1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: More people around the world now favour China over the US. on: August 13, 2026, 10:19:23 PM
There are countries who are trying to make a good relationship with both China and US because they want to have access to market, investment, and security partnership with technology. Because of the US recent activities, it has created different opening for China to expand their diplomatic and economic influence all over the world. But still US has major advantage because of their alliensis they have advantages in different field and global partnership with others. The main risk is not that every country is suddenly switching their sides, but the more countries decide they have less reason to automatically align with the United States.
Even the US itself cannot do without China, especially from an economic point of view. The last time Trump tried to fuck around with a tariff war, he exactly found out why the US needs China more than China needs the US
China has captured a vast amount of the global market while the US tried to isolate itself by imposing sanctions, thinking it was punishing the adversaries but instead accelerating China's growth.
2  Economy / Reputation / Re: 5 accounts cheating casino bitcointalk promo on: August 13, 2026, 09:46:52 PM
I am wondering if this user was missed for a negative tag, bc he seems to be a farmed account as well or maybe even the farmer?
The account is still active in the forum like nothing happened and seems to hope that people forget about it.
Or did he already say something about it somewhere? Idk. Just asking for a friend...  Roll Eyes
If you are talking about the username you highlighted in red, then I did try to ask for a response in the other thread, but the explanation in the reply was a bit hard to understand and I didn't watn to derail that thread. I think he needs to clearly clearly explain what happened. Here is what he said.

Yes, although at first I wasn't seeing the post because I was mentioned later through an edit, so maybe I didn't receive the notification. Later, the respected member (lovesm....) PM me and then I saw the matter, I myself also couldn't understand what had actually happened and at the same time I started my own investigation.

I saw that I had no idea about the people who were caught because of the (IP) issue and it was also confirmed that there was no similarity with them regarding the (IP) issue. Later, even after asking the project representative, I did not get anything like that. Then I also thought about whether there had been any problem regarding any transaction with someone from my local area and then it came to my mind that maybe someone was trying to put me in trouble, nothing more than that.

I'm completely sure that someone is trying to put me in trouble and trying to ruin my deputation. I saw that even on a post where I would never get any merit, someone gave merit there. And I had reported the person who gave that merit for merit abuse, the people whom I reported are trying to put me in trouble by giving merit from an account and another person tried to damage my reputation by saying nonsense. The person who is doing these things also has an account farming scandal on the forum.

Shared these things from the place of transparency and there is no point in doing something like this for such a small bonus. The platform is giving some bonus, but I also run different kinds of price prediction events with my own funding, maybe you have noticed that.
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Two major domain registries are offline. Namecheap and Namesilo on: August 13, 2026, 08:04:50 PM
There is no announcement from Namesilo

NameSilo also just posted an update a few moments back

https://x.com/namesilo/status/2087986337366286709
It turns out they both share the same data centre provider (https://phoenixnap.com), located in Phoenix, Arizona. I think this explains why both domain registries are experiencing the blackout.
4  Other / Meta / Re: ⭕️ BitList.co - Bitcointalk Archive | Data Visualization & Search 🔍 [Ninjastic] on: August 12, 2026, 09:48:06 PM
This user's signature ban was recently revoked, but on the bitlist profile we can still see "signature banned — 07 Aug 2026"

Shouldn't we have some other line where it indicated when the signature ban was revoked?

And also for those accounts that have active signature bans, maybe adding a date when the ban will end.
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BK8 Suspends Account after 3292USDT withdrawal on: August 12, 2026, 09:24:10 PM
Hmm, yeah, they informed me weeks ago that they need greenlights for several evidences to be shared with me. I nudged them a couple of times for a follow ups and for the said evidence.

I'll put a neutral on their profile just to get people informed that there is an ongoing case against them, and will nudge them again.
It's terrible if they won't even share the evidence with platforms that are meant to help settle the dispute in a fair manner. What do they have to lose if they made the investigations and are very sure of the evidence indicating the person complaining is in the wrong? How are other people then supposed to know if the actions they took were fair or not?
If I were from the same region, I would avoid the casino.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Harmony chain exploited (again) on: August 12, 2026, 08:59:11 PM
I don't know if it's just me, but the hacks are becoming so rampant at the time when the different AI models are on a race to be at the top. I think the AI tools are making the job of hackers or bad actors much easier and much firster to identify exploits

These kinds of exploits were not so common some 3-4-5 years back, but now every passing them, you get to see these stories more and more.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP bridge drained for $200,000 after software mistook fake deposit for real one on: August 12, 2026, 08:49:03 PM
Most of the recent attacks have AI written all over them, and the bad thing is that some developers of some projects have been too lazy. All they do is copy paste code or smart contract codes and do not carry out proper auditing. The attacks are obviously bound to happen on multiple platforms.

