2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash: Similarities and Differences on: September 13, 2019, 07:32:41 PM
A good article but i don't agree to call them all to have the similarities caused by the fact that litecoin and bitcoin cash just a clone from the bitcoin that has already created used the open-source bitcoin code. Litecoin and bitcoin cash is ont suitable to be called as a similar coin to the bitcoin and both can be considered as clones of bitcoin and this include the ethereum too.
if you are reading the whole history and the smartcontract has started from the bitcoin open source.
In conclusion, altcoin is a clone version of bitcoin with the improvements on its protocol but it's not much better as bitcoin.

Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash have only one similarity - they are both Bitcoin forks. However, now, Litecoin is trusted more (thanks to its "father" mostly), and it is called digital silver. Bitcoin cash managed to lose popularity, although many believed that it is a "real Bitcoin".
However, I guess both of them will survive is a new crisis in the cryptocurrencies market begins again.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott the Facebook Coin (Project Libra)? on: September 13, 2019, 07:24:26 PM
Actually if you don't like the Libra project, you are enough not to buy or invest with it, because the Libra project will come to color the Crypto world, they are ready to compete with other Crypto projects. I personally not want to invest in this project, but we must accept this fact gracefully.

For sure, nothing will be changed if we buy Libra or not. Many people are already interested in getting this cryptocurrency, and they even do not care about their privacy - simply libra for them is the best chance to run away from inflation.

I guess, no one will ban Libra as FB team is very powerful, and the richest companies have already supported Facebook and its great project.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: 2017 vs 2019 on: September 13, 2019, 07:13:01 PM
Guys, I think earlier than 2020 with ethereum nothing really will be decided as well as its cost will be at about the same level as now.

Ethereum is the perfect variant to invest in. ETH team has surprised everybody already. We can hear about the launch of the test network this month already. It will work for 3-4 months before the deployment of the main network. There, users will be able to transfer their Ether through a deposit contract. The estimated launch date for the main net is January 2020.
However, these are just updated information about Ethereum 2.0.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new traders are playing to lose on: September 12, 2019, 07:48:23 AM
new traders do not have mature knowledge and they think trading will benefit quickly, even though it's not as easy as they think. in my opinion trading requires mature knowledge and patience in observing price charts. although it is very risky but also profitable if you win in trading.
New traders are hasty to earn money before get knowledge and experience from old traders. The result is blatantly obvious, they are playing to lose, nevertheless, new traders are new traders, it is simple. It is not easy than expected. Step by step you will learn without knowledge it is so risky to trade. No pain no gain. If you decide the learning to trade, you must be patient.

Beginners, as a rule, give preference to trading with one asset they like, while not paying attention to other cryptocurrencies. However, it should be remembered that the market is never just rising or falling. In those moments when your favorite asset is down, other alts can offer excellent opportunities for profit. Therefore, traders using a diverse portfolio get more profits
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram Open Network TON on: September 12, 2019, 07:44:26 AM
I have been following the TON project and the work of Pavel Durov for a very long time. I like this guy and what he does. I would very much like to be part of what he does at least as a Gram investor. His project has great prospects, this is a real revolution, let's see it.

Given the fact that Durov managed to achieve crazy success first with his "Facebook brother" called VK, and then with the Telegram messenger, it can be assumed that TON and the GRAM cryptocurrency will enjoy no less popularity. However, only time will tell us what will happen. There is too much hype about this project and its author, and it can be both a harmful and a beneficial moment.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin today on: September 12, 2019, 07:40:51 AM
i think this is the first time Altcoins MAKE moves. the first time alts shows a green market while bitcoins remains stagnant.the first time in the year altcoins shows a sign of recovery. while bitcoin maintain a steady price. how long can we see altcoins maintain this recovery phase. it is necessary to reduce bitcoin dominance.
I think in the next few months the dominance of Bitcoin will tend to decrease and other coins will be able to grow well in the near future so please wait patiently. I believe this year is a year to prepare for big investments and certainly 2020 will be a time of great volatility. Now altcoins are very cheap and if you choose a good project to invest then your profits can be huge

A sharp increase in the dominance of Bitcoin has been observed only during the last three-four months. Crypto experts do not exclude that in the short term, the level of this cryptocurrency dominance may continue to grow up to 71-72%, which will be the top point. However, later a decrease is inevitable because more investors will renew their interest in buying altcoins at very low prices.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is that the real Libra? on: September 09, 2019, 02:53:44 PM
The fact is that Libra does not need to be taken seriously today, since this project is not destined to come true.  I think that not only the government of the United States of America will counteract this.

