Holy shit, that's nice man.
Is it stable? Is this ubuntu or you use hiveos/minerstat/similar?

Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS and AMD-gpu-pro 18.50

Still struggling with 4.15 kernel not able to set clocks properly.
Anything above 1700MHz in P7 state puts the GPU in crimp mode. So I have to use 1700/1030mV in P7 to get the highest possible coreclk. Ideal would be something like 1800/975mV in P7, that would make ~1650 effective clock in P7 at much lower wattage
I learned I will have to upgrade kernel, but don't know which version, there are also complains everywhere about 4.17-4.20 all over the forums.

I'm currently testing stability.

Wondering what would be the eth hashrate with these timings.
Implying on CN algos it gives +15%, 45mh*1.15=51.75mh
Gonna test it later.

could you share your values? and also is your vega 56 flashed to the vega 64 bios or stock?

Considering Vegas should already have been doing 45, those numbers aren’t super credible.

45 on a Vega 64, definitely doable with stock timings.

Add another 5Mh to that with the extra options you have now is definitely doable.

Yep - that was kinda my point... sounds more like this guy figured out how to properly tune his vega, then added the timing benefits on top of that.

Probably sitting at 350w+ to get 50+Mh/s which just doesn't make sense from a hash to watt ratio standpoint.

its 160 wats at 50mh i have tested and have posted my results above

..... Changing CL at all crashes everything. ...

as it says in the new update cl is about stability messing with it in any way is not good

ok i did a lot of playing around with this and on hive os with vega 64 i found these to be the best values

rc 45

faw 19

ref 15000

rfc 247

no improvements on cryptonight algos

@Elivop seems like wtrl is not working hbm2

this was tried on hiveos vega 64 these are my results so far

Okay seems like reducing rc gave me a slight boost

rc reduced to 45 from 47 gave about 0.7 mh rise
increased faw to 19 from 16 increased hash rate by 1mh, tried 22 and it shutoff the cards

seems like faw and rc are related changing only faw or only rc has no diff on hash

if rc goes below 45 it shuts of the cards
had to reboot

so far found how low rc can go and how high faw can go
gonna test if increasing rc has any results

turns out increasing rc reduced the hash so dont do that

changes to rp making no diff but increase by 4 from default seems to reduced hash

increasing rrd seriously reduced has like to 31mh

turns out increasing rfc reduces hashrate
and no point decreasing rfc value still no effect

increasing rtp also seems to reduce hash rate and reducing it to 1 from its default 5 is of also no use

increasing cwl has no effect tested till value of cwl 15 when cwl was set 20 it shut off the cards but until then had no effects to hash

will update this list when am done using the other two options remaining they are "wrts"  "wrtl" "wr"

I played with this tool during the weekend on Vega.
But to be honest I did not see any hashrate increase under CN algos.
I'm not an expert on timings, but I should see at least 1-2% increase when changing CL 20->19

That was the first time I put a Linux AMD system together and I am struggling with the different kernel and driver versions not working together.
The biggest problem is the GPU freq is affected by the voltage.
If I set in PPT P7 1600 950 then the GPU runs only at around 1400@950mV. If I increase the voltage the clock goes up, but quickly reaches TDP.
Also if I try to trick it and set P7 1700@950 then if load changes freq spikes up and card freezes obviously.
Tried with 3 different kernels and one is worse than the other.
Maybe I should try other than the 18.50 amdgpupro?

i got no results on reducing cl and when i tried increasing it , it shutoff the rig

can someone please share the config that they used for their vega and can someone explain or just give full forms of every parameter
