201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Why the price in euros is different to other broker's on: December 09, 2017, 12:18:56 AM
Because every website determines their price point through a bunch of factors including volume, and BTC they have on hand. Not sure what the exact breakdown is but that is why there is price discrepancies between exchanges. If you have enough capital you on multiple exchanges and are verified I would think arbing these spots would be quite profitable.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: December 09, 2017, 12:12:40 AM
Essentially nope there is no way other than writing it down, or a paper wallet, or a video will there are a finite amount of ways you can do this. Alternatively you could give some to them before you pass that way they will learn about it quicker. But those private keys are important and if you don't have that stuff then essentially GG and you don't want to do that will all that money. Never before have you been able to lose such a big sum of money with such small action.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: December 02, 2017, 09:19:16 PM
Right now i trying to mining a lot of coins, i thinking its mabey its good to save the coins like 6-12 mdr before selling it.

Can orther explain about its a good point else about the risk its to high to lose to lot on it?

I don't know a ton about mining but my friend does some cloud mining and usually he sells his coins directly because they are in profit at that point in time. That being said if you believe in the company and the fundamentals, team, and product are good I don't see why not you couldn't hang on to a small percentage of coins to speculate. I however would not hold onto a large portion say 50% unless it was a smaller part of my portfolio or if I had tons of investments elsewhere then you could gamble a bit. If mining is all you do everyday I would say play it safe and take the guaranteed money no point shooting yourself in the foot for no reason.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions speed on: December 02, 2017, 09:15:18 PM
Bigger fee always means faster time because the miners will want to mine the biggest fees first then work downwards. That is why some transactions get stuck or take sometimes weeks because people cheap out and then they wonder why there transaction doesn't go through. Also if you want speed a bitcoin fork is incoming last week of December called Lightning Bitcoin (LBTC), there biggest selling point is that they will be blazing fast I believe.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin have any value? on: December 02, 2017, 09:03:26 PM
How does Bitcoin have any value?

Honestly it doesn't have any inherent value as it is backed by nothing but nonetheless it has the value people are willing to give it and that is quite big right now. Goes to show how much the world doesn't trust governments and I am no different I dislike governments for the most part. Sure they provide us with resources based off taxes but still they are so slow at changing policies and doing anything the citizens want. If you are in a communist state you surely agree and if you are in a "democracy" I think you would also agree but this is no true democracy. It is handful of people deciding what to do for you which I think is complete crap. If you want change put EVERYTHING up to a vote, if not you will get bitcoin revolution. Eat it governments, eat it all god damn day Tongue
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New hardfork this december...? on: December 02, 2017, 08:56:14 PM
Hey guys,
I heard that this month is a hard fork
What u guys think that btc will go down till 6k?

Yes there is another fork this month in fact I think there are two. But why would that drive the price down now? If anything what we seen in the past two forks it would drive price up and that is what I expect here too.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: is it a bubble waiting to burst or a good investment? on: December 02, 2017, 08:53:15 PM
It is considered niche among those who are big investors? Man well that ever be a thing of the past after 2018 because I don't see a price tag being under 25k once all these funds start getting in this coming year. I doubt it will be niche after that the exposure will be absolutely massive.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 - the end of 90% altcoin? on: December 02, 2017, 08:49:27 PM
No I don't think it is the end of 90% of altcoins by that time. I think that most will not be worth much but when new investors enter the scene they are looking for coins to get into which could mean pump for useless coins. I think we witnessed that in the bull run earlier this year so I don't rule it out if massive mainstream growth happens and the industry 10x in a year again.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: December 02, 2017, 08:44:57 PM
Here is actually a good read and nice comparison between existing anonymous coins (there are others), particularly the differences between Spectrecoin, Cloakcoin and Deeponion are interesting. Read that yourself, no need to comment on it, it's self explaining.

http://coinwiki.info/en/SpectreCoin

Yeah because going to an opposing coins wikipedia is really going to be credible jesus try harder in your attempts at FUD ffs that was god awful Roll Eyes. The fact that you guys are discussing it still is proof enough that somebody wants it gone and that should be enough to push the coin higher. Keep the FUD acoming boys!

I don't like their Airdrop system, it is too complicated. You need to have coins to get coins. Too much trouble.

And what is so complicated about this? Byteball and Bitcore do % airdrops as well it is same this is normal. Don't see the trouble here care to point it out?
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10k Bitcoin upcoming!? What are your plans for the Alts? on: November 28, 2017, 08:58:39 PM
Anyone feeling the way I am: Bitcoin is about to jump up to 10k!

We have broken 8k and the next stop seems to be 10k. This would mean a 25% increase in the price. If Alts follow the pattern from before (Bitcoin Gold and Segwit 2x forks) we can expect a drop of 30-40% in the Alts. I will probably sell my Alts and wait for the coming drop. Or does anyone think that Alts will rise along with Bitcoin? What are your plans for the Alts in the coming week/month?

Good call first off mate props on that. Second but more importantly alts have held most of their value if not increased in the past two weeks which is a very good sign to me. It is signaling good things to come and I think once bitcoin futures start to take off you will see some of that money come pouring over into altcoins.

