what the heck., I still not receiving my withdrawal from cryptohub,. can someone from the pool explain?
I did a small withdrawal from them and got it within a few mins. So I'm guessing cryptohub is on one chain and your wallet is on another?

Hey guys, I haven't been paying attention to my cryptopia account and see I have a bit of XLR on there. I see it's being delisted for a coinswap, could someone please link me to a post on what I should do to do the swap? EDIT: read the first post now sooo: 1. I download the wallet 2. create myself an address 3. Plug that address into https://solaris.swapyourcoins.today/4. Withdraw my coins from cryptopia to that address sound about right? Your step 3 and 4 can be read a couple of ways so to make sure 3. Put your new wallet address on the website, It will then give you a DIFFERENT address to send the old coins to (not your new address) 4. Send them to that account and then shortly after you will get the same amount of coins sent to your new wallet's address that you gave at the beginning of step 3.

Hello everyone,
First of all, sorry for a noob question but I can't find it on the website or anywhere.. What is the port for crypto.n-engine.com, obviously for desire mining?
Cheers

Is it still as profitable to mine XLR as it is to mine Eth? Can we still mine the old algo and convert to the new?
Depends on the card you mine with, A 1080 or 1080ti you are better off mining XLR over Eth (although there are more profitable coins). You can still mine the old algo and convert to the new one (can swap until 6th Dec). edit* I'm not saying it's just a 1080 or 1080ti that you are better off mining XLR but these are the only cards I have so know for sure they are.

Hey guys, thank you very much for the masternode tutorial, i followed it and managed to run mine. So far so good its working without any issues, but i have some questions regarding the wallet when you run the masternode. If i send coins from my wallet that masternode is in it, will it takes the coins from the 1000 XLR collateral? Are the masternode collateral locked?
Few examples:
1. If i have 1340 coins and i want to send 350 what will happen? 2. If i have 1340 coins and send 340 exactly from where will it take the fee? 3. If i have 1340 coins and want to send 200, does it know to not touch the masternode collateral?
The questions maybe are stupid, but i never had wallet with masternode collateral in it and i'm not sure what i'm allowed to do.
If you go to settings/wallet/options then tick the enable coin control features then click OK Now go to Send and then inputs then on your masternode if it HASN'T got a padlock beside it then tick the box and click 'toggle lock state' and then OK and it should then have a padlock by it, If it already has one then you don't need to do it. This should stop those coins from being sent and it will use others, I've not tried sending anymore coins that would leave me less than 1000 but I've sent them down to just over 1000 and it's always used the other coins and not masternode collateral when I've done the above. I believe you will need to do the opposite to the above to unlock the (masternode) coins so you can sell the coins if you wanted to do that later down the line.

i have made tiny mistake i send 1000 and then arrived 999.90 after that i send to the same adress 5 coins, and then i send the remain coins to coinsmarket now i have exactly 1000 in my wallet does it matter? (waiting for 15 conf in the meantime) and does it matter if i mine in the same wallet on different adress? Do you have more than 1000 desire in your wallet right now? May be you will create new address for MN, send to this address exactly 1000 from your wallet to your wallet - and don't forget to write commands in wallet console to receive answers. I mining to wallet - it's normal to accumulate your coins on your computer. ok im have exactly 1000 on my wallet, i have the Not capable masternode: Could not connect to 79*******:9919 problem question, does that mean the stetp one 1000 coins is ok? and now i have to do something with my router *wich i have never done before? could you guide me a bit? i will send you 10 desire coins (this is what i have except the 1000) If I've read that right then you have exactly 1000 coins but you didn't send them in 1 transaction, is that right? you topped up to make it exactly 1000?, If that's the case then I'm pretty sure you have to send it so you have exactly 1000 coins in 1 single transaction, no more no less

XLR Xevan is already the coin on coinmarkets.com . It's coinexchange.io that is having the swap on Nov 1st.

staking is not active ? I have mature coins. Win wallet64-qt latest ver.
POS doesn't start until block 259201 which is a good few months away.

What is the annual rate at Solaris Xevan POS?
You can check that out at mnrank.com. That's your best bet since the ROI changes depending on the number of masternodes running on the network question about POS, not MASTERNODE ROI POS is a fair few months away yet.

