21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Christmas on: September 30, 2020, 10:27:28 AM
We are already in "ber" months which it is a sign that we are fast approaching on Christmas day which is on December 25.
I have this on my mind that I'll start to prepare my present or gifts to some of my friends and family.

I want something related to Bitcoin like I will give a present that has related to Bitcoin, like some Angpao on Bitcoins? Paper wallets with Bitcoin inside? Or anything else.
So I am here asking for some opinion of yours, what's your suggestion for a present or gift for our loved ones for this upcoming Christmas?

For me I think FIAT is still better than Bitcoin if the person does not know how it works. Bitcoin as a present only works for those who are enthusiastic about cryptocurrency. They may lose or will be stolen if even you give them Bitcoin since they will not know the importance compared to FIAT hard cash which they can choose on what to do with it and that FIAT is very common.

Other options you can do is to buy them their favorite wants. Ask them for you to know what they really want this Christmas. Christmas is the spirit of giving so give what they want.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker started to eliminate tokens stolen from KuCoin on: September 29, 2020, 11:23:27 AM
If this hacker is not caught and he is able to cashout the stolen money then more people will be encouraged to do so and every exchange will be under threat so it is very important to track and punish this hacker otherwise vulnerability can increase.

I dont think at all that this will give a huge impact for other hackers to be encourage to hack exchanges. The hack could have been made professionally and could be similar to robbing a bank. Except this one is done online and for sure this has been planned.
Even if this hacker is caught, there will still be others who will continue to bypass securities and steals money from exchanges.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin a sure legacy on: September 28, 2020, 10:56:16 AM
I also believe that Bitcoin was a life saver not for me but also to my future successor. I want to trust my future on it as well. However, for some reason, I think I shouldn't rely on it too much because we still never know what future is ahead of it. That is why what am I going to do is to accumulate more profit as much as possible I can then perhaps I will purchase or make my own business through help of Bitcoin. In this way, I can guarantee that my assets will be fine in case worse happens.

Relax blckhawk for Bitcoin will always have a bright future no matter how I look at it. Especially if more people misplaces their Bitcoin wallet access then the more it will be scarce and for sure the price will continue to grow. Having a business is also a good option for Bitcoin is going to be a long term investment so having a business will help you survive your daily needs. But who knows, maybe, your business will make you buy more bitcoin.
24  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is a good option?? Trade or Hodl on: September 28, 2020, 09:52:28 AM
that very depends on your ambitions and plans for crypto. I prefer trading, coz I like the process. besides, DEFI is trendy opportunity now - you can check it. A lot of exchanges already start some platforms and list these tokens
heard that cex.io announced defi platform and enable credit card  purchase of tokens and they have zero fee campaign till september

Hope they extend it till next month, October. We're about to end September now so you should hurry up especially from what I know that CEX.io requires KYC?

My answer to OP's post is that have both ways. You need to trade whenever you see it benefits you for buying or selling the digital asset. Also you may need to hold on to a few digital assets too as you may never know when those assets will go boom.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: StellarPrize on: September 27, 2020, 01:12:08 PM
try to open an announcement thread with some nice graphics and introduction thats the only way to get customers. what i can see on the site now that is.
why did you choose stellarprize.bet and not something with com because almost all gambling sites are .com

CORRECTION: I think you meant stellarprize.net and not .bet, right?

Yeah, I too agree. Make it attracting and easy to read for everyone. Anyway I checked the current deposits and it seems only 1sr round has been initiated. Maybe because it is very new and people do not want to to lose both time and money. Also, the prize is too small for 50 XLM. Make it 500 XLM or bigger. Just a suggestion though but that also means players have to put bigger bets or that more players are needed in-order initiate the raffle draw.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: September 27, 2020, 11:41:45 AM
I hope this is not Changpeng Zhao making the poll. Ahahaha!

My vote goes to ETH of course. ETH has been there before BNB and that there are so many projects under ETH. There will be more coming with the ETH 2.0 coming this end of year of by first quarter of next year.

I prefer holding ETH than BNB though Binance now is very popular. I still have this feeling that ETH will rise to thousand dollars very soon as there are multiple projects working on it. I cant just tell when.

28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: September 26, 2020, 01:04:22 PM
Let's say I have a huge amount of money as an investor, where do I put them? Bitcoin or Gold

We all know that gold is known for its stability which could be vital in times of financial crisis; but doesn't exactly bring good return  WHILE Bitcoin on the other hand can be quite profitable  but it's risk of negative volatility can be catastrophic!

So which has your vote? Gold or Bitcoin!!!!

Looks like the vote has not ended yet. I think creating a POLL is much better for this.

Anyway my answer is Bitcoin. Gold price does not change big time compared to Bitcoin. Also, we are still in the early stage when we look at the big picture for Bitcoin. That there are still a lot of rooms for Bitcoin to grow. Unlike gold, where gold is gold and it is only use for jewelry or to something to make valuable. Note: I don't know much about gold really.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN Hacked on: September 26, 2020, 12:57:15 PM
It feels really devastating reading that kucoin has been hacked. I'm only happy that the hack would not affect the users funds, but 157 million dollars is not a small sum to walk over. Something really needs to be done about these incessant hacks. It's less than a month since we heard EterbaseExchange was hacked. I'm really not finding this hack issue funny. Every exchange should guard their assets more this period.

I think Eterbase Exchange does not have a solid security and can be easily hacked by skilled hackers. Compared to Kucoin which is already a known exchange for 3 years now. Good thing for Kucoin that they are going to pay the stolen assets. I also hope whoever is behind the hack will be caught or will not able to use the funds.

