681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many listed coins on exchange without volume, any reasons? on: September 03, 2020, 12:21:01 PM
It obvious that higher trading volum = more liquidity. liquidity refers to the ability of a coin to be converted into cash or other coins easily. Liquidity is important for any tradeable assets including cryptocurrencies.
Unfortunately, I have obversed that most coins listed this days on certain exchanges are without volume, that is, illiquid.
It is very clear that this situation was not common found before 2019.
What could be the reasons for this abnormalities. Your thoughts.

I think more than 30% of the coins or tokens that are on coinmarketcap are illiquid and are usually in small exchangers. Perhaps the factor is the inactivity of the project or there is no interest from new investors to invest

One factor that we can also consider is the exchange is not properly marketed or they have a reputation issues, I have seen so many exchanges in the scam sections and when they are reported investors and traders are shying away or stopped trading in these exchanges so traders should be careful in dealing with these exchanges.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: September 03, 2020, 11:40:03 AM
Believe me my friend, anywhere in the world, it is not easy to make money. If you see any airdrop that promises 100$, 200$, 300$, 500$ and above just for referring peeps, or sharing post online, then it is atmost 99% fraudulent.

Likewise, if you see trade signals that promises certainty, or bounties that promises you a fixed price for your token, be wary. It is not that easy nor realistic.

I hope people will take your advice and it's the reality no one can exactly guess the airdrops that you received will worth or will even hit the market, not even bounty hunting is can help you make money, or even guaranty you that you will earn promoting projects, when I was active in bounty campaign the highest I received was $25 that's after three months of campaign, so don't take these stuffs seriously, or you will be disappointed.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your advice on: September 03, 2020, 01:41:55 AM
Been seeing great men in here, some legendary and some hero members, some with high ranks. I love to aim high. I'm just making my way into the world of Cryptocurrency and I need the advice of each of you all. So my way into it can be very okay. Thanks in advance.

Forget the ranks and concentrate on your knowledge about Cryptocurrency that will bring you the most, about your poll I consider Bitcoin as the must coin to invest first if you are starting in your journey in Cryptocurrency, not only because it's because the first Cryptocurrency but also because of it's dominance in the market, and you will never have issues with liquidity.
684  Economy / Speculation / Re: This time when the stock market crashes, Bitcoin will go to moon! on: September 02, 2020, 04:27:52 PM

The supply accross exchanges found on public wallet trackers is 1,787,873 BTC. At this rate the supply on exchanges will continue to drop and the halvening magic will do the trick it does every 4 years.

This time people will sell their stocks and transfer money to bitcoin exchanges. Stock go down. Bitcoin goes up

It took a pandemic for these investors to make a big switch, it's more like a domino effect, when the news of the pandemic broke out, investors are looking for some haven to transfer after they liquidate and so they find Cryptocurrency , when things are not looking good every one is looking for the best option, and they find Cryptocurency as their best option.
685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will touch the high price in 2020? on: September 02, 2020, 03:17:38 PM
We'll see if that's going to happen on the month of November if the price by then reaches $17 k there's a possibility of another all time high before the end of the year, all my hopes are on 2021 I just follow the last halving price movement prior to the all time high and the probability of this to happen will be on the first quarter of the year.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM GAS FEES MIGHT NEVER GO DOWN AGAIN on: September 02, 2020, 12:44:01 PM
Despite it gain such adoption if this high price of transaction fees continues so many projects will abandon ETH. I want transfer token worth 200$ and gas fee was 35$, this is ridiculous. Currently , I prefer the trx network.

You are not the only one with this kind of issue it's the complaint of majority of traders and investors and investors are watching and waiting when things will go back to normal I'm using Doge and Banano Litecoin to trade to my local currency, I cannot even buy something online with my Ethereum, but I will never abandon Ethereum no way not at this point in time.
687  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your plans for the coming bull on: September 02, 2020, 07:22:48 AM
The 2016/17 bull run was just for about 9month and it hit around $20k, I never thought it will end so soon then, while I was still strategizing on how to get the best of it, the time was up, it was like a movie as it was sliding down gradually, hoping it will rise till today, the few project campaign I participate in then were just what payed me well, few of them dropped their token which I never touched till today because they have so much lost value, now as the bull run commences, let's say it runs for a year, how many project campaign do you plan to cover within the period?