We are in the rough times of exploits and hacks.

8  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Legamentex.com — Cryptocurrency Exchange Service with 300+ Coins on: August 11, 2026, 09:59:46 PM
So you are saying that you are automatically synced with global liquidity and also giving the latest price update on this forum(manually). Which one should we believe?
It is a fake exchange, and I would not feel sorry for anyone who fell for it. The issue of their fake prices has been brought up before, and they never bothered to correct it, which means that the whole thing is intentional and not an error. They have those stupid predatory buy and sell rates to trap potential victims. Members should avoid this exchange.
9  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Hashfactory.io is another fake cloud mining service!!! on: August 11, 2026, 09:54:46 PM
Tagged and flag supported

All of us know that almost all of these so-called cloud mining services are fake and after I felt they were overexplaining themselves,
They even had to use AI to do the convincing. Lazy scammers  Grin

The home page alone signals the classic scam kind of websites. They claim they have a history, but you won't be able to see any additional evidence backing up their claims. No legitimate physical address or even pictures.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help for a newbie to get started on: August 11, 2026, 09:26:45 PM
The focus mostly is on profitability, and so mining values are indicated in USD. However, you can try out these two crypto mining calculators since you are focused on quantity. Make sure you focus on the estimated rewards part, and you will see some coins with big estimated reward figures, but profitability in USD is in most cases negative.

11  Other / Meta / Re: Signature campaign tempban on: August 10, 2026, 09:53:28 PM
Why are signature campaigns becoming an issue all of a sudden?

OP, you had an option to appeal for the signature ban, and if I recall well, it appears you had accepted your fate about being sig banned instead of appealing and trying to reason it out with Nutildah on why you didn't deserve the ban. Do you think it's fair to disrupt forum activity even if it's for a day just because something unfortunate happened to you?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping SOL from going mainstream and skyrocketing in price on: August 07, 2026, 09:55:43 PM
Maybe because the altcoin season, what we were all used to never happened this round?
Even the memecoin boom did not do so much to its price, as there were so many other alternative chains where memecoins could be created from, so the attention was not only on solonas but also on other chains
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2026/27 Season on: August 07, 2026, 09:41:04 PM
No, it's not just PSG that should be feared and beaten. Bayern are also one of the teams with a very strong squad. As we can see, Bayern have made no changes to their core lineup, and their attack is incredibly sharp, capable of beating any team.

As for Real Madrid not wanting PSG to match their record of winning 3 consecutive Champions League titles, that will be a very difficult task. With a new coach and several changes to the squad, it's unrealistic to expect a significant improvement in just one season.
Mark my word. PSG is not winning it for the third consecutive time. Arsenal just had one job to do, and they just decided to capitalise in the final. It's not only Real Madrid that is supposed to stop PSG. There are lots of other promising teams out there, and they are reinforcing their squads.

Bayer Munich is not a bad contender as well, but then there are Barcelona, maybe Arsenal, Manchester City and many more.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: August 07, 2026, 09:27:05 PM
This is really hilarious, Barcelona going for Rodri? Wow, now what if it happens Barcelona later have him in their squad? That will be a very big issue for Real Madrid because with what Rodri did in the midfield in the just concluded FIFA world cup I'm afraid Real Madrid is likely to go trophy less this season once again, like why did this deal actually take this long for Real Madrid to finalize, it's unlike them in terms of signing players, let's just wait and see how it goes, because with the competition with the two rival teams I can say Manchester City is about to cash out big from them.
Real Madrid definitely calculated the risks and thought it was not worth it to spend a lot of money on Rodri... he is already over 30 and also a player who is prone to getting injured. What are the chances that he signs for Barca and becomes bedridden for a long time? The chances are so high IMO. Rela Madrid got burnt by the Edin Hazard deal  Grin, I don't think they would want to repeat that sooner.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: More people around the world now favour China over the US. on: August 07, 2026, 08:56:15 PM
I totally disagree with you, Iran has been a threat to Europe, America and Israel. This so called regime in Iran has an agenda to islamize the world, they sponsor a lot of rebels around the world. They have the hezbolla in Lebanon, they have the hamas in Palestinian, they have the houthi in Yemen, they have the boko haram in Nigeria. If America allows Iran to have a nuclear weapon, there will be a serious crisis in the world.

