Definately a ponzi scheme, price increases each time a person buys it and the site takes 10-12% profit on each buy except the last buy it looks like and the last person that bought it loses 100% when the price got high enouth that no one else want to buy it.
644  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earn 0.01BTC EVERY DAY WITH BTC CLICKS on: July 09, 2013, 10:51:09 AM
If you don't buy a membership you can at the moment get 0,000045 btc per day so it will take 22 222 days to earn 1 btc at that site if you don't have any refferals either. To be able to withdraw you need 0,01 btc so it will take you 222 days to get up to that so you can withdraw.

So they leave you with the option to "buy" a memebership and you will then be able to click more ads and at the moment you will earn exactly the same amout as it costs for a 10 day period back then, effectively you lending them 0,01 btc for 10 days and get nothing for the extra 20 ads per day that you have to click then, the only advantage with that would be that you can get your money out after 10 days(if the site's still around then) instead of 222 days.

Also there is not mentiond clearly what you earn from what people you reffered there clicks either, only that you will only get 50% of what a paying member gets from them. If they click a 0,000005 btc ad what will the person that reffered them get 100%/50% of that or maby only 1% or something ?

Basically it looks very likely that it's a pyramide/scam, either you can't get the little you earn out for a very long time or you have to lend them money and earn even less unless you generate them a lot of refferals.
645  Other / Off-topic / Re: Quickest way to make 0.05 BTC? on: July 09, 2013, 08:35:06 AM
If you already have some coins to start with and need to get 0,05 btc more, then you could always take a gamble and for example bet 0,1 btc and try to win 1,5x times the money back on one of those dice games(just-dice for example) with only 1% houseedge, 66% of the time you should succed with it then and end up having 0,05 btc more that you started with. That should probably be the fastest way atleast to accomplish the task.

Site seems down from pretty much everywhere, probably just some update to the site and it will be back up soon again.

Actually the projected time for all coins to be mined out is approximately 130(ish) years.
The official time is that the coins should be all mined out around 2140, but as the hashrate for a majority of time will be higher than the avg rate the previous 14 days or the difficulty will be raising most of the time, therefore there will be a slight overproduction of coins. 2016 blocks will be produced faster than every 14 days on avg so it will probably take quite a bit less than 27 years to produce all the remaining coins, so maby sometime between 2035-2037 or so there will be no more coins to mine.
That will not happen. It might be maybe 1-3 years before, with the current difficulty adjustment it would not be practical for all the coins to be mined 8x faster?

Oups, saw my misstake, i thought coins was supposed to run out in 2040 not 2140....
lets say sometime between 2118 and 2129 then instead, thats quite some time to keep mining coins then, not that people will produce any significant amounts of new coins the last years there thou...

649  Economy / Securities / Re: Vircurex may 2013 report, is this a joke Kumala ? on: July 08, 2013, 09:52:36 AM
Dividend has not been paid on time this month either, so 2 months in a row now that you haven't paid dividend on time.

From Vircurex contract with it's shareholders at Cryptostocks:
"Operation costs / Revenue / Profit The security listings proceedings will cover all operational expenses for the period of 3 years, hence all revenues will be net profit and paid out as dividends during that period.

Dividend The monthly net profit will be paid out as dividend, typically in the first week of the month. All issued shares are entitled to the dividend payment.......

..Special conditions The security issuer(Kumala 20 088 Stocks, 70% of the issued total of 28 700) will not be entitled to dividends for a period of 12 months after the listing. "

Vircurex has not published there monthly repport for June either that they should do at Vircurex site.

How are you running your company's(Vircurex and Cryptostocks) Kumala, why are you constantly breaking the contract with the shareholders you made at Cryptostocks and why don't you publish monthly repports that you informed the potential investors at Vircurex site that you would produce ?

With immediate effect, withdrawal fees of FTC, TRC, PPC, NMC have each been reduced to 0.01 respectively.
Thats good that the fees gets more resonable at (some of) the altcoins.

But what really would be more interesting to know is, why do you have such unrealistickly high fees on BTC withdrawals on both Vircurex and Cryptostocks site and when are you going to reduse them ?
0,01 BTC is just a joke when other sites have no fees at all or maby 1/10 at most of what you charge. Also for those people that transfer in (and out) lots of BTC at a time there really isen't any need to charge them any fees at all, those fees are only needed for those that transfers small amounts of BTC ofthen. So make the fees optional, then those that think they need to pay a small fee for there small transfers to go throu the network in resonable time can do so ?

