I could not imagine my life without it, and it is a very normal life I lead. but honestly, just keeping in a state of relative contentment is very hard nowadays (so much happening so quickly, so many options offered which one will never take...) and meditation helps me center myself, and breathe like my body has been programmed to for millenia. It is very helpful, and I can only recommend getting through the dofficult early stages, and making it a natural, joyful part of your day to day life - no hocus pocus, no easy solutions. Just breathe and live.

Well, it might be time to bring it back into the general parlance HODL HODL HODL But really, it seems that this is just a bear market phase - digital currency is here to stay, and it is all a matter of gaming the market properly, investing into quality coins which have something to offer apart from a campy name. Deep Onion is definitely one to check out!! https://deeponion.org/

I don't even have Ethereum, and such a statement seems to be completely incorrect. Why would it be dead. There is a bear market at the moment, but once it gets bullish, the prices of quality altcoins (which ETH certainly is) will rise again.

Well, who knows where the potential for anonymous and private transactions will lead. ISIS was very good at using cryptocurrencies to fund their activities, and there is a possibility of the black market budding as a result of that (that means guns, slaves... bad stuff). I am not thrilled about this, but perhaps there will be methods which will limit such use. One can only hope..

And the thing we should never forget is human too are animals.
Yes, definitely - there is a continuum between the intelligent ape which we are and the myriad species who live around us. Philosophy is a game of words, but that does not mean that animals do not play games. Is there the a philosophy of the crane, of the snake, of the cow...?

NO, its is certainly not. I mean in terms of privacy, Bitcoin is way behind the competition (Deep Onion first and foremost, Monero, Verge...) Privacy coins are where its at, and it seems that with tigther regulation, privacy coins have a niche all carved out for them.

Hey, this is a great analysis, really. Thanks for the report - ICOs are definitely a hot topic still today, and it is interesting to see some of the coonections you made with VC enterprises. Thanks for providing current info!

At present, Monero is at the level of $172. With Monero's current ongoing stats, according to me the price can cross $500 by the end of the year 2018. Monero is the best privacy coin currently as it uses ring signature in its transactions. Transactions can only be made by sharing of wallet address which makes them completely anonymous and hence keeps the information of the sender and reciever private. Due to its codebase being so strong, the coin has been accepted by several major companies, therefore increasing its market capital.
Monero is not the best privacy coin around, as Deep Onion is. The level of intagration of ONION far surpasses that of Monero and there are new services (DeepSend, DeepVault...) which give the coin a robust feel. Wallet is perfect also, and being updated constantly - DEEP ONION is really the best privacy coin around.

Similarities NEO and Ethereum are both blockchain projects specifically designed to host smart contracts, ICOs, utility Token Sales and dApps in a decentralized manner. Their respective blockchains are fueled by crypto-assets (Gas in NEO, Ether in Ethereum).
Differences Ethereum is not backed by any nation’s government, but it is supported by the EEA-Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. This speaks volumes about its popularity and potential success on the world’s stage. NEO is one of the few blockchain platforms born in China. This has become the most important factor for NEO’s popularity in Asia, making it China’s first open-source public blockchain project. NEO was created by Onchain CEO, Da HongFei, and CTO, Erik Zhang. NEO is also backed by crowdfunding platform WINGS, Microsoft, Alibaba, and various other Microsoft-like giants. Its seems as though the Chinese Government has a leaning towards NEO Platform of both are good, but I like ETH ! Good stuff, thanks for this well chosen quote. I heard about NEOs Chinese connection, but this put some perspective on it. I wonder how Chinese gvmnt will appraoch the proliferation of other altcoins...

Bitcoin itself is not going to turn to a human to help. You and I are the ones who will create that platform to help from the wealth you must have accrued from being an early adopter of bitcoin.
Do as much as you can in your own little way and if we all keep that going, you'd be surprised at the number of poor children's life you will be touching. We all have a part to play!
Right, but digital currency now offers a very efficient way to funnel money into charities and NGOs working in various places around the world. The ease of investment of cryptos is already being discussed as the fuutre of charities.

when the market declines, I am sure that every team of development of each coin will try hard to restore the price. so my worries are not so great.
Yup, that's what's really important - the developer team and their devotion to the project and to its success, If the developer team is working on a sound project, then there is no need to worry. It is not all speculation!

Very interesting list of possible variables to keep an eye out for. Thanks for this short analysis, and yes, there is no doubt that crypto will rise, albeit with a corrected market cap.

That is good news for crypto holders. We will see, however how that trend will develop - any thoughts on why this has occurred? What are the reasons for the rise in price?

Whoah - meat space - love that term. Personally, I dont see how a human without the extremely, complex meat body could interact as fully without it. Any reduction of that body seems to be a reduction of the sensory potential of the mind...

Intersting idea, but the technological limits to such a project are pretty vast - regardless, let's maybe forget about those and ask ourselves, would we want to? Would u want to be, say uploaded to a virtual world to live perhaps forever? Personally, I wouldnt...

I don't think the law should dictate our emotional investments - I am not married and faithful because the law says so, but because I feel personal obligation to our relationship with my wife. If that would ever be lost, my loyalty would shift as well. I am not in it for society, but for the two of us.

This is a very interesting concept - the market for cryptos which support NGOs is really budding, and one can see why - the convenience of gving donations through digital currency is obvious. Good luck on this one!

|
It is a natural force of the market - for example the iCO bans are to prevent money scams - trhere are people who are uninformed and they are losing a lot of money on these scammers. Little things like this can't shake the validity of digital currency in general however...

Hm, not good news, but we must persist and show the nationa states that it is in their interest to only regulate, and not ban cryptocurrencies. The fight will be long and there will be no end to it, but that will be the hcallenge for the coming years.
