1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CryptoWater $C2O | ICO | IEO | ERC20 | 0x13Ca8eb6405cFbE2eaE5D002076510 on: November 18, 2020, 05:05:08 PM
Primary mission of the project is to bottle and timestamp 10,000 bottles with regulatory approval. Projected timeframe for project infrastructure completion is late 2021 early (spring) 2022.

Since production is one thing, selling is another crucial thing that brings revenue and since this model should be cost efficient, i assume selling price per bottle would be quite high compared to traditional water bottle.

And i am not sure people would be willing to pay extra money for that since they can get comparable quality water bottle from traditional retailers.

But since i am not familiar about financial plan, it's hard to get a clear vision whats this project is all about in its core.

Maybe whitepaper will provide some answers to my questions. Good luck. I am following for now.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LANACOIN $LANA "PoW/PoS Sha256d" | NO premine | NO ICO | OPEN LAUNCH | on: October 25, 2020, 06:58:30 PM
After delete all files except wallet.dat 15 connections appeared.
When synchronization was completed my balance became in 6 times less. All POS-mining operations after 13.05.2019 disappeared.
What's wrong? I just holded coins in wallet.

No matter what you did, you can always prior check your wallets at explorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/lana/ if all is good.

The explorer gives you a relevant information, then and only then comes your system, because you could be on a different chain, so called hard fork. I believe all is good. You've messed up something, somewhere. Do -rescan, checkwallet or repairwallet.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GP] GoldPieces - An expandable digital currency for online multiplayer gaming on: July 19, 2019, 05:32:52 AM
I fully support the idea, having both coins merged is a smart move these days. Having no developer is not this big of a deal, GP has a stable wallet and active nodes, it's the community that matters =)

btw, looks like your recap needs a tiny correction Smiley

Duly noted with thanks! I agree about dev(s), it really doesn't matter if there is no active dev, we can always hire someone for any necessary update if needed. Generally speaking of course!

Yes time does fly in crypto as I have been in GP for over 3 years now but right now things ain't all that good. I thought that once Inkha came back that GP would start again but now he is MIA again so I'm not sure what to think anymore and to make things worse there is no volume on CE and we are lucky to still be listed on there as GP has been flagged as an abandoned project. I hope something happens here, in the meantime I'll continue to stake my coins.

I understand you, the problem with each abandon project is a mess we are left with.

Its just on us, those who are still persist, for what reason that would be, most likely because of the money we invested into, to make next moves.

Put aside hope and desires, i wont help and it will make things just worse to the point of no return.

It just a matter of time when CE will start with cleaning their market pairs, on the other hand with Yobit, that is another unreliable exchange.

I think the best way to move us from current "black hole dragging" situation is to move GP to another chain.

Right now, good candidate would be HYPER coin. Although is has its own problems, from exchange point of view and lack of community activity.

It has a nice working wallet, with CryptoDatabase IT support (not sure about that though).

HYPER still has some funds that can use as replacement for GP coins.

All what is needed is to set an exchange rate between GP and HYPER, set swap date and at least 75% of all GP coins should be swapped.

I don't know which of those goals is harder to achieve but they are all better than what is waiting on us if we don't do anything.

But the first thing is to wake up this sleepy community.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GP] GoldPieces - An expandable digital currency for online multiplayer gaming on: July 07, 2019, 07:41:56 AM
Looking back in the past, I bought my first GP coins almost 4 years ago at the rate of 10,974 satoshi per 1 GP, at the value of BTC $292.85. Time flies, right?

I sold some, bought some, forgot about it and now i've come back to see where are we.

It took me a while to resync the wallet, if anyone needs the latest bootstrap, please let me know.

Where are we right now?

I doesn't look good, that's for sure.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019? on: March 12, 2019, 09:12:02 AM
There is a total availibility of 18.4 million Monero in the market, and out of that 16.7 million has already been mined, since the genesis of the cryptocurrency back in 2014.

Now as mentioned before, the limit of mining Monero is 18.4 million, 16.7 million of which has already been mined. It has been noticed that a more finite a resource is, the more valuable it becomes.

Similarly, it can be predicted that the more finite Monero will become as a cryptocurrency, the more likely it is for the prices of Monero to shoot up.

You can find detail info also here: Monero Price Prediction

Now Let me know what you guys think about it? Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019?

Ask yourself if Monero is the only coin out there in existance, does is offer something unique? What people's needs does it satisfy? Answer those questions and you will have your answer. Total supply is irrelevant in most cases. The lack of people is being short-sighted that's why history repeats and maybe that's ways we might see new heights without any reason why.

What about yobit wallet?