I just want to ask you, which country has actually used nuclear weapon to kill hundreds of thousand of innocent people so far?

Do you have any evidence or basis for being so sure that Iran having nuclear weapon would cause a major crisis for the world? Or are you just repeating the misleading propaganda coming from the US and the West?

And finally, do you really think the US would invade Iran just because of nuclear weapon? If you believe that, you're being pretty naive.
Bro, some people's brains are so caged that they can't think beyond the western propaganda  Grin. Sometimes I just feel sorry for them. Like, how does someone completely fail to get their head out of the United States ass and think straight for once in this modern era where there is information everywhere?

All the do is justify the killing of innocent people and stupid invasions based on assumptions.
16  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Localcoinswap - Questions on: August 07, 2026, 08:43:39 PM
For example the offer requires payment with: Revolut (United States) but I’m not from the United States are you still able to buy this offer? Any downsides or the country doesn’t matter?
If you have a Revolut account registered in your name and also accepting the same currency as your counterparty's, then it's OK. The biggest problem usually is converting that USD to the local fiat currency in your country of residence

It's not as easy as it seems. I tried doing arbitrage trading sometime back and met lots of hiccups regarding this.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2026/2027 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: August 06, 2026, 09:59:29 PM
We wanted Arsenal to win at one point, but they were struggling to stay consistent. Even during the most recent season, I wasn't sure if Arsenal would be able to win, but in the end, they won the Champions League, which is what I wanted them to win because they haven't been able to do so. But it also took them years to win the Premier League.
Dude, do you even know what you are talking about, or are you from a parallel universe? I don't remember Arsenal winning the Champions League... Do you? Whom did they play in the final to win it?

Arne Slot may not even have a chance to win the championship this year because, as you mentioned, it will be a competitive season and everyone needs to be ready.
Arne Slot is still a coach at Liverpool? Man, what are you talking about?
18  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this two account is alt :) on: August 06, 2026, 09:24:45 PM
It's the use of the "suddenly" that got me. Like he was so surprised. Yeah I saw the 22 merits and what just flashed through my mind was,...
A surprising incident like this happened to me as well and the account of the person who did it had a very bad history. Since I reported and made a post after seeing the misuse of merit, he also sent me several merits and thought he could try to include me in the merit abuse. But it did not end there. Even now and then he keeps trying to put me in trouble like this and it can be understood.

In the latest post, there was nothing that would deserve merit but he specifically targeted me and gave me two merits. The matter is ridiculous.
Just so you know, your name appears in another thread accusing multiple accounts of cheating in some contest ---> 5 accounts cheating casino bitcointalk promo
Since you are a regular of the reputation board, we expected you to have replied in that thread by now, but you haven't. We want to hear what you have to say about that incident. Have you also been cheating on contests just like the others that have been caught?
19  Other / Meta / Re: Mixer restrictions on: August 06, 2026, 09:07:58 PM
...So everyone involved should consider carefully whether they trust omnisee, in that case.

It is now a matter of trust. Do you trust omnisee that they will not try playing smart in the future. I think the campaign manager has to give participants this re-assurance.

Even at that, the campaign manager has to trust omnisee on a personal ground and also on behalf of the campaign participants. I wonder how many people will be willing to play the trust game.
Or simply just don't even think of ever marketing or advertising them here. They should now be in some sort of forum blacklist. By the time they included the mixer link on their website, they knew exactly what they were doing.
20  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitMart Exchange scammed all users on: August 06, 2026, 08:48:07 PM
Sorry, no way you can withdraw your coins on the exchange except the exchange give you the privilege. Not your keys not your coins.

I have bad experience about the exchange in the past and that was the last time I used it. Luckily I also had bad experience on BitMex also which made me not to use the exchange again.
I suppose you meant BitMart? The 3 (bitmart, Bitmex, BitMax (ascendex) can be quite confusing, and they decided to stop service around the same time

Why don't you check if their P2P features is still available? Maybe you can withdraw the coins as fiat instead..
Who do you think would want to buy coins they can't withdraw unless they are really dumb or just set a ridiculously low buy price? Everyone is looking for a way of moving funds out of the exchange that has decided to shut down its operations, so there is definitely just an outflow of funds.