Libra still has many problems with the USA government. Analysts also said that the development of the ecosystem of Libra and operating expenses for network maintenance should be covered by the profitability of the reserve, however, most of the assets in the reserve currently show negative returns. It makes the whole system unstable.

Meanwhile, Facebook has time to improve everything and get rid of mistakes.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in XRP? on: September 09, 2019, 02:40:23 PM
Tried to figure it out which much higher profitability XRP or Bitcoin or with BNB and ETH. We are not just talking about what we can get for a short term but instead to look for a long term period.  If that you see that XRP is much profitable with you,  then you must go for it.  We all have different appreciation toward XRP and for me... I won't keep XRP..

XRP has good potential, but for me it doesn't always last long because in my opinion it isn't suitable but I prefer ETH and BTC, as long-term investments.

I would stay away from investments now. On September 19, Ripple needs to answer in court on charges of trading in illegal securities. Another lawsuit has been filed against the company from investors in XRP, who demand to equate cryptocurrency to shares.

If Ripple is unable to fight back the charges, then those who have sued will take their money and maybe even with a good percentage. Everyone else will be in an extremely deplorable situation because exchanges can begin mass delisting of XRP so as not to mess with regulators.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sleeping giant altcoins on: September 09, 2019, 02:23:50 PM
You should invest in the top currencies in the market, which are good and stable currencies. The coins that gained 1000% were mostly scams.

As I do remember, some statistics informed that 11 altcoins only (I mean those that gained a lot) tuned out to be good tokens, not scams. I also support the idea that top-rated altcoins should be trusted more. At least, this approach will reduce the risk to lose money if you decide to invest in crypto. For me, the best gainers in the future, are Lisk, OmiseGO, Huiobi Token, NEO, and Icon.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra vs. Bitcoin - What's the Dif? on: September 06, 2019, 04:55:10 PM
Bitcoin has the most demand for identity hide. Some transaction is easy by identity hide. As Libra if you want to send money will easy from FB. I would like Bitcoin rather Libra, only few people will do by Libra.

What are you talking about. Cryptocurrencies do not have demand for identity hiding. People and users do. I know the Bitcoin user community and none of them want to hide their identities. They would very much like to protect their privacy and personal data that is all.

You want to send easy money from FB? Why? Why not easy BTC p2p? Cheaper, faster, no blockages.

The main differences between 2 of them are the following: BTC is decentralized, and Libra is centralized, stable, having a team that will control it.  BTC transactions are anonymously recorded in the blockchain. Libra also uses a blockchain form in which it will be necessary to obtain authorization (permissions). This approach means that transactions can only be made by a group of proxies.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP and BCH on: September 06, 2019, 04:25:55 PM
Welcome to the crypto world. Hope you enjoy trading in this world. Both of the coins that you mentioned are really great as far as trading goes. Just be careful not to invest all in one place and beware of the deeming damages too that this business brings with it. Just do your proper research before investing your time and money in one place.

If only these 2 cryptos are compared, I will never choose XRP, especially now. China and the United States are trying to challenge by making their national currencies cheaper. Ripple actually does the same thing, sets for itself the XRP rate that is profitable for today. This is the analogy that there are decentralized cryptocurrencies where the price is determined by the market. Here, the interests of the management company will always be in the first place. Ripple might not grow much.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot Altcoins on: September 06, 2019, 04:22:51 PM
For me, Ethereum is the best altcoin.
This altcoin is reliable and I am sure that it will bring success to the market participant who invests in it.
In general, coins from the top 5 are where to invest without fear of losing everything.

OmiseGO, which is also connected with Ethereum is a very "hot" altcoin, although it is not so new. This cryptocurrency provides opportunities for users, suppliers, and sellers to easily transfer money worldwide, any network, using any currency, without a bank account. However, there is a “but”: since June, the project has a serious rival - the Libra cryptocurrency by Facebook, aimed at implementing a similar payment system and the same audience.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Calm Before The Storm on: September 05, 2019, 09:06:43 AM
this is on a tiny scale so your "storm" looks more like a small wave in the vast ocean.
the only thing positive about this news and all the others like it, is that they are showing how bitcoin's adoption in the real world as a currency is still ongoing. despite the fact that people sometimes think bitcoin is an investment to make them rich we still see the real world adoption of it for payments,... and they are decently popular.

