gavin andresen is hugely keen to get as much constructive criticism as possible and the first step i believe is to have your theory peer reviewed before the developer team would consider looking at it or wether an action would be required. this is fair as only today i read a theory on twitter that bitcoin price rise was a short squeeze and reprinted by several msm pundits on twitter. they need to have theories filtered at a fairly high level or else its just unwanted noise

6  Economy / Economics / Re: Uncapped coin vs capped coin supply on: June 18, 2013, 10:12:33 AM
The 21 million cap is a major selling point, but not one I particularly agree with. There's such a thing as too much deflation, which can cause hyper mania and crashes several times a year. Hopefully it doesn't get that volatile, and there is something to stabilize it by then. Then again, if the hoarding/saving rate stays roughly the same, there's not much to worry about.
this is pure and utter nonsense promoted by msm fairytale balloon money advocates. history has no examples of hyperdeflationary collapses but plenty of inflationary ones. You need to understand that deflation is a normal part of a healthy economic cycle that self corrects regularly its own excesses. Read Minsky prolonged stability is the worst thing possible for an economy and just stores up for massive hyper destructive deflation event It creates a delusion of stability that allows bad debt on top of bad debt and bad investment on top of bad investment to the point we are now floating in a sea of fairytale trillions in debt that must be unwound. This property of gold is what satoshi knew he had to copy to ensure longevity as store of value. If you still dont understand this ... what happens in the next few years will leave it imprinted on your mind as this current system collapses...

FUCKING WITH THE 21 MILLION CAP IS BITCOINS ANIMAL FARM MOMENT...you must understand this is what gives btc life over and above fiat as dilution/debasement has destroyed every fiat currency ever...
8  Other / Meta / Re: Ripple trying to take over the Bitcoin Discussion thread on: May 21, 2013, 12:14:05 PM
So it is like Ripple is the Romney campaign with paid supporters while Bitcoin is the Ron Paul campaign with unpaid grassroots supporters.

LOL....

No, its more like Bitcoin is Ron Paul: completely rigid in his ideology and too set in his ways to consider other possibilities.

And Ripple is Rand Paul: younger, more open minded, more energy, able to get more things done because he tries to work within the system instead of trying to challenge it directly.

so very true Rand Paul also a disgusting bought and paid for sell out..

yes burt your posts have been consistant and informative, but unfortunately not all to your standards and many resoundingly "I told you so" just being repeated for the sake of it.. i for one waded in and after 10 min realised i had not done due diligence..it was then i discovered this forum. Most folk if like me will have only discovered your valueable insights after the fact so please realise it is condescending and insulting to assume people ignored advice genuinely offered on the forum. It is fundamentally a misunderstanding of the typical usage pattern of a forum with ref to the issue itself and perhaps an apology to the users that did not follow your implied sequence of events might be in order. Huh

Well the thing that I've noticed is He's no longer putting links showing payment just posting paid or going out. And last weekend he ran his promo and if the queue is right took in tens of thousands of dollars in btc. Now he's running a one month anniversary double payouts with a bonus for more than 6 btc. He's also made the packages bigger and eliminated the .05 package entirely. So he seems to be doing all he can to grab as many btc as he can with all these promos. At the same time, he's not showing the confirmations of payments anymore. It looks like he is paying out huge amounts even early without any proof whatsoever. My gut feeling is we are near the end and he's trying to grab as much as he can before he takes off with the money. He hasn't been around much lately here either.

My prediction is the complaints and accusations will now begin increasing as those marked paid haven't been. The new deposits will slow to a trickle and he will vanish. I will be very surprised if things are still running two weeks from now. I expect the collapse is pretty much imminent if not already occurring. He's just trying to squeeze the last Satoshi out of this before he's gone. I could be wrong but that's my perception of things. If you have deposits with him, just hope you get paid, but I would highly recommend not making any new ones. This thing is about to blow up.

unfortunately i think your right ...he is not even trying to prove his system now
