381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren thoughts on Bitcoin on: November 01, 2020, 10:17:05 PM
I really don't care about what Warren buffet thinks anymore about bitcoin or cryptocurrency, that's his own opinion and choice everyone is entitled to their own opinions, since his already old what do you expect old people don't really like learning new things, same way most of them have no idea what crypto is, so he can continue saying bad stuffs about it as long as he wants, for me crypto is the future, there's no way I'm gonna leave it, because Warren buffet doesn't like it.

384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: October 31, 2020, 10:59:13 PM
Most times these bounty tokens turn out to be lesser than what we expected, and it's not bad to dump a coin that isn't progressing everyone does that, so don't feel any form of guilt whenever you dump any bounty token that isn't doing well.
So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?
I normally dump a token when I realize it doesn't have what it takes to compete in the market anymore, most times when the project stops developing and becomes stagnant, I will just dump the coin then I would invest in others that have greats potentials and will actually give me some profits.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous teams on: October 31, 2020, 10:48:57 PM
In crypto projects, the team behind it is one of the most important factor, most investors would like to know if the team behind the project have had some years of experience working asup in their sleeves, it's not advisable to go round throwing money into random projects with no team to show, avoid such projects as they are likely to become a scam projects later on, keep away from them.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why DeFi is high risk investment on: October 30, 2020, 10:12:06 PM
Investing in DeFi seems to be a bad idea right now, with the rate of DeFi ponzi increasing its no longer safe to invest in any DeFi project now, the smart ones are the early birds that invested much earlier when DeFi was not all over the place, they made off with some good amount of profits from it  before the DeFi hype started fading away, while the late comers are the ones investing now and end up getting scammed, DeFi is more like a ponzi now, we should just tread carefully.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: October 30, 2020, 08:23:10 PM
I dont know what you think guys but i think airdrop and bounty kill the project let say after the project finish the ico all the bounty and airdrop hnter sell their coin/token , this make te price go low.Since all of bounty and airdrp hunter did not care about the project.
Neither bounty hunters or airdroppers kill any project, so I disagree with you on this one, just so you know most times bounty and airdrop allocations are about 1% of the total token suppl, so I doubt that they are the main reason why projects don't succeed after listing on exchanges, if a project doesn't have what it takes to compete in the market it will definitely die, so it's not the bounty hunters or airdroppers fault.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: October 29, 2020, 09:05:47 PM
In a short while that I have been in cryptocurrency I have seen so many crypto project and fantastic budget and planned you see that some of them still left the project unfinished some even do stop the crypto project without any pre_information about the sudden change of plans concerning the particular project so what do you think about the crypto project that have been suspended half way , what do you think that should be done for this kind of the attitude of crypto developer's concerning crypto project abandoned project.
I believe only a few of them had have a good reason to discontinue the project, while the rest of them are just scam projects that just want to steal money from the investors and sometimes they just want to steal personal identity informations (kyc) from the bounty hunters to sell on the dark web, just like clipx project.
I think crypto currency projects are halted most times due to lack of funds to start up, or perhaps after a failed Crowdfunding attempt that leaves the team with no funds to continue product development. Either ways, i believe projects stops due to incompetence of developers but funds get blamed
I think most times it's because the developer feel like their project won't be able to compete with other projects doing something similar, most developers just leave because they feel the project will become irrelevant in the long run.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: October 28, 2020, 09:21:24 PM
Honestly, you are right, investing in altcoins is more scary than I thought, and holding them is very dangerous cus the price could just drop and you will never see it anywhere that price again, so many of those altcoins back then in 2018 are all dead right now, most of them never had a real use case and some of the projects failed to delivered what they promised, I would always advice any new trader to stick to bitcoin and a few top altcoins only.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Altcoin on: October 27, 2020, 10:43:22 PM
Bitcoin looks bullish and more stable this days,at this point I think it's better to hold more of bitcoin than altcoins, cus so many altcoins are bleeding badly, investing in bitcoin has always been better than investing in any altcoins out there, no matter how many altcoins that have come into the crypto sphere, bitcoin dominance has always been greater than altcoins, this show that it will always be the leader of the crypto market while other altcoins follow behind.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: October 27, 2020, 09:04:03 PM
Governments all around the World Secretly start using together with banks the bitcoins.
Oil is done so They replace bitcoin instead of oil.

The btc volatility might go like daily 50k-100k price Changes.

Bitcoin will be instutionalized permanently.
The Global market prices Liqutation postion will be fluctuated by Bitcoin price.

I said this before but nobody didnt listen but now its here!!