This is just the way they do at Yobit, putting wallets on maintenance mode. I've contacted them several times, they did respond quite fast and they put wallet back on, but only for several days, like 2-3 days. Solution would be to move to Tokens and trade there but withdraw fees is way too high by my opinion (5000 LANA). But on the other hand, their security level is top notch. I never like trading at Yobit, it doesn't feel safe but at the time of speaking, this is the really we are faced with. I guess its all about sellers and buyers to move their coins somewhere else, or maybe they just need some incentives to do that.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][tokens] Next generation cryptocurrency trading platform on: September 27, 2018, 08:13:52 AM
Is that a joke...Lanacoin???

What are u doing...

Add first 50 coins on cmc...Lanacoin??? Huh

Yeah, i was a little bit surprised as well by the fact Lanacoin is about to be listed, to all respect to Lanacoin, but then again if you look at the background of Lanacoin it all make sense. Its a good promotion for Lanacoin, but with lack of real impact. Its just, guys, we are living in different times then last year. Will see what will happen in coming months if anything at all.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves vs. Bitcoin on: September 26, 2018, 11:42:54 AM
People like to stick with the old habits, meaning they dont like seeing changes that often in their lives. It's the same with BTC and other stuffs that control our lives. Despite BTC being slow and expensive it will be number one for quite some time.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental vs Technical? on: September 26, 2018, 07:44:27 AM
When I select a particular share to purchase, I go through all of their financials, their management and their history. Do you guys do the same for tokens or you follow a procedure of reading trends and predicting turns?

I dont know, crypto world isn't the same as regulated finance world.

Well, when i invest in a particular share i usually go over their financial statements (P&L, BS), their 5 years strategy plan, dividend payout ratio, what's company's impact to society, in what industry sector they do business, etc...

In crypto, well, its just a gamble, for now i dont see it as an investing. I hope that will change.

Hi all, last week i came back from my backpacking trip across Australia, Fiji and New Zealand that had taken me around 4 months and a half and what an experience that was.

During that time I didn't pay attention to crypto world and must say it had been a refreshment. But now I am back ready for some updates and all I see is that we are basically where we were at the beginning of the summer 2018.

Or even worse. Cryptodatabase is still active?

I tried to log in to dvk2 and it's still fine, although now i need some kind of pin code to withdraw funds, but its ok.

Let's get ready for the winter.

Hi Smiley

I was wondering how far along is the stakerate of HYPER?

Is it still 5% per month right now and if so, how long will that continue?

And after that will it change to 5-10% per year and for how long until it becomes 2% per year?

Can we get an update on all this, in calendertime please? Smiley

Thx in advance. Smiley

/Magnion

It is currently at 5% a month stake percentage, I'm not sure of the exact time schedule as I've forgotten where that code was located at, it should be 1-2 years before it drops to a lower stake rate then 5 years before it drops again.

Ok. Thank you for the update. Smiley

/Magnion

You can find that info in main.cpp file of HYPER code, see the row 992 where it says:
Quote
// miner's coin stake reward
int64_t GetProofOfStakeReward(const CBlockIndex* pindexPrev, int64_t nCoinAge, int64_t nFees)
{
    int64_t nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD1 * 33 / (365 * 33 + Cool;
    if(pindexBest->nTime > 1493596800) //Mon, 01 May 2017 00:00:00 GMT
        nSubsidy = (nCoinAge * COIN_MONTH_REWARD1 * 33 / (365 * 33 + Cool) * 12;
    if(pindexBest->nTime > 1586736000) // Mon, 13 Apr 2020 00:00:00 GMT
        nSubsidy = (nCoinAge * COIN_MONTH_REWARD2 * 33 / (365 * 33 + Cool) * 12;
    if(pindexBest->nTime > 1744502400) // Sun, 13 Apr 2025 00:00:00 GMT
        nSubsidy = (nCoinAge * COIN_MONTH_REWARD3 * 33 / (365 * 33 + Cool) * 12;

    LogPrint("creation", "GetProofOfStakeReward(): create=%s nCoinAge=%d\n", FormatMoney(nSubsidy), nCoinAge);
    return nSubsidy + nFees;

No, i dont mean that, i meant nothing with what i posted. I just posted the fact of inactivity of OP author. Nothing more and nothing less. Everything else is on you to judge how will you handle that information. I see it only as a strange sign, not what i've used to see at other projects.

What about the crypt? tell me when it will unfold? Or give a sign at least some, because I'm already beginning to think about quitting the game.

You've joined the game at the ATH and now when every coin is like 2-3x lower you want to quit? That is how quitters work. Ask yourself, are you one of them?
