Hey all! I'm Dave, also from Bit Dominion. Here’s how you can buy a Neptune with us. It's safe and secure, we do not handle your money, everything is sent directly to KnC Miner. Once the order is placed (before payment is sent), the shipping address is locked in and cannot be changed. - 1. Perform your due diligence and make sure you’re ready to buy! At least give this a read if you haven't already.
- 2. Send us your shipping information to provide to KnC Miner.
- 3. Once the order is placed, your shipping address will be locked in. We will send you a screenshot of this for confirmation prior to any payment.
- 4. Choose your method of payment: Bitcoin via Bit Pay, or wire transfer.
- a. If you wish to pay with Bitcoin, we will send you the link to the Bit Pay checkout and this will be active for 15 minutes. If you don’t make it in time, no worries! Just let us know and we’ll send you a new link. See the below for a sample Bit Pay page…
- b. If you wish to pay with a wire transfer, follow the KnC Miner instructions here.
- 5. Once payment is received by KnC Miner, your order status will update and we will send you a screen shot of the complete purchase (wire transfer takes a few days to process).
- 6. Any updates KnC Miner sends us, we will forward on to you ASAP.
- 7. Your Neptune will ship to your address provided, and when the big day comes and tracking numbers are sent, we will send those to you immediately!
- 8. Once received, we would be happy to assist with any setup issues you may run into.
We're aware that with our low post counts, you may wish to verify our identities or otherwise be reassured this is not a scam. PM myself or Jordan, we will provide you with our phone numbers and we can have a chat. We also are active members with our local Edmonton Bitcoin meet up group and have met with several trusted members of this forum, most notably soniq and d'aniel will vouch for us. If you have any other questions, let us know! Dave

Funny coincidence. I actually emailed them yesterday with a list of reasons why accepting Bitcoin via BitPay would be an easy and free way to accept Bitcoins without actually touching them. I got this response today: Hi Dave,
Thanks for your email and for your suggestion. We are aware of bitcoin, and we will continue to monitor it with interest. Please note that we also tend to avoid donations made from outside of the payment methods we've integrated with. The accounting nightmare we would be inflicting upon ourselves if we simply created accounts with every payment processor we don't integrate with would cost us much more in administrative costs than your generous support.
Thank you again for your support, and please let me know if you have any further questions!
Sincerely, Joanie Seeing as BitPay would set them up for free with their API, and they would still essentially be accepting USD via BitPay (which I clearly explained), this response made no sense to me beyond her not reading/understanding what I was explaining. For those thinking BitPay charges 0.99%/transaction, they actually wave this for charities. Anyway, I fully support this idea and will donate some BTC via John K. if he comes on board!

I have a HIS Radeon 7970 and a HIS Radeon 7950 that I will sell. Both were bought in April, all packaging is like new, receipts available, and the cards were used for mining for 2 months. They were not overclocked and were run in a cool garage. I've had no stability issues with these, but have stopped mining now and they are overkill for the gaming I do. If you're interested, PM me an offer.

I live in Canada and am anxiously awaiting my batch 3 Avalon ASIC. To those who have received one in US or Canada, did Customs charge you a ridiculous amount upon delivery?
I recently ordered a $200 item from China and Customs charged me a 17% fee. I'm hoping that I'm not faced with a $1000 charge when this thing comes in.

Instead of paying you the cost of the ASIC, kncminer will let you transfer the preorder to another by emailing them my address, would you consider doing this?
If so, I'll bid 2 BTC for the presale
With escrow if possible

Does anybody know if customs charges importing fees on Avalons? If so, what value would it be based on considering it was paid in BTC?
Can anybody who has received an Avalon in US or Canada comment on this?

How about a forced 5-10 minute tutorial to watch that outlines rules, member ranks, what scams look like, don't be a douche, etc. Have a quiz at the end to ensure uptake of information, if you fail more than once, then you go to newbie jail.
Maybe not a great solution, but shorter than the current limits and good for those who lurk for months, then sign up to buy an auction (...cough cough).

I want to start by providing local BTC courses for beginners to increase access of interested parties who lack computer knowledge or are otherwise looking for more information. I think there is a barrier of access to Bitcoin in the technically un-savvy.
