161  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FREEWallet.org is a SCAM on: April 05, 2019, 06:09:09 PM
The basic security tips would suggest no particular stages of the verification process could be ever rendered on the public source.
That's right I'm not asking you to conduct the verification process in public but at least let us know why his account was blocked and why suddenly you blocked his account when the withdrawal was requested?  I wonder why all the security procedures come into picture when a debit is requested?

We'll be glad to notify the community about the resolved status of this case; just keep up with this thread.
Cool. I'll remove my feedback after the issue is resolved.

Please note that the account isn't blocked but withdrawals are temporarily suspended for security reasons as suspicious activity in the account has been detected. At the moment we are awaiting for all the necessary data to be provided by the user.

Kindly stick with your support ticket, we'll advise you the best possible solutions.
Don't advise him the best possible solution, just give his money back! And that is the best possible solution. I instantly hate a service that wants to operate on bitcointalk but also don't want to keep their operations transparent. If you're taking a conversation away from Bitcointalk that means you're hiding something. Negative feedback left.

Hello,

The basic security tips would suggest no particular stages of the verification process could be ever rendered on the public source.

REEWallet.org is a SCAM!!
Scammers site Link:https://freewallet.org/
Amount Scammed:120,000 USDT

Freewallet is a SCAM.
They use all the unusual activities as an excuse to steal the userís money.
I have provided screenshots of all trading blocks and transactions.
They are looking for various reasons to verify me, and the requirements are very unusual.
I submitted
ID card, hand-held ID card photo, bank card, bank statement, handheld APP ID photo, 2 inch photo, utility bill

To ensure the security of the account, why does registration do not require so many frequent authentications?
We use the FREEWallet account to have a digital currency to perform frequent security authentication.

Hello wanghenlen,

No worries: your account is totally safe. We are running the verification procedure and reviewing the documents you've sent. Thanks for providing us with extensive information on your account, it helped a lot.

Thank you for your reply
I have missed the BTC growth and have already lost a lot.

Um, but you can get all of that elsewhere and more and never have to trust anyone.

I'm sure you're all lovely people. Your service still does not make one shred of sense to me in the slightest in this day and age, nor should it to anyone else.

Hi gentlemand,

Well, you are absolutely free to share this point of view. Along with that, our service makes sense for millions of users. Smiley
167  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freewallet and Stellar? on: March 25, 2019, 11:09:30 AM
After thirty or so posts I still can't detect any possible advantage to total dependence on the integrity of internet strangers for the existence of your money. 'Fast support' doesn't quite get me as erect as I was expecting.

Hi gentlemand,

We'd summarize it like that:

- A wide choice
- Advanced security
- Convenience

We offer the most popular coins with the in-built exchange function. Several hundred tokens - and more of them are coming.
Our users enjoy multiple security features (2FA on login and transaction, PIN code, email confirmation of transactions) and convenient interface.
(And our support is indeed fast.Smiley

Hi gentlemand,

We believe 3 mln of users find certain advantages in our service, such as multiple security features, easy in-built exchange, plenty of coins to operate with etc. The main benefit is, however, fast and efficient support service.

" The main benefit is, however, fast and efficient support service."  Really? Should this be the case?
Why should I be using a service which is proud because of its fast and efficient support service? This means many users are having problems with your service and you people are helping them very well. But my question is why do you not work towards reducing or totally eliminating the problems but you are rather  solving the problems on time?

Hi sammyp,

We are getting your point. Indeed, the mentioned advantage (fast support) does not mean that we neglect technical enhancement.  Cool

UPDATE

nag email sakin ang sender platform
At sabi irerecheck nila at irerevert
I dont know po kung ano ibg nilang sabihin sa revert
Nababawi pa ba ang nasend na?
What da..revert it means pababalikin nila? How come? once you can make a transaction on blockchain hindi na yan mababawi unless kung sa kanila yung receiver. It's clearly obvious they are a very shady wallet. Maybe they allowed to cash out a small amount, not a huge amount. I remember in my case before when I used Freewallet.org and until now my token there can't retrieve.

Just keep update on their support team, or tell them you make a scam accusation against them in all social media where you can drive traffic.  Cheesy

Hi Shane,

What do you mean by 'shady'? We asked you several times to provide us with more details about your issue; the token you've been waiting to retrieve, User ID, support ticket number.

Like many people, you go by the strategy 'if I threaten to post on social media, I will get attention and a faster resolution'. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way at Freewallet. Most of our cases come through our Support Center here: https://bit.ly/2rgGdRw where our engineers follow up with each request within minutes. We have a strict policy about case handling and do not mark urgency on where the request comes from. Everyone is equal and every request is important.

By spamming, accusing, making assumptions, threatening, etc. you don't speed up a resolution. On the contrary, you take the resources and time that could go into resolving cases and improving our service into responding to assumptions.

If you would like us to look into your case, let me know at lauren@freewallet.org.

PS: this is what you replied to our offer for assistance in retrieving your token:
'UPDATE: I checked the value of the coins inside address but it looks like turn to shitcoin, I am now lost of interest.' here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5109433.new;topicseen

Hi iam_aayushiJ,

So far, we have not heard from you back.

Please provide the details of your issue, or we'd deem the current thread as the one that aims to give the wrong impression of our service.

I can't even log in anymore and the one experience I've had with Freewallet was pretty terrible.

I used your service once to get a payout from Minergate, only to find out that I couldn't withdraw my Monero because your added fees were too high.

Hi!

Just wanted to follow up if the issue has been resolved.

Let us know if you have any questions and we would appreciate your update.

Thanks!

Thanks for pointing this out, I might want to try it but after seeing this post I will stay away from it for now. It's always better to use much better wallet that has a good reputation and you have a control to your private keys.

LbtalkL, we are also working on a solution (with one of our apps) that would allow one to have control over private keys.
In the meantime, we are doing our best to offer high-quality service and address each issue being reported.

Best regards,
Freewallet

I got scammed by FreeWallet my Monero coins are not showing in my wallet, when I reached out to them they told that they never received the coins. I also have given them the transaction hash for the exchange I did for BTC to MONERO.

I also noticed that r/monero on the monero sub reddit has listed FreeWallet as a scam. Anyone else faced a similar issue?

Hello iam_aayushiJ,

Please accept my apologies for getting back to you so late.
Would you please send me more details about this situation via the private messages?

P.S. The most probable reason why you've never received the coins under this transaction is that your amount was below the minimum allowed amount.
However, we'd love to consider the possibility to recover this transaction.

Best regards,
Freewallet Support

I never used this wallet because you are not the one who hold the private keys only. I think this Freewallet.org need more year(s) to build trust because I also noticed that there is a bunch of complaint regarding their service. People choosing secured wallet because that is not a joke if you stored your fund out there. As I noticed, why there's generate address? so if you accidentally click that your previous wallet is gone?

Capt00, we absolutely agree that it takes years to build a credible service. This is exactly our goal.
There are indeed a lot of complaints that we do receive as an active service. At the same time, there are plenty of reviews from happy customers.
The situation with the "gone" wallet is impossible: we'll do everything to restore your access. We are proud to day that we never had such cases.
