501  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Payout Updates] Bitcoinica site is taken offline for security investigation on: June 14, 2012, 10:06:41 PM
I do trust that they realize that partial payments to a preferred class of favorites HOWEVER THAT GROUP WAS ARRIVED AT will only serve to infuriate those that were not in the select group. Sorry lads, but when you took on the business you took on the responsibility, and if you have started making payments at any level, you better be making them to everybody who has filed a claim- its YOUR records that are goofed up, through YOUR mistakes and lack of responsibility and reasonable care in handling your investors value. YOUR CRIMINAL lack of responsibility and reasonable care in handling  your investors instruments of value.

If that sounds like junior legalese- its because it is. You cannot just arbitrarily decide that some of your buddies/big investors/round 0 customers get different treatment than others. If it is as bad as you claim, then the only proper course of action is to make proportional restitution to all claimants from all funds available. That includes investment equity from your private placement, that includes liquidating any value for intellectual property that you may have sold/licensed/pledged as collateral in a secondary round of investment capitalization, that includes liquidating any and all physical assets of the concern. That's what a Court will require you to do, and that is where you are heading with this debacle.

And a public pledge that every single one of the incompetents that ran this confidence scheme into the ground will never again offer any kind of a speculative "investment" scheme to the bitcoin world would be a very nice touch.

502  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows/osx 2.4.2 on: June 14, 2012, 04:49:03 PM
-Linux binaries now compiled for Ubuntu 12.04
Perfect timing, I was just about to upgrade to 12.04. Smiley

Don't know about you but I had a hell of a time trying to compile 2.4.3 on older Ubuntu versions as the 2.4.3 binary gave me an error and would not work at all.

I finally managed to get it to compile with the OpenCL detection working on my rigs :

Code:
CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -march=native -I /opt/ati-stream-sdk-v2.1-lnx64/include" LDFLAGS="-L /opt/ati-stream-sdk-v2.1-lnx64/lib/x86_64" ./configure
for an older rig

Code:
CFLAGS="-O3 -Wall -I$AMDAPPSDKROOT/include" LDFLAGS="-L${AMDAPPSDKROOT}lib/x86_64" ./configure
for a newer rig

Thanks but why not stay with 11.04 as nobody is using 12.04 because it sucks for mining Undecided
503  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: June 14, 2012, 03:50:20 PM
When can we lock this thread and just stop the trolling here in the Meta subforum? I'm sick and tired of bulanula's attention seeking.

People have the right to know I am a scammer !

Please carry out your big boss mr vip "staff" training on the other spammers in the noob locals forums.

K thx bai ! Cheesy
504  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: ASIC = The end of decentralized mining on: June 14, 2012, 01:17:27 PM
I have no intentions on buying FPGA or ASICs

Same here. Don't have faith in this boat ... I think ASIC is the final push to sinking Cheesy
505  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Why is a PCIE latency rise required for many GPUs??? on: June 14, 2012, 12:19:26 PM
Perhaps in my case because they're all running on 16x slots and they're 7970s I hit the limit earlier.

Yeah shouldn't be too big of an issue since it's working for you now.

That's a pretty good thought.  Must be why some mobos reduce the speed as you add more cards.

So the solution is to use only x1 risers to force x1 speeds and avoid x16 negotiations ?
506  Other / Off-topic / Re: 1000 BTC Donation to www.bitcointalk.org on: June 14, 2012, 12:04:52 PM
I smell a scammer tag coming...

Nope, only real scammers like me have the priviledge ...

Good offtopic Bitcoin entertainment Wink
507  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: June 13, 2012, 02:39:41 PM

508  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: June 13, 2012, 02:29:08 PM
1. Evidence that Bulanula owns the address:
How is this a scam :

-ad was still there until theymos removed it yesterday

-coins still in the address here http://blockchain.info/address/1Bu1424Lf7y3Jz9p4ZyCo2mRSQDwdaXrHa

-I never told him to give me ANYTHING; he claims he sent me 25 BTC by mistake LOL

He made a mistake and sent me 1 million BTC and I am the scammer Huh

He is using the fact that the Bitcoins have not moved out of that address as evidence that he does not deserve the scammer tag (thus implying that he would have moved the Bitcoins out of that address if he was a scammer, thus implying that he owns the address.)

2. Also implies that Bulanula owns the address.
I want my Coins back.   1PpfNWARwRuU5t8ZkgsU9wpyXyRxRKNxQq

After them you can get your Account on BTC-E back and we try to delete your Scam Flag here ...

Nice to see you have changed your attitude. Too late after I am the joke of the forum ...

When are you going to try and hack into my computer and take the BTC ?

When are you going to try and compute the private key ?

When are you hiring the hitman ?

Can I have that avatar, at least ?

When is the DDOSing stopping ?

3. Why the heck would you give someone an address that you knew was a black hole for payment for services/goods? That doesn't make any sense. Or why would you be so careless as to "lose" the wallet file for the address that contained 25 BTC?

