell maybe a “Lets go brandon” image.

I thought about Nike having their swoosh mapped as a template, but the problem is how to you price it?.. there is no guarantee that a valid hash will be found for that image. This isn't anything like NFT in terms of fees to confirm...

Can you picture it, in a marketing meeting...

Nike: What is it going to cost us?...

Marathon: Not sure, we will start and once we confirm the block, we will work out how long it took and based on that, we will invoice you... could be $1.8m (1day) or it could be $180m (100days)...

Again, there could be something useful in the future, I just can not see it..... yet...

If the count is correct,
we could be very close to the beginning of an explosive movement
wave (iii) of the [iii] of the Minor3
3-3-3
the most explosive waves are usually 3

For minute there, I thought you knew what i had for lunch!!

I'm also surprised by the lack of attention given to this EW thread and its perspective. While I've never been a subscriber of TA, there's a certain allure to EW that I find compelling. Perhaps it's because EW delves into human emotions rather than just being about lines on a chart.

this next wave will be life changing, that's for sure!...

Keeps posting updates for us @xxxx123abcxxxx

How much bitcoin (in percent) do you guys have of bitcoin in your overall portfolio?

I have nearly 30%, which i always thought to be quiet large.. however, I have the feelings it should be more now. at least 50%  Cheesy

I have no shitcoins, just traditional investments.

I have so much to post, i just don't know where to begin!..

Friend.. Friend... and Friend

Friend of mine said I was lucky with Bitcoin, being in early... I looked at him and said, are you serious, you think i was lucky? you think this was all luck? I had to correct him and said i was smart with my decisions, it was written in black and white (pun intended)! not lucky, but smart. You should have listened to me, but here we are... The envy in their eyes are enough to show their true colours! It's amazing what financial insecurity does to people.

I've stopped talking about Bitcoin back in 2021/22, i actually was thinking about the passion i had when discussing the potential of Bitcoin and how you should be looking to accumulate and diversify into it! Was even talking to random seller of a Lambo back in 2018! now i only converse in minor conversation. Tend to throw out lines like, yeah still got some here and there... nah wouldn't have a clue where the price will be.

Another friend, he'd bought in near the top of the cycle in 2021. I was publicly shamed by him, I'll never forget that! What happened, Apparently, I was the bad guy because I let him buy at the top! What it showed me was he wasn't mentally ready to leave the mass! Didn't understand what long term investing is!

I've given up, it no longer my job to educate YOU (i mean the people i know)...

Been working on the 300ZX (Baby Lambo) on and off, learning so much about auto electrical/mechanical. The upper intake manifold/throttle bodies are cleaned and painted, injected and fuel rail repaired. Injector connector and coil pack connector replaced. Aftermarket Alarm and Imboliser ripped out! Rewired and repaired the wires the previous so called auto electrician had done!!..Dodgy as shitcoins! New Silicone hoses arrived last week. Was suppose to try and start the baby this weekend, but that didn't go to plan. Factors out of my control! Will have another crack at it this weekend!

Work has been super busy. Still trying to wrap up the outstanding projects i have in place. (even though i said wasn't going to, I've picked up another large client. Family of another client. Couldn't say no). Intentions are still there to call it day during this cycle! I figured i have some time left, mentally in a good place, for now and given how early we still are!

LN node is still soldering on. The congested mempool and high fees had once again slowed the growth down. Still have a few coins sitting idled on the LN node. Can't get myself to open channels at 30-40SAT/vbyte!

Congratulations to everyone who are still HODLing! To those who have just entered, remember you are buying for the next generation, think that way and ignore the noise and hype around you!

Maybe ATH this week or even today. I wanna reward my self for holding 11 years. But I don’t know what to even buy lol.

- Ask your mother what she needs.

- Buy a nice car next year.

- Refresh your wardrobe.

- Go on vacation more frequently.

- Pay off your debt if you have any.

- Get your own home ore even a 2e one for rental use.

- Ore don't sell any corn this cycle.
I like all your options, but I want to add this too;

- Give to Charity.

Charity, Charity or Charity The Stripper?

There are 60 million millionaires in the world.
If BTC were evenly spread amongst them, they could each have .35 BTC max.

Except ~5 million BTC are already lost forever...
Which means .26 BTC max per fiat millionaire.

And that's forgetting the corporations, insurance funds, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and nation states that will permanently remove millions of BTC from the market.
It's also assuming that current individual holders who refused to sell despite years of ridicule will suddenly decide to trade their entire stack for fiat.

Bottom line: Bitcoin is ridiculously scarce.

SOURCE: https://twitter.com/stackhodler/status/1716752338319221207

I consider a millionaire someone who is a whole-coiner in BTC, so has 1 BTC plus more to spare for spending in the future ideally.

Not some person who holds digital numbers for a dirty Mickey Mouse fiat system in a bank account or has an over inflated piece of real estate.

You may as well be a millionaire in holding 1 million toilet roles at home otherwise.

In fact the latter is probably more useful considering how quickly fiat is debasing these days.

Dirty Mickey Mouse fiat, I literally can picture Mickey Mouse trying to wipe his ass but the poop keeps coming no matter how many of the 1 million toilet roles he uses.
Poor Mickey, but fiat is what it is. Endless printing by a bunch of cocksuckers.

yeah i agree, those $100 bills can cause some nasty butt rashes!

@JayJuanGee @philipma1957 @ChartBuddy: When page parity? Need you to step up your game, price is running up fast! At this rate we need 309,900 post, or about 100,000 from each of you...

On another note, bought a hobby car, currently rebuilding engine (top half of engine), cleaning, repairing injectors and upper intakes. Taking up the bulk of my spare time!.. Lots of fun!

Can anyone tell what car it is from the engine bay photo?

I think its a Nissan, searching, late 90's maybe?

300zx?

I really don't know Japanese cars.

Come on SF punch that thing in!

Late 2019 Tesla Model 3 performance in black with white interior.

Were you able to read the serial off it or something?

1993 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo 2+0 Targa Top (Could be considered a Lambo.. Diablo does have it's two head lights)