It's because it's bull run that you will be comfortable investing in many projects, we are still not safe many developers are still creating a lot of scam projects and since there's a DeFi hype, expect many DeFi projects or old coins that will suddenly turns to DeFi, be always a wise investors anytime whether we are in bull or bear market.
688  Economy / Speculation / Re: History shows Bitcoin price may take 3-12 months to finally break $20K on: September 02, 2020, 06:42:36 AM
Your analysis could be right we are four after the halving and yet the price is in $11800 k level this is a good price compared to the first three months after the halving, we are doing great I'm satisfied on the movement as long as their is no huge price drop if your analysis turns out to be true then the first quarter of the year is the year when we will break the $20k level, I hope it will be earlier.
689  Economy / Economics / Re: Famine is coming next ... on: September 01, 2020, 04:30:53 PM
Every year we are visited by famines it become a part of our seasons, typhoons are more stronger and dry season are longer than it were than 2 decades ago, our government is spending a lot of money from this natural calamities, this is the reason why our government cannot sustain our other program because huge funds are allocated for calamities and famines.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miami Dade to open Casinos and Restaurants for the third time. on: September 01, 2020, 02:17:04 PM
I guess this time they are going to implement the health protocol correctly, the economy should not stop because people need to work make a living and provide services and products, the health experts have already set up everything that is needed to control the infection, and they just need to follow this strictly, this is the new normal now and we need to learn how to adapt.
691  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction 2020 on: September 01, 2020, 11:51:51 AM
everyone has their own predictions, so reading the article or not actually has no effect on market conditions only adds to other people's thoughts on recommended coins. I predict Bitcoin will still be stable at tens of thousands.

You are right it's been prediction here prediction there, and there are so many now, now that we are in the last quarter of the year, some people are making a lot of money doing prediction and some getting a lot of predictions, predictions is a good business and part of a highly volatile market like Cryptocurrency.
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COCK FIGHTING: COVID-19 health protocols violators, caught on: September 01, 2020, 09:25:26 AM
People cannot break their old habits especially in gambling but they need to understand the dangers if they are caught, the government and the police should set up example by putting to prison all offenders, they cannot manage the growing number of infected if they will not put to jail and fine violators, the government should show the people that they are serious in the campaign.
693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin Maximalists are Promoting/Shilling an Altcoin on: August 31, 2020, 01:35:47 PM
I don't see anything surprising here. I see this kind of hypocrisy every day and I'm used to it.

I've seen this done by John McAfee he used to shill Bitcoin very much even telling people that Bitcoin will reach $20 k this year, only to call Bitcoin a shitcoin later on, this is really expected, these people just realized that there are a lot of money from creating your token from Ethereum and where the money is, that's where they go.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your keys, your bitcoin? on: August 31, 2020, 09:34:32 AM
It's impossible to have a bitcoin address owned by two people unless the address is empty.
Assuming two people own the private key of an address containing bitcoin, one of them will move the fund to a new address. The owner will be the person who has the private key of the new address.
It's possible if the address happen to be owned by husband and wife and since it's a conjugal property, two persons can own one address and one private keys any court will rule that what husband owns or wife owns at the time of their marriage can be considered conjugal properties
I consider Bitcoin as both investment and assets.
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin such a big risk? on: August 31, 2020, 08:50:41 AM
Many people I know formed a bias that cryptocurrencies are inherently risky and you shouldn't invest in them more than you can afford to lose.

I agree with the above statement in a certain extent, but I'd like to ask the community. Is it riskier to place your money in Bitcoin or hold them in a fiat savings account? What's your opinion?

So curious to see the response especially today when we live in times of crisis.