No one actually believes the bullshit he's spewing anyways. I'd say we lock this thread and let him keep his scammer tag.

+1. And have mods delete all new topics/posts started by Bulanula related to this issue.

I need cryptographic proof that I own that address.

Until coins move from there it is a black hole and you are trolling.

Again, why?  They can't keep up with the orders they have now, why would they need more unhappy customers?  Assuming their ASIC plans come to fruition as planned, they are literally going to be the only game in town.  For better or worse, you can deal with them or you can deal with no one at that point, so again, what's the incentive on their part?

Once again, I'm not disagreeing with the sentiment, but the hard realities of business clash with ideals.

This scares me a little bit.

Mining monopoly ? No thanks !

Mining hardware monopoly.  Much less harmful, and a temporary situation.

I don't like ANY monopoly ... free market fail.

Goat = gigavps !

WOW

Now that is even BIGGER NEWS!

Bulanula please give us evidence to support this outrageous claim you have made that Goat and GigaVPS are one and the same!

Keep trolling. Way to take it out of context.

Goat has nothing to do with gigavps.
513  Other / Off-topic / Re: 1000 BTC Donation to www.bitcointalk.org on: June 12, 2012, 02:20:07 AM
lmfao

people who have hot women as their avatar picture on this forum are either trying to do one of two things

a) make you think they are a woman

b) make you think they are dating a hot woman

and in either case you can know 100% of the time it is not true.

What about gigavps and his "wife" or Goat ? Hehe !

WOW GIGAVPS'S WIFE IS REALLY GOAT??? NOW THATS BIG NEWS!

Wrong. Goat also had pictures of his wife and him on this forum to build credibility. Just like gigavps.

Show me where I said Goat = gigavps !
514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm terrified, I lost all my savings in mtgox. on: June 12, 2012, 01:53:46 AM
Good luck... I am still missing $10,000 and it's coming up on a month now.  There's very strong evidence that MTGox does not have much in the way of USD and those with large withdrawals are actually funding the smaller withdrawals.. the large withdrawers are going to end up shafted.

Dude I am telling you it is the AML policy. No dodgy solvency issues here man !

MtGox is NOT to blame here. They are honest and 100% transparent.

Big boss like you with a load of $$$ no wonder they call you a criminal when you got ball and $10k Cheesy

You must do something criminal to have so much dough ! Cheesy

Inaba, watch what you say because forum is owned by MtGox so if you are complaining they cut you off the air Wink

If you check my thread, you'll see they sent me a support message asking if I wanted to cancel the withdrawal and then take it out in BTC (of course, paying a nice hefty fee in the conversion process back to MTGox, how kind of them.) - so it's not AML... since if it were, they wouldn't be able to cancel the withdrawal.

Check your sarcasm detector mate.

MtGox clearly is having serious solvency issues and blaming it on BS like AML or Dwolla delays.

Can't wait to get me popcorn and watch the ship sink in the next coupla days.

516  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do you use Bitcoins? on: June 11, 2012, 11:08:51 PM
I use it to anonymously scam the mugu over the copper lines.

Much more efficient than USPS and Western Union mind you !
517  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: June 11, 2012, 11:06:13 PM
Bulanula, will you do everyone a favour and just fuck off?

Why ? I really don't understand why nobody likes me ...

Anyway, not going anywhere soon unless you pay me !

518  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2012-06-11 businessinsider.com - And Now Europeans Are Dumping Euros For Bitcoin on: June 11, 2012, 10:49:05 PM
BS, what numbers are they basing their claims?
Phantasy?

Yeah. I call BS on that too.

BTC is a game. EUR is established.

Would be dumb trading the crappy EUR for an even crappier BTC. It's like jumping from a tower.

BTC is riskiest asset ever. EUR not so much.
519  Other / Off-topic / Re: Rugatu.com - Your signature is worth our bitcoins ! on: June 11, 2012, 10:37:40 PM
i don't get it. what is rugatu.com?  what's the utility of the website?

Stupid spamming the forum site.

Stackexchange is much better.

Annoying name too.

Not trolling but some good critique for the OP to consider.

BUY SOME FORUM AD SPACE !

Stop the "friendly" Rugatu and "vite" member spamming about the silly noob questions everywhere on the damn forum ...
520  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Watercooling with indoor faucet/plumbing on: June 11, 2012, 10:25:55 PM
It actually does sound somewhat like an interesting idea worth exploring at first, though not for the long term. If you use a well or septic tank for the water it would be a fanless system, except the water having passed through the loop the first time should not return to septic tank. Either it goes down the drain or back to nature. The idea of multiple heat exchangers would keep the computer loop cool.  As for wasting water, you probably won't use close as much as a sprinkler system or two to three cycles on a washing machine if flow is managed. A bit unorthodox of a method, but I guess as you said, its just a concept.

LOL the well has an electric pump. Someone is paying for that constant electricity usage for it to pump water ...

Stupid idea in summary. Use radiator !