212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Black Friday on: November 28, 2017, 08:10:57 PM
DENT, IXT, MTH, ETC are my favourite ones for sure.

dent = scam
ixt = out of fashion
mth = scam
etc = questionable

your favorites are shit. you might want to look out for better coins. Grin

try pivx, walton, civic, bancor...

I agree about the first 3 but ETC is legit...I mean look at the ticker today it is legit as can be Wink
213  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: November 24, 2017, 05:27:41 PM
Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

I hope it is because cash really does not serve a purpose in our society anymore. All it does is fuel criminal activity and would we be upset that criminal activity is decreased? No not really I mean obviously they will find other

ways to pay but still I think this can help decrease the illegal activity in our societies.

Any updates ? They got lost even without stealing our money.  Cheesy

Well not no money they took a tiny amount off me because I thought this may be the next thing. I was really dumb in my assessment here but I did only invest a nominal amount which I knew likely would be hustled out of.

Oh well live and learn as they say right? Smiley
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the average fee you guys are paying for transaction these days? on: November 17, 2017, 09:27:19 PM
The other day I made two transactions after a month of $55 and 7. And I was surprised to see that Blockchain.info showed that I had to pay $13 fee for each transaction. As far as I remember, the regular fee was around $2-3. Has something changed that I don't know about? Will I have to pay $13 fee for each transaction from now on?

It depends on what website you are using as some fees are drastically higher than others and some are non negotiable (sending from exchanges). Now that you mention it my fee was 200k satoshi the other day and that is

equal to ~15 which is quite damn high!

 Cheesy

Scrolling through the thread, there is a lot of good info. Topics such as block size and centralization crop up. Definitely recommended content. I never got involved with the specifics of segwit2x to know how good or bad it is. Awhile ago there was a bug in Bitcoin Unlimited that killed nodes which seems to parallel this bug in segwit. History is repeating itself. A precedent may be forming where those involved with bitcoin unlimited, segwit2x and perhaps bitcoin cash are prone towards doing these types of things.

Oh wow thank you truly for bringing something like this to light! I didnt know this was the whole reason behind the fork but I can honestly say I am not surprised and I thought the fork was ruled by greed. Now I can confirm

my notion as correct and actually have some reasoning as to why those scumbags were trying to push 2x through.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are altcoins dead? on: November 17, 2017, 09:20:40 PM
The 2x fork is over and not a drop of money has come in to altcoins, the market is dead.

I dont think you can declare it dead right away. Perhaps it is a bit of a bear market at the moment, perhaps people dont want to invest into alt coins given all the forks and blood baths that keep happening. I say let all the

markets calm down for a couple of weeks and then see where the direction is trending. You would literally think the market is bear one day and bull the next day if you went off one day sentiments, this isnt correct way to go
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats so special about IOTA? on: November 17, 2017, 09:19:08 PM
I am a bit late to this altcoin train. But heard a lot about IOTA, NEO etc having great potential. Whats so special about these coins? And which one would be a better option for long tern holding?

You are never too late to the train if it is still boarding (which I think it still is). IOTA is trying to accomplish a network with zero fees for transferring and their big draw is the DAG. NEO is similar to what ETH has accomplished

as a platform look for them to challenge Ethereum in the near future. I cannot say which is better for long term holding though you should look into both and see which one you like best because both have massive potential

if they reach their goals.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] ETHEREUM ICE - TRANSPARENT CURRENCY [ETHI][LOW SUPPLY] on: November 17, 2017, 09:16:22 PM
hallo any body home? how long we must wait?

In the OP it does say 2 weeks between this round and that round for distribution which doesnt make me think good things. At least you all werent the ones who got burned at the exchange. Granted it was an amount I could

afford to lose but still ducking sucks when you have loads of worthless coins (not complaining just venting).
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miners and BCH, BTC.. what happens now? on: November 11, 2017, 05:26:11 PM
It's almost more funny than sad how such whales can play the market and give so many people FOMO on bitcoin cash. Cause that's the only reason for the current gains, all FOMO.

1. Bitcoin Cash is never going to overtake Bitcoin. If it would have a feature that Bitcoin is missing and really needs, then Bitcoin will just do another fork.
2. Bitcoin has become too much of a household name among the general public. It's the only name the great majority has ever heard of. When they decide to hop on the cryptocurrency train they search for "Buy Bitcoin", not "Buy Bitcoin Cash", "Buy Bitcoin Gold", "Buy Bitcoin x123" or "Buy Waves". If Bitcoin Cash would make regular Bitcoin crash then that will confuse the shit out of the general public and crash whatever trust is building up now, not only ruining Bitcoin's future but the future if Bitcoin Cash and other Blockchain-cryptocurrencies along the way.

Those arguements all make logical sense but I am worried that we may be living in a backwards world and one day bitcoin wont be #1. I mean I still think bitcoin is king and will remain there but I didnt think it through fully.

Knowing that the trust would be destroyed is quite huge actually because this is something that would not be easy to get back and it only makes sense for everybody in cryptos that cryptos do well, thanks for the light!