Looking at the hackers wallet there are still small transactions coming in. I think the hacker uses bot and automatically withdraws from all the wallets which got access to it.

30  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not sell under 20.000$ ! Why you do ? on: September 25, 2020, 12:18:06 PM
2 years have passed and yet BTC has not returned to $19K usd. So those who sold their BTC did the right choice if they needed that money for something else. Also, it would be better if those who bought will keep on trading as BTC price goes up and down frequently which gives better profit. Is there anyone from this thread who bought BTC at $19K? Anyone? I would like to find out how are you doing now.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ClipX steals KYC data and shuts down on: September 25, 2020, 12:03:47 PM
I knew it all along that this ClipX is just another scam project. Good thing I did not put myself into greed in joining multiple bounties.

Also, I notice with Bounty Detectives that they just accept any projects that applies to them and they don't care at all to the bounty hunters who suffers the most.

Those stolen KYC information will probably be sold to third parties for many uses.

The good part is that ClipX did return the investors funds as stated. (But not sure if they have fully refunded every investor.)

This should serve a lesson to all bounty hunters, newbies and oldies, that one must do intensive research before joining a bounty campaign.

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: update on unidapp scam accusation thread on: September 24, 2020, 12:14:07 PM

this is the scammers telegram i'd

Looks like a profile of a legit scammer. He has nothing to lose as there is no personal information on his telegram account. The team did the right decision their on not tolerating the demands of the blackmailer. It they gave cash, then for sure many other scammers or another account of the scammer will do the same thing. Those who say the scammer is shaming himself/herself, for sure he is not as he does not have anything to be ashamed of from that profile he is showing.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: September 24, 2020, 12:07:36 PM
Most altcoins are currently dimmed in value, but in certain altcoins  like ethereum, Litecoin, Doge, XRP, BNB and many more there are still interested people to trade, investors are still interested in these coins. Who survives then he is the strong though Bitcoin dominates, but altcoin must be able to survive in all situations if want to still get the hearts of traders and investors.

Altcoins are still important as a trading pair for Bitcoin so for sure they will never die. Though Bitcoin dominates the market today, I think this is only normal and that the dominance will just decrease whenever investors starts buying Altcoins again. A lot of DeFi altcoins are trending right now so that will surely bring down BTC's dominance.

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PI Network! A huge trap[Warning!] on: September 23, 2020, 03:36:28 AM
Hello there OP, just seen this topic, I'm actually mining on pi but thanks to this warning thread.
I become more aware and probably consider quitting from it since the "my" mined Pi will just get stucked on phase 2 if I did not pass a KYC.
And I don't prefer passing any. I wouldn't compromise my privacy just for such possible small earning.

And now this PI network have more than 8 MILLION people guys, when this was trap or thieve for some data on member phone, than its gonna be big scandal as facebook scandal with cambridge analytica case. But whats? some people dont care about this and  people like me believe there is no privacy again with our data,, google, facebook, twitter etc have those data Shocked

Those social media like Facbook and Twitter, doesn't require you to pass KYCs. They are not also giving people a little bit of hope to earn from mining on their phone "offline".
On the otherhand, Pi does requiring it's users to pass their KYC forms so they can evaluate them if they are real humans or not, which is much dangerous if you really care for your privacy.
In facebook, you can just use any names and pictures, but in KYCs you can't, if you pass such form, then they already had your human data.
They already know you. Your name. Your location. Everything that is required on KYC form. So think before giving them your sensitive personal info.

KYC has been re-enforced because a lot of cheaters have been caught in the APP. If your privacy and personal info is so important than better stay away from it.
Facebook and Twitter are totally different because they earn through ads and traffic. While Pi Network does not earn anything except from it's supporters.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 ETH Puzzle! on: September 23, 2020, 03:13:13 AM
So many compaints I see above. Guys, the reward is 100 ETH. Of course it is going to be difficult. If someone easily solves it then it is not worth it. If you guys have nothing to contribute then just leave it alone. Nobody forced you guys to solve the puzzle. It is for those who got time to solve and wants some challenge.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rate a Newbie Crypto Portfolio on: September 22, 2020, 08:51:21 AM
Well, newbies like you maybe not afraid of risks, because you chose to own altcoins than bitcoin.
It is ok, as long you can afford to lose what you invested on, then you will be good.
Zilliqa, i think that is the best coin in your portfolio. Why not invest on ETH ? The upcoming update seems promising to me.

That is why it is called portfolio because they are a collection of assets. Also, there is nothing wrong with his portfolio as any project can go boom anytime. From what I know, Polkadot is a good altcoin as it rivals Ethereum. The upcoming Ethereum 2.0 will lower down the Ethereum fees which is very high right now, however, a lot of altcoins is also in the act of competing Ethereum's blockchain like Quarkchain.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Im planning to invest in Ethereum. Is this a good plan? on: September 21, 2020, 01:42:58 PM
The best thing is first to read about Ethereum before you invest. It is a rule for every altcoin before you plan to invest. But it is a good plan! Ethereum should be in every portfolio.

Since you are advising to have an Ethereum in every portfolio. What percentage should we have in terms of dominance within the portfolio? Noting that there is this Ethereum 2.0 coming by end of year or by first month of 2021. I would really like to have an idea because right now I am not sure which to hold and how much to hold. I have like 6 ETH only since I am not rich. But hoping I get some good profit if ever I get the right advise. Send me a PM if you are eager to advise me. Thanks!
