3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin actually died ? Yes, more than 320 times already on: December 10, 2018, 11:18:41 AM
What does "die" means for bitcoin? I always see this kind of thread. I am not sure if they are just spreading FUD, for their own interests or whatsoever reasons. Is the death of bitcoin means going zero or no value at all or death means also decreasing its value to the most unbelievable downtrend? As for me, means no life at all or zero. If bitcoin goes to zero and people just neglect bitcoin this is the time that bitcoin really dies. Sonetimes i dont like to read the whole content of an article, its just creating confussion on me.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: If Facebook promotes cryptocurrency, would it positively promote it? on: December 09, 2018, 01:22:29 AM
Actually at this moment facebook is now banning advertisement regarding cryptos. So this is not possible at  moment. If ever facebook still promoting cryptos, i believe that developers will use social media to widely promote their products to consumers. Facebook maybe banning cryptos because it is used to spread scam. We all know that there are billion of users worldwide facebook have. This is a good opportunity to gather all the investors and these scammers will have a lot of chance to promote their products.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Going To Zero? on: December 09, 2018, 01:14:30 AM
Maybe the market is going down at this moment but it never says that everything is going to zero. If we just look back at the history of bitcoin, its decreasing its value but no data as its zero value. The decrease of value of bitcoin in the market is due to many factors that somehow have effect on it. Or maybe sone manipulation is taking place (this is just my speculation, not saying the 100% authenticity). Im not a pro in trading or in economics but due to the econonic crisis in some big and progressive country, somehow also affect the current situation of bitcoin and other cryptos.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: A Public Market is Turning 'Cashless' in the Philippines on: December 07, 2018, 02:35:22 PM
My update to my last post in the same thread. I just saw this in one of the advertisement of tge said apps and it so cool. I am thinking this is not very useful tho, because most of the people who but goods in the markets are most commoners and we can say that tech is not in their first priority. But thinking again, my mom is also now a techie and she buy her ingredients to the market. But she still uses her traditional way of paying, physical money. Maybe someday it will be widely use.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment. on: December 07, 2018, 02:27:30 PM
Indeed this is good idea and before hand they already starting this trend. But as to other countries (specifically the third world country) this is somehow be in a slow process. A few only is familiar with bitcoins and other cryptos and they needed to feed some information how it works. And also the transition from their normal paying method to online e currency is somehow hard to manifest. Although in our country digital mode of payment is used but with using the regular money. So hoping for new way for it. Lets wait and see
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency courses, thoughts? on: December 06, 2018, 04:30:47 PM
I heard it also that there are schools that teaches cryptos. At that time i am so.amazed that having a school for cryptos means it already have a big impact in that certain place. Somehow im a bit envy because we dont have it here in our country. Maybe because its still not used nationwide and we just still have the traditional lessons rather than teaching other methods. Luckily, there are some seminars that offer basic training for cryptos, but fir just limited time and slot.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: December 05, 2018, 02:59:22 PM
This is answered already with a good common sense. Bitcoin is something you buy with money. Good economy just indicating good pay for its citizen which they can be used in buying bitcoin and cryptos. I tell you that i belong to a third world country and most of the people here will just allocate their salary to the most basic needs. Investments is not part of the priority here. Most of us doesnt have the idea or at least learn the basic of investments. Only people who have the resources and money can have the opportunity to buy bitcoin.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Cosby buys 750 BTC on: December 05, 2018, 02:52:30 PM
Let them do whatever they want to their money, afterall they have the capacity to do it and thinking that they will have their investvent grow even more. It is not clear in your statement when is the exact date he bought bitcoin. Im just thinking whether he is now have his investment back or crying in the corner for his big loss. I just want to know how his financial adviser convinced him to invest in bitcoin, because it is really effective. Imagine 750 bitcoin ($5 million in the time of purchased is not a joke) is a big money and really help somehow to increased bitcoin price
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Banking is Dead… Long live Blockchain Banking! on: December 04, 2018, 04:17:31 AM
I guess not. Banks will not let this happen. If blockchain will be very useful and be worldwide use, banks will just adopt this new technology and innovate a new way how to use it more effectively. Also most of the people still seeking the traditional ways of banks because the are sure about the security of their money with. Let be honest, blockchain can still be penetrated by hackers because its still have its own weaknesses. But blockchain is still the future of banking and money.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even people in here now give up on Bitcoin on: December 04, 2018, 04:12:28 AM
Everyone has their own reasons on keeping their faith in bitcoin, and also you have also the reason why your very disappointed with bitcoin. Maybe you experienced a big loss and somehow this become your fear and you are just trying to help others by warning them the possibilities of the big falldown of bitcoin. Thanks for the concern, but you see its still their decision whether to hold it till the end. There are only possible outcome of this, to gain a lot or to lose a lot. Let them be and your opinion still matters.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is a "CULT" Just like Scientology - A Business Model to Steal Money on: December 03, 2018, 01:40:34 AM
What? Why bitcoin's name will be attached in religion? No one says it is... Where is this imagination of this non fact came from? Is this another FUD that want to destroy the image of bitcoin so it keeps on having a love value? Its your own opinion so i dont have the right to tell you what is wrong, but please be responsible enough to share your thoughts especially when it comes to religion. People have difderent insight and beliefs, some will be sensitive if religion is at risk. So dont compare blockchain and religion.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto adoption on: December 02, 2018, 10:27:36 AM
If crypto does gain massive adoption and you are able to pay for things in crypto, there would be less of a reason for people to cash out into fiat. How would government collect taxes from crypto gains then? Also, if something like ETH becomes big, how is the government gonna stop people from making pyramids, ponzis, and scams in general?

