2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm thinking about trading. My name says it all. on: September 20, 2020, 12:02:25 PM
Dude if you are new to Crypto, trading is the last thing you wanna do. First thing you need to do is get in the crypto world then by doing research you can slowly start trading. Also always try to find out why a certain coin is having a sudden increase or fall.
3  Economy / Scam Accusations / Is the Burstcoin team (if there are any left) scamming us? on: September 18, 2020, 08:55:00 AM
I believe most of Burst holder have heard of their recent project where they plan to open a DEX and issuing of its token BEX, where BEX owners based on their BEX holdings will receive profits feom exchange fees. This all sounded to be true from the beggining.
What has happened?
1. Apparently they have receiced over 2 mil from angel investors
2. Have oppened up the crowdfunding address on the BEX website, where the first one was removed, then later placed the second one, now it is gone entirely.
3. The Telegram channel where you could ask questions is closed for commenting
4. To receive BEX tou had to send burst coin and receive BEX back.

MY OPINION IS THAT THEY ONLY WANTED US TO BUY THE BURST COIN AND NEVER HAD THE INTENTION OF HAVING BEX HOLDERS AS SHAREHOLDERSNOF BEX EXCHANGE.

WHAT IS YOUR THOUGHT.

FYI. BITBOYCRYPTO ADVERTISED THIS ONLY TO REMOVE THE VIDEO LATER WITHOUT EXPLANATION
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Reporting suspected fraud in a crypto project on: September 17, 2020, 03:51:30 PM
Hi all
I have been wondering is there a institution or a address where one can report if suspects a foul play in crypto world.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / UNISWAP explained on: September 17, 2020, 08:25:19 AM
I am having a hard time understanding how UNISWAP works. I went to their site and it gives you the option to trade all ERC tokens. So you want to buy certain coin with Ethereum, does that mean that coin is there in some pool, or how does it work?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency? on: September 17, 2020, 08:20:39 AM
No one is sure about anything in the future. But what I am sure about is that in the future will be used some sort of digital money for making and receiving everyday payments, and crypto falls under that category
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ClipX steals KYC data and shuts down on: September 17, 2020, 08:17:41 AM
This is an ongoing threat that bounty hunters are exposed to, and there is nothing you can do about it except for doing your own research initially and hope for the best. This is the cost of getting crypto for free.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are buying when the price is going up and not when it is down on: September 15, 2020, 08:13:36 AM
Dude...the question was funny. But you are right, and the reason why it is so it is because everybody wants to join the upward train as they hope will go high, and the other way round, because you never know how low they may go.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: September 15, 2020, 08:11:15 AM
I am participating currently in a BC, and I do believe in the project. However, many times in the past I have been scammed as the Project/coin never made it to the market. So it is a 50/50 chance of success.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who said that ICOs are dead? on: September 15, 2020, 08:08:19 AM
I do not think that ICOs are dead per se as a possibility to purchase. However, I see that the Return of Investment of most of ICOs is in the red. Personally I think that most ICOs are overpriced.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Top 10 DeFi Tokens on coinmarketcap in Loss on: September 14, 2020, 12:55:43 PM
I do not think that DeFi is dead, however I do think that not all DeFi coins are as they make it to be, as some of these DeFi have ridicilous projects. Some DeFi exchanges on the other hand are very good.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: DeFi project beginning to sounds ridiculous on: September 11, 2020, 12:52:51 PM
I am not going to lie the only defi coin that I have purchased ever since this defi frenzy started is SWIPE, and I would not have if it had jot been aqcuired by Binance. The bubble is goi g to blow and it is going to be messy.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: September 10, 2020, 08:23:52 AM
Is there a mining calculator available for idena . I have hosted a VPS and need to check the total earning i would get if i run 24x7 and the possible earnings in iDNA.
Daily profit is around 8.25 iDNA and the requirement for running a iDNA node is around this:

Processor: 64-bit, 1 core (2 cores recomended)
Memory: 2GB
Hard disk: 100GB
Internet connection: Flat internet tariff, more than 600GB of monthly traffic

A typical $5 VPS would do the job. Having a stable 24/7 remoted node for iDNA is worth the money, I think.

From which supplier do you find such prices of $ 5 for a server with a 100g + hard disk?
Don't go for the international VPS host like Vultr or DigitalOcean since they're very expensive. Try to look at your local VPS in your country since they usually offer a much better deal in terms of pricing. Some may allow you to opt out SSD to the HDD storage to suit your need, in this case, 100GB for iDNA node. See, some in this thread gave you a few suggestions already.

I did not know you needed 100GB storage. I am running it with 25GB and its not half full. Are you sure you need 100gb?

Currently  after running the node for 10 days in VPS , The HDD usage is just less than 2GB and the Bandwidth is around 90-100GB. I guess as more node's comes in, this value will grow exponentially . So plan accordingly.
Hi is it possible to get an invitation code so that I can activate the node?
Thanks
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PLEASE HELP ME on: September 09, 2020, 01:45:52 PM
Never mind, whether you have given now the key to someone or not. ASAP transfer all the coins from that wallet (if you have any) to another wallet, as your wallet is compromised. Do not wait for more damage to happen.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pi Network value speculation on: September 09, 2020, 12:03:48 PM
I have been introduced to PI by a youtube FOMOer that is worth a while. So yes I have been mining for more than a month, and I do not know whether it is worth anything, but I will keep mining.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swipe (SXP) to the moon on: September 09, 2020, 11:04:15 AM
I agree that SXP very soon will gaina decent price, but not before mid November, due to the Binance airdrop campaign for BNB holders. Therefore, until then we will see it go up and down hovering around 2 dollars.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold Strong!!! on: September 08, 2020, 09:21:24 AM
Holding strong to a straw is almost impossible. This is how the crypto market works. Only the strong will survive. If you have small amount of money invested in crypto, your chance of making it is slim to none. This is whales' world.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No hype is good on: September 08, 2020, 09:19:01 AM
I agree that one should not fall for all the hype coins out there, as surely there are some coins that will never make past a year or so. That being said I believe that a number of them are going to be great assets.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: September 04, 2020, 06:52:43 AM
I wish I did the same thing as you, but I did not, and I paid dearly for it. This half bull run was definitely for the HODLer, as everyone I know and held on to their "classic bullrun coins' suffered a major loss. Hats off to you for anticipation.