Does anyone know how to get the minimum transaction sizes? Looks like it's around 0.018 for NMC/BTC which makes me think it's something different for every single currency pair.
No ide, it dosen't looke like one can find any FAQ page at Vircurex vithout logging in on there site, maby there isen't one even then....

Congratulations to passing 10 000 000 bets in around 12 days, very nice site you created dooglus.

SatoshiDICE as a comparison, was proud of having achieved 1 000 000 bets in there first 4 months....

656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitinstant question on: July 01, 2013, 05:12:25 PM
I bought my first BTC via Bitinstant.  I wanted to get the Coins quickly and without leaving home. I am in the USA.  It ended up that I paid $500 and got $4.85 BTC in my Blockchain wallet after fees and everything.  This was at a time when BTC was valued at about $96.00 at Mt. Gox.

It went through in a day and a half 3 days ago.  But the $500 is still in my bank account.

Does it seem like I paid a fair transaction fee structure, and when should the funds leave my bank?

How do I know when enough confirmations have gone through so that I know the Coins are really mine and good?

Finally--was there a better way to do this?

If I want to buy some LTC now, where should I do that?

Thanks.
I don't have a blockchain wallet myself but If the coins have shoved up in your wallet there and it dosent say unconfirmed or something less then 6 confirms you should be fine and can use the coins to whatever you want. Usually you get those 6 confirms in less then an hour or two after the coins are sent(and they shows up as unconfirmed with 0 confirms in the beginning) so i guess you should have enoth confirms by now.

Bitinstant is a strange company that seems to sometimes delay when transactions go throu to get a more favorable(for them) USD/BTC price i have heard from those that has used them. Options for buing BTC in the USA is kind of limited to so i understand some people use Bitinstant anyway even thou they isen't exactly instant....

But them not drawing the funds but giving you the coins i have never heard of happening before, but i guess they will see there misstake sooner or later and correct it.

5% commission would certainly work for most investors that put money in the site, 0,95% of the avg wagered amount is almost as good as 0,99%.

But lets just hope this isen't a first step in phasing out the investors, that with there btc's made it possible for dooglus to make the site to be such a success that fast.

I think it would have been pretty hard to get a 15 000 BTC loan in a normal bank or even in the btc-world for starting up a gambling site like this. Doogus would probably have had to start up with way less BTC in the house if he would have tried to get funding in other way and the growth and success wouldn't have been the same if the people from bitcointalk wouldn't have been involved that close for both investing and betting on the site.
Even if it would have been possible to get a large loan even at a relatively "low" interest in the btc world of 3% a month that would mean 450 BTC a month, and i guess not many people would take a that big gamble themselves on that a site would be such a success that it could payoff such big interest.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Invest in 1% House Edge Dice Game on: June 29, 2013, 10:39:49 PM
I keep hearing "I showed this site to my friend who knows about investments and he tells me it's a scam because the commission of 1% is too low".

I'm sick of defending myself, so am increasing the commission rate to 5% to hopefully reduce the number of times I need to have this argument.

The rate goes up after the commission run in 8 days' time.  So the "dodge" of divesting just before the increase to get charged at the old rate won't be necessary.

I doubt any serious person is complaining about the commision beeing to low, if that is the case then they can't count. If your friend who "knows about investments" tells you you run a scam, what kind of friend is he then....   If he "knows about investments" then it looks more like he wants you to take a bigger piece of the cake instead.

The site has had 28 500 BTC in bets in around 10 days sofar and the avg per day now is higher than the first days and one can expect it to go up in the future, but lets use those number anyway.

It's then 85 500 BTC wagered in a month, expected profit for investors 855 BTC(before comission) and around 8,55 BTC in commision to the owner, thats around 850 usd at 100 USD/BTC. One also has to expect that the site owner has invested some in the sites capital himself to.
Lets say you have 1% of the investments to, then thats another 8,55 BTC to you, so 17,1 BTC or 1710 USD per month in total at the moment for the owner of the site and probably way more in the future. Pretty sure the 1% commision is enouth to pay for servers and advertising costs and still give the owner a nice profit.
A commision of 5% instead would mean 42,75+8,55= 51,3 BTC or around 5 130 USD per month for the owner instead.

If the sites monthly wagered amount for example grows to 10 times bigger in the future then the site's owners would get 171 BTC/17 100 USD at 1% commision. At 5% commision that would be 513 BTC/51 300 USD.

Surely 1 700 USD at the moment and maby 17 000 USD in the future should be enouth to make the ones that doubt that the site is legit to change there minds.
So unless you, the owner has changed your mind and wants more of the profit for youself then 1% is surely enouth and there's no need for 5% commission, neither to pay for the sites cost or to convise people that it's not a scam.
