Thanks for the clarification. I was mistaken. Glad to hear that actually since ETH fees are through the roof right now. In any case, HBN doesn't need to follow the ERC20 route. I just honestly like some discussion around the token after what seemed like years of inactivity.

Shitcoins moving to erc20 tokens means
1) they cannot maintain their shit network
2) hopeless in getting to a decent exchange and even more hopeless getting BTC traded to their shit, therefore will attempt uniswap to scam people out of the next best thing out there which is ETH.
It is fun to watch how these lowlife cunts will go to great lengths just to dump their shit LOL
1. Network is "fine" as in it has been running for the last 10+ years. ERC20 isn't needed, just helps considering there is no development team currently working on HBN features + wallet. 2. Hm? Who are the lowlife cunts you speak of? Are you invested in HBN, would you like to assist in development? I'd be happy to provide a donation to help further development if you're that type of person. Any help is appreciated my man Keep pretending about 'fine' and 'just helps' ?? Helps to dump? LOL Keep pretending you don't know what i'm talking about..jeez you can't even count...10 years? hoohoo Talking about development?assist?donation? as if your shitcoin still matters? LOL A cat has more decency than you, it can bury its own shit. Yikes man looks like all you do is complain by your post history. Take a break from this shit.

Litewallet would be very welcomed. Anyone new trying to use the legacy style Bitcoin wallets are going to hate having to bootstrap the blockchain from scratch. Nice to see some development there.
I see your point on the rebranding and it is a valid argument against. Sticking to usage via NFTs and Smart Contracts is likely the way to build organic growth.
Again, if any assistance is needed with wording, UI/UX, branding, marketing, etc. let me know. I would be happy to assist where possible.
Lastly, are you (your team) responsible for hobotoken.com and hobonickels.io? If I see text/grammar errors or have suggestions should I just DM you?
Thanks for your reply @poke Yes, we are responsible for these website/service and every help is welcome. Please DM me on twitter @HoboNickels_HBN if possible. We are also observing Discord requests: https://discord.gg/e2JWNJTWe looking forward to you. Looking forward as well. I had a thought in regards to the token ratio question previously. DMD is going through a very similar upgrade from old Bitcoin style wallet / staking to an ERC-20 token. ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580725.17100) One of the things they're doing is "lost coins", those being non-claimed after a certain period of time will be forfeit and subsequently repurposed for new staking/burning/fees/whatever else you can think of. I think something like this is a way to allow the old Hobonickels blockchain to exist while the ERC-20 token can eventually separate itself entirely from having to deal with swap overs. I believe a SNAPSHOT would be required for this to work. Just thinking out loud here.

What is this exactly? https://hobotoken.comAnd then the burn address? Are you planning on converting this into an ERC-20 token? This has been a burn address for almost a year at this point, is it still valid? Hobo is an erc-20 token and hobotoken.com offers to burn HBN to get HOBO in exchange at 10: 1 ratio. Yes, its still valid. We still have exciting plans to develop on this and will come up soon with news. But, the next step by now will be the HoboNickels litewallet to be release. This should help newbies get on the train more easily. Stay tuned for more news soon. Great that sounds good to me. I assume the litewallet is for the ERC-20 tokens? I sent 100 HBN to the burn address to test it out. ERC-20 is rough at the moment with fees so hoping this is placed low priority. I was thinking there needed to be some improvements to the protocol and swapping to one with actual use might be the play. I am not 100% onboard with the 10:1 burn however with the cap still being 120 million. Hoping you have a clearly laid out plan for the tokenomics and rollout of the entire amount. Similar to how something like crowny.io has put together for their release. A nice pie chart showing the emission schedule / allocation. If you need any help please let me know. I have been a long time holder and staker of this coin. It has always been a fun little side project that I hoped one day would have a use case. If I am not mistaken Tranz always wanted it to be for donations? however as long as the coin has a low cost to send that can be a byproduct. I could see TX fees being burned/donated as well. Having a DeFi and liquidity purpose would also help boost adoption/use. Anyways, good luck! Keep us informed of your updates please. PS. A rebrand when all of the technology changes have been made might be wise. Hobo / HoboToken / HoboCoin don't exactly illicit positive thoughts for me. Does it mean something special to everyone?

Hello. I am looking for a little technical assistance. I experienced 2 power resets in a 2 hour time span because of a significant other. When this happens my DMD is usually corrupted and has to rebuild. This time it didn't work so I deleted everything but wallet.dat and tried to redownload the entire chain. This led to a few different issues
1. I can download the entire chain from zero but cannot put my wallet.dat into the folder. When doing so it will fail to load past the initial splash and instantly close.
2. I can download the some of the chain with my wallet.dat when doing from zero but it doesn't do the transactions right, ends up saying I have 50000+ DMD and crashes. When you try to reload, it either re scans and crashes on the same % every time (which varies when fully deleted and re downloaded) or does the same as #1 above.
I have tried using 3.0.1.2 and 3.0.1.3 and using the blockchain data available on github.
Anyone have any ideas for me?
Thanks

What's the current right chain to be on? Is there a block explorer website that's current? Thanks in advance!

Am I on a different chain for the 3rd time? Jesus what is going on. I keep going from a snapshot back in march and it keeps updating to a different chain than chainz. Is chainz correct?
It is at 5940110 I am at 5939314
At what point am I getting off track? Gonna try it again with a new conf and no peers.dat I guess

Ya honestly I am not sure why the downward trend with the way staking / masternodes is heading. Each stake generates less and less DMD so eventually we'll bottom out and supply won't be able to keep up with demand. At this point I am surprised there isn't someone eating up all of the DMD. Could be someone manipulating for low cost DMD. Either way, great for me to be able to buy sub $6.