This probably why government still not implementing the usage of cryptos. This is one factor they are considering, that is why most of the countries still not open of having cryptos as their main way to use in payment physical or online. The process will take a lot of studies and debates just to pursue the crypto payment. Also, the security of it is also in question. Most of the hackers will also find ways just to take the advantage of getting the access of our wallets. So many answered in this topic, so i hope somehow enlighthen us.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: December 02, 2018, 07:06:41 AM
Im a holder too, not just bitcoins but also with other cryprtos. Maybe the other  cryptos seems to fall and will soon have no value at all but as to bitcoin, this is a different matter. Bitcoin is still the its number spot , maybe at this moment its really a mess for it but as history told itself, soooner it will have its comeback. Maybe not in a snap of our magic wand, but slowly baby step. Same with the other popular coins out there. It is just part of the movement of the market. Patience is still the best way to have.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: November 29, 2018, 01:30:56 PM
Its your own decision. You know that cryptos are risky term of investments and you already know the possibility of lossing investments. In the first place, why did you bought bitcoin at that price? Because you are thinking of gaining more because of the high potential of bitcoin. So, its much better to strategize in the future. This is a normal scenario in the market, you have the power to decide for your own. Its ok to blame something because you loss a lot but dont keep it too long and just continue.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: November 29, 2018, 01:16:52 PM
Ofcourse, they dont believe it and they keep on telling its just a scam. I cant blame them that time because i cant show a valid proof that bitcoin/cryptos are legit. So as time passed by and got my own earnings from cryptos, i am like a child bragging my "bag of candies" to my friends and like they are drooling and asking how to have it. So funny that people are like that but as the current situations of the market, i cant show off now. So i still waiting for the comeback of the future of cryptos.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: A Public Market is Turning 'Cashless' in the Philippines on: November 29, 2018, 02:00:48 AM
A great start. Indeed an easy way to pay digital. We all know that there are so ways to pay online with different marketing strategy. And i am one of that takingvthis advantages and it really give me a lot of savings. But as we all know, safety here is now a question. I mean, if i want to go to a public places like public market, i will not bring my phone due to security purposes. Not trying to give a bad impression but this is what really happens especially in this christmas season. But still, this is a very good start for us.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with Bitcoin made easier on: November 29, 2018, 01:54:34 AM
Not sure about it. Many countries still not favarable in cryptos. In my country, cryptos is not very restricted and only few still have the knowledge hiw to use it. But as to banks they are regulating it and they are not accepting opening an account with crypto related earnings. Having the idea of using this as a payment still a question. As of now, we can only use it in online store (we can even use it in underground/black market). I also watched some store in another country that accepting bitcoin but not sure if they still continue doing it.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Confirmed, bull run begins now, what expectations? on: November 27, 2018, 11:02:50 AM
The the thread is dated back then when bitcoin is still normal, but i think bull run iS still not starting till now. Everyone is waiting for especially the bitcoin now is relatively low. I am not sure if the decrease of bitcoin is just a sign that bull run almost there or maybe another speculations might happen. Everything in the crypto world is unstable and unpredictable. No one predicted that bitcoin's pruce will mark the $3.5k mark line. Many of us is losing hope but we can still ait till next year.