So I've tried setting up my masternode on my own as much as possible, using the guide, and after troubleshooting a few things myself I've hit a wall.
I'm logged in on my VPS, I'm viewing it in Terminal through ssh, I'm in the solaris directory, I've gotten and compiled both the linux64 daemon and qt, and every time I run ./solarisd it tells me I haven't configured my solaris.conf but I have. I can see solaris.conf when I ls and I can edit it and it has all the right info, but solarisd insists I haven't set it up.
Did I create it with the wrong permissions?
My VPS is running debian jessie 64bit. Thanks to anyone who can help, I'm so close to getting my first masternode up and running.
Is your solaris.conf actually a conf file???. I've seen many occurrences where people have added a solaris.conf file but forgot to select ALL when saving the file and have saved it as a .txt file (default is this) so it's called solaris.conf but its a .txt file which is incorrect even tho it is called solaris.conf.

so 1 masternode = 1000 xlr so that will be 0.22 btc for a masternode , i am almost sure that this will be profitable with some great development what will happen after the swap
With the recent spike in BTC price, I sold my XLR. It's currently way more profitable to put money into BTC than have it in alts, even with masternodes. I'll buy back once the altcoin carnage has stopped, but if and when BTC surges to $10K, alts will bleed like crazy. If I understand correctly XLR on coinsmarkets.com is on new blockchain (XEVAN) and those coins shouldn't be sent to coinexchange.io for the swap? Can anyone share master node experience? Is wallet/MN stable? How much coins can be earned per day? Is MN giving XEVAN coins? And just to give my five cents for exchanges. Nova would be great for this coin. But, please avoid Yobit. It will run the coin. Sorry for asking all these questions. Probably they are in the thread. I read maybe last 7-8 pages, but didn't find answers on all my questions Thank you. 1) That's correct no need to swap as they are Xevan already. 2) Had no problems with wallet/MN, Around 3.4 coins a day although this obviously keeps falling as more masternodes share the rewards, MN gives Xevan coins yes

I downloaded the new wallet and transfered my old XlR to the new wallet. My question is how do i stake them?
POS with the new coins doesn't start until block 259201 (currently on block 13884) so it will be a little over 5months I believe.

Hello guys I'm run my Masternode on VPS server Are not Necessary to run Masternode with my computers at home, right?
You don't need to run masternode on your home computers. It's fine running them on a VPS, In fact most recommend that you do run on a VPS.

How do masternode rewards work? Been looking at the masternode winners and a lot of the time the same wallet gets 2 blocks in a row. (unless I'm reading it wrong or it's being shown wrong on masternode winners via debug window) Blocks 9825 9826 9827 9828 9829 9830 9874 9875 9877 9878 9885 9886 9888 9889 There are more as well just listed those ones, Just seems strange if that is the case.

Does anyone know what the current price of xlr is? i look at coinmarketcap and have the feeling its the old xlr not the now one? last price was around $.63c or .00011201btc? still round there or not?
The new one is not listed at exchanges yet so you can only go by the old one and the prices you have mentioned are the most recent ones.

hello, bought solaris on coinexchage.io, do i need to undergo the swap process too? thanks.
Yes the ones currently on coinexchange are the old (Nist5) ones , So you will need to swap them for the new ones.

Can't comment for everyone else but I'm getting
Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to cryptohub.online port 3032: Timed out.. retry after 30 seconds, Having the same issue on Wyvern and Q2C as well and never had the issue before on there.
Seems strange. I was connected to WYV pool today, now connected to XLR and don't see any problem at my pool. Yeah I had been mining there for a while with no issues at all, and then suddenly it's stopped working and I get the Stratum timeout error, Like I said before I can choose other places to mine and it works fine so I can't see it being a firewall issue. I've even tried another version of ccminer and the gui miner which sits at 0 all the time. Only other thing I can think of is for some reason I've been banned maybe? , If so I've no idea why that would be the case. Banning is disabled at stratum conf.... maybe DNS problem? you can try direct ip 78.46.227.52 Nice one the direct IP seems to have fixed the issue.

1500 XLR for a masternode seems good for me Btw, where are all miners of cryptohub.online gone? I'm not sure.... the pool was down a little bit a couple of days ago, but there were more people mining last night on Cryptohub. Maybe they all went to Yiimp? The pool seems to be working right now from my end anyways. I don't remember when it was down, my server should have 100% uptime. I just don't understand why the people don't use my XLR pool with 0% fee and prefer other pools Can't comment for everyone else but I'm getting Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to cryptohub.online port 3032: Timed out.. retry after 30 seconds, Having the same issue on Wyvern and Q2C as well and never had the issue before on there. Sounds like your miner is blocked by firewall. That's what I assumed was happening here but the same miner works fine elsewhere.