There's really no safe investment, all investment have their own risk that is why experts will always advice you to always invest what you can afford to lose and always know your investment risk level, there is also risk involved investing in Bitcoin and altcoins but compared to other investment market, Bitcoin market has proven itself that it has lower risk  than all the other markets.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: August 30, 2020, 02:33:20 AM
I've been experimenting with betting on sports, and for now I don't see a difference between when I'm making an educated bet and just betting blindly looking only at the odds. It hasn't been long, however, so I'll keep experimenting.
My question is about a related matter. When I've asked in a different thread what is required to become a good bettor, many have mentioned that knowing the games, the teams and things like that is essential. But I'm sure there's a certain limit to this flow of information, and when this limit is reached, it's not useful and is even potentially harmful for making the decision. If a person is betting on a soccer match and reads about every match of every person on every team, plus weather forecast, plus research on home advantage etc., the amount of information can be overwhelming and probably not that important or useful to bet on the outcome a particular match. What do you think: is there a rule that would help not to drown in information but only focus on what is helpful? Or is it 'the more, the better' in your opinion?

How about setting up a system for this something like a computer analysis software I don't know if there is one available or you can customize one of your own, from there the AI or artificial intelligence software will just compare and analyze each team, or if you cannot afford one just subscribe to various experts and check everyone's analysis and compare it with yours to come out who will be the winner.
697  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Bitcoin Bull Run Will Be ‘Dramatically Different’ on: August 30, 2020, 02:14:56 AM
It will definitely be different as people are now well-informed and more adoption is in the crypto space. We might see the biggest bull run in the history of BTC soonest.

Gbrendeh every new bull run is bigger than previous one, it's one more reason for all of us to believe that the next bull run
will be more powerful than any we had before.
Winklevoss Twin's are well known in crypto-space, and I like their optimism about the future of the crypto-currencies. Bitcoin
will be huge, but it will pull all other good alt-coins, and the entire crypto-market will grow. I am optimistic as well, there's no
time for waiting, we need to accumulate more before it happens.
This is also what I believe in, it should be better because so many new projects have come to enhance the technology many new an dbig investors who have finally saw the potential of Bitcoin, people are not just investing in Bitcoin they are adopting it, if we move to another all time high I believe it will be permanent and it will not likely to go down.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legal Matter on: August 29, 2020, 05:59:59 PM
In today's time with everyone having access to internet it doesn't really matter where the casino is based, you can access it from anywhere. And if some websites are banned you can just use a VPN.
I think a country should not outright ban online casinos, better to control and regulate them. And also profit from tax revenues.

The internet did bring life to online gambling and they are more profitable then physical casinos in some ways, these two forms of gambling will not fade, there is market for offline casinos and there are also market for online casinos and this is as long as man earn enough money he will gamble whether online or offline.
699  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why don't more people invest in btc? on: August 29, 2020, 02:20:17 PM
I'm wondering why the general population hasn't yet caught on and started investing in bitcoin. These days people seem to be willing to immediately invest into the stock market, but not into any cryptos, when it has such a large potential in the future. Why is this the case?

They think it's to technical for them and they are not yet educated on how Cryptocurrency works peole are used to centralized system that that somebody who is good in explaining in a layman language can explain to them how Cryptocurrency works and how they are going to benefit from it, their families and their community as well.
700  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid 19 shows how weak People are in the it mind on: August 29, 2020, 01:21:14 PM
This covid 19  shows how weak People are in their mind instead of complaining everyone need to Think how They can benefit from this new situation.

Stop complaining and see this as Opportunity!

We have now more Opportunities then ever before!
I think this covid 19 is good time.
The banks giving now even more money!
And You do not need to worry about paying back loans just wait for 7-10 years and debt will expire.

There is so many Opportunities now

This is a wild idea what banks are those, that will lend you money and will let you just expire the loan, this pandemic will not last for years this could be over next year and after that it's back to normal, there's no way banks will let you loan without paying them, you will be defaulted and the court will confiscate your properties, you are just fooling yourself.