Really, it is fancy to call these events a storm. However, cryptocurrencies will be finally adopted everywhere. This year has shown that millions of people now are convinced that using crypto is more convenient and beneficial than using traditional money (it refers to everything, including transactions fees).

I suppose each one should have a crypto wallet now (or even several of them).
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No matter what i'm sticking with Altcoins on: September 05, 2019, 08:57:01 AM
Only few of the altcoins are doing well on the market these days. They rise steadily when BTC is experiencing a bull but drops sharply when BTC is dropping. Investing in Altcoins these days require some expertise before one can gain from the market

It will be strange to guess that all altcoins will die only because of Bitcoin domination. Compare BTC with the dollar (talking about fiat). The USD is a true dominant, but it does not mean that national currencies of other countries are not needed. Simply, they can be always replaced with the American currency, and with a good profit. So, BTC will lead always, but alts will also live and work.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need regulation pretty bad on: September 05, 2019, 08:53:05 AM
no we don't need regulations at all and the worst part is that regulation is not going to solve anything in the way you think they are!

the same scams are going to continue to happen if not more if this market was heavily regulated and people were restricted about what they could create. that would just push people into off-the-market and in shady places for trading.

the solution to the problem you are concerned with is so easy! people simply have to stop giving away their money to any random person who asks for it in return for garbage.
Without regulations crypto will not move from geeks to real people. Real people are used to be "protected" by the law.  Wink

Finally, crypto will be regulated, but in some countries. However, it will be something like a "paper" law. In reality, it is impossible to regulate the market as millions of people are involved in the operations, and almost all of them are pseudonymous (not anonymous now, as we understand). Therefore, in the future (at least in 3-7 years) nothing here can be changed globally, even if the laws are signed.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops profitable and worth my time ? on: September 02, 2019, 11:57:04 AM
For me filling the free time by doing airdrop is no loss, because airdrop is very easy to do and only requires a few tasks to complete. In contrast to bounties that require a long time to do it.

This is good and real money-making on cryptocurrency without investments. I do not think that here, you lose a lot of time really. Although you will not make too much with Airdrops (it depends on the project, sure), this is the perfect way to start dealing with crypto and do not risk your money in the very beginning.
Also, do not forget about BAT tokens from the Brave that anyone can get looking through ads and working in this browser.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is buying crypto with fiat a good idea? on: September 02, 2019, 11:52:34 AM
Hey! I want to buy some crypto with fiat and I want to know if it's a good idea. For example, to exchange crypto to crypto is just 0.25% fees on changelly. On the contrary, it's 7% to exchange it from fiat. It's a huge difference! What do you think about it?

While there are a lot of crypto prices that are going down now, I think buying good altcoin with fiat is a good decision. At some exchangers, now we can buy crypto with a credit card or debit card and that gives us convenience. Regarding the transaction fee which reached 0.25%, I think the rate is still reasonable

Most people start dealing with cryptocurrencies when they buy it with fiat. I do not see here any great difference with other methods - the same risks and possible gains also exist. The other thing is when you buy cryptocurrency with cash. Buying crypto for cash attracts traders and investors who value privacy and want to avoid high fees on exchanges.
However, here you should know the person is 100% honest and he can be trusted.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum update on: August 31, 2019, 08:46:46 PM
I heard Ethereum will be updated to Ethereum 2 in early 2020.
I would appreciate you if you answer my questions.
1. Will there be a fork like we had for bitcoin cash? Or we will have to deposit our Ethereums to an address to get ETH2 in a new address? Or our Ethereum will be updated automatically?
2. What do you think about regulations? Is it possible that we will be forced to pass KYC to get ETH2?

No fork will happen. Ethereum core innovation is the transition to a new proof-of-stake algorithm. Additionally, the sharding solution used in the system will be updated. Due to this, participants will be able to scale faster and more efficiently.

It is planned that Ether 2.0 will be able to process faster in the system, and the number of transactions per second will be increased greatly.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why transactions take so much time? on: August 31, 2019, 08:39:52 PM
Hello! To be honest, I'm so tired of waiting for transactions. I use changelly and I have to wait for my transaction for 5-30 minutes and that's exhausting. Do you know exchanges with faster transactions?

In July, the information about the fastest crypto exchange appeared. It will be called PIT. I am not sure that it will be launched soon, but later, you can check for it. Besides, why 5 minutes of waiting for a transaction seem to you to be so long? It is the norm. I agree that 30 minutes is too much as you become nervous, but I do not remember that I used to wait for half an hour. I use Binance.