Not sure bitcoin will replace these things anytime soon, gold and oil are more popular than bitcoin, besides they are centralized and controlled by the government, its also tied to a country's economy unlike bitcoin that's forbidden to use in most parts of the world for being decentralized and uncontrollable by the government, so at the moment its impossible for that to happen.
392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto in Q3-Q4 2020. Hodl or use for purchases? on: October 25, 2020, 10:36:24 PM
Do you hodl and hope for the price to skyrocket?
I'm a big of bitcoin so I always have faith in it that's it going bounce back each time it falls, so anytime the price drops, I normally hodl till the price goes back up then I sell.

Is it even worth spending your coins on anything you can get using a credit card?
Its worth it man, I normally enjoy using my crypto to buy or pay for goods or services online, recently I learnt how to recharge my cell phone number using crypto and since then have been rocking it, it's super fast and I don't have to leave the house to the bank where there's an ATM to withdraw from, before I can buy what I want, I just stay at home and pay, others maybe dislike it, but for me I actually love using crypto to buy things instead of credit cards.

394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 24, 2020, 05:09:07 PM
It's simple, people tend to avoid using something they have little or no idea about, some of them may think using bitcoin for transactions might be unsafe or they don't even know to make it work, they don't know a recipient address is needed if they want to send out some bitcoins, I believe most of the crypto enthusiasts today on their first encounter with bitcoin alot of them watched several youtube videos, because they didn't know how it worked back then, so i think we just need to educate them more about it,and in no time they will start adopting the new technology.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi project beginning to sounds ridiculous on: October 24, 2020, 04:42:28 PM
With projects like Hotdog coin and the likes doing the rounds, the whole DeFi craze is beginning to look and smell a lot like the ICO bubble a few years ago. Although, i feel that their own acceptance of how ridiculous and scammy it all is is ironically adding to their appeal.
Why do you think this is happening?
DeFi seems to be just another ICO bubble, and I bet fomo is the main reason, so many people are scared of missing out, cus they saw how so many coins were just going up without any pull back, coin like Hotdog was a real bubble  Cheesy, reached the peak and just fell down back to where it originally started, also alot of scammers seized the opportunity to start naming their scam projects with similar names to the successful DeFi projects, "YFI" was the most used by scammers, they came up with names like YF MOONSHOT, YFIR.finance etc which turned scam after two to three weeks, too bad the DeFi hype is no more there.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think DeFi season is going to be just like Altcoin season? on: October 24, 2020, 04:19:45 PM
At the moment, I'm not so sure it's going to be another altcoin season, although a few months ago it looked like another altcoins season was finally here cus so many coins were just going up insanely all in the name of DeFi e.g YFI which syrocketed to $42,000 due to the DeFi hype, right now it's down to $13,000, the hype was too much, lately i no longer hear about it as much as I used to back then, I think the DeFi hype is dying slowly.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I feel sorry for the EMIREX bounty hunters $20 for 9 months of waiting on: October 24, 2020, 08:59:10 AM
Damn, that's really really bad, it's not worth the wait at all, imagine after 9 months wait Just 24 usd for the bounty hunter, this is one of the disadvantages of participating in bounties, most times the tokens will go below the price they set, and you will end up getting $5 instead of $50 at the end of the campaign, some don't even pay at all, geez.
398  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price now and something interesting on: October 23, 2020, 08:03:31 PM
It's not time to get too excited over the recent movement in bitcoin price. Let us not not forget that the US election is just a couple of days away and we expect the market to take swings throughout the duration of the elections. Also, on shorter time frames, it does look like buyers are getting tired and would give in to some selling pressure and due for corrections as well.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will UNISWAP become a centralized exchange? on: October 23, 2020, 06:10:46 PM
I think there's a possibility to convert a decentralized exchange to a centralized one, remember not all exchanges that claim to be decentralized are truly decentralized, uniswap on the other hand has been a great in spear heading the DEX movement in crypto, but I doubt if it's gonna remain a DEX forever, let's not forget IDEX was also like this at one point in time.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time that there will be no new altcoin projects anymore on: October 23, 2020, 05:53:26 PM
Do you think we will have a time that there will be no new tokens created and people will stop investing and supporting new tokens or coins?
No new token?, I don't think that will ever happen, because as each day goes by, there are always new ideas coming up ,these new idea might have some loose ends that will bring about another project trying to solve the problem the first one had, these new project trying to solve the first project's problem, also have its own problem that will bring about another project trying to solve the problem these second one has, and it goes on and on and on, so I don't think people will ever get tired  creating new tokens, just remember every new day brings a new idea.