If you know how to compile you can set your own combine/threshold parms. Otherwise you can only use up the max coded into the wallet currently. Oh that makes total sense! Thanks!

Cryptonit,
Since the Reactor for the DMD payouts was funded by us and currently sits at 88,311.89465848, what will you be planning to do with this DMD?
Please be as transparent and as detailed as possible. Everyone single DMD needs to be accounted for.
Lastly, is the reason for shutting down the reactor simply because it is too much for you to handle? Would you be willing to transfer the reigns to someone more capable of handling such a "large' operation? I believe this could be automated 100% and leave you out of it completely to maintain a constant flow of income for investors. Seeing something that was supposed to be in perpetuity come to a close is a failure I don't want to see happen.
what u mean by the reactor is funded by us? if u mean me and friends then u are right if u mean by the cloud u are wrong the opposite is true the reactor did and still do voluntary pay bonus DMD towards cloud once a month but the reactor is not fundet by the cloud 50% owned by me and around 50% of its coins where borrowed by other dedicated members of the foundation yes other people from community did also borrow coins to the reactor but all got them back already after the second year until soft shutdown is finished reactor will keep supporting payouts then we decide about its future together with the reactor coin owners if they want to break it appart and give coins back to owners or if they want to support a maybe in future created project i find it interesting how we over years got no thank you for give away the reactor stake income from our own coins for free to support the cloud but now voices arise like if the reactor is owned by the cloud and u have some right to get the reactor coins the population of the cloud did also change a lot where in the begin it was new people joining DMD where we helped them get hands on their first coins until they can stake them on their own which was a supportive role of the cloud and why reactor supported the project now in the last 3/4 year most new people abused the cloud instant selling DMD basically that means we give our reactor coin POS income for free so other people can instant sell them that too was a reason to stop the cloud not only we spend many many unpaid hours for this non profit project we additional support it with reactor POS income just to see more and more people started to abuse the project It's hard to find answers through 700+ pages. When were these funds given back if you don't mind me asking? I see from the previous announcements back in 2015 on the Reactor that it was paying out 4x what normal addresses can achieve. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580725.msg10293080#msg10293080 and https://bit.diamonds/community/index.php?topic=90.0 both show that. 1. Are slots still available? 2. Is the reactor still set at 4x normal staking rate? I want to say this changed back to normal when you introduced DMD 3.0 with Masternodes and those special addresses that were auctioned off at one point. Are those addresses still working at higher stake rates? What are the addresses for these if you don't mind. Chainz blockchain only shows the Reactor as being labeled. I think it's only fair that these special addresses be readily available. Any help finding them would be great.

Curious about something after seeing the HBN rich list. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/hbn/block.dws?5793649.htm Look at that transaction. How does this person not have their stake split in 2? https://chainz.cryptoid.info/hbn/block.dws?5784170.htmLooking at this transaction you see a normal split. What gives? I want the least amount of coin stacks in my coin control for better performance but any combine threshold and stake threshold gets limited to 2500 / 5000. ------- Other thoughts. What needs to be done marketing wise or technology wise for HBN. I'd love to assist and give my spare time to the things I am good at. Do we have a common goal we're striving for? I know it's to be the coin for donations for RedCross or something but we need more short term things to strive for as a community or the volume for HBN will stay less than .1 per day.

Just throwing a couple ideas out there that seem to be increasing the value of other coins. We can jump on this trend if it actually benefits the coin with more security.
Systemnodes - I recently learned about this from Crown coin. It boosted there active nodes to over 3000. Not sure what it was before, but it incentivized people to create and hold them active for a small stake. They actually payout more than their masternodes, which I don't personally agree with, however they use their nodes for the marketplace or something important for their system.
Masternodes - This could help lockup some of those richlist coins to further protect the network against a dump when the value increases. -Possible functions it could serve -Privacy (Dash, Pivx) -InstantSend (Dash, Crown)
Re-Brand The first thing that comes to mind with hobonickels for me is a hobo. Not the amazing art the coins are made into. I think the % of people who know what a hobonickel is, is actually quite small. We should think of rebranding to something similar to how Darkcoin - Dash did.
Coinswap? Recreate? Idk what to call it. Like how BCH did it. Snapshot based method by certain date. Re-create the current blockchain similar to how DMD did when they upgraded to 3.0. Their POS system also seems to work quite well without hogging many resources at all. Even before the upgrade their wallet ran quite well.
Thoughts? I would love to see this coin succeed and get to a $100M market cap.

Even if the team members are already trustworthy, it doesn't mean that there's a guarantee that this will be successful. The vision is great but the implementation is really complex. By the way, your pre-ICO price is already expensive, may I know what is the basis of having that price?
Expensive. Also the page is riddled with typos. Not something I want to invest millions into. I can count 6 mistakes alone not counting repeats. Please be wary.

I would love to start helping out where I can. Anything marketing / PR related would be up my alley. I can edit and review most content, especially in regards to grammar. Any tasks out there for bounties?

Hey all
Another question. What's the payout rate supposed to be for proof of stake? When I started, I got a payout within a day, and haven't seen once since, which was weeks ago. The wallet tells me that staking has indeed been active. How long should I be expecting to wait?
Thanks!
Make sure when you unlock your wallet you check the stake button as well. It took my first one a long time but since it has split it has been more consistent per day. It will eventually happen just give it time. It also depends on how much you have.
