Are the airdrop amount tied to the amount of tokens you already own? or are they distributed equally amongst all applicants?
It's based on what you own. The more ETH and EBYTE in your registered airdrop wallet, the more EBYTE you receive from the next airdrop that is snapshotted tomorrow. Receiving of the airdrop can take a few days, but the snapshot is tomorrow. THE DISTRIBUTION The mass adoption of a cryptocurrency relies totally on consensus and requires a total distribution, that's why we are realeasing 95% of Ebytes for free. The distribution will be issued through a series of so-called "Airdrops". The third distribution will be on January 31st. The amounts everyone who apply for the Airdrop will receive are proportional to the balance of ETH and EBYTE on the distribution date: For every ETH you will receive 0.01 EBYTE For every 1 EBYTE you will receive an additional 0.2 EBYTE (20%) |

Whichever way allows a ton of different people WHO are dedicated to the project and not just looking to make a mint.
P.S. Anyone interested in captchas is people still gamed that system with amazon turk and earned huge amounts of XRB.
i agree on that. It's stupid to airdrop to some big BTC holders who just dont care about Stone project  True, most BTC holders are anti-any other token.. and have gotten to the point where they feel "entitled" to these free "dividends" Please don't give them airdrops, if anything chose XRB for sure, for obvious reasons - that's why Stone has interest right now, and maybe Ethereum holders or something, as they seem a little more open to the full-scope of the crypto-ecosystem. |

Any idea what kind of rewards we're looking at after solving one captcha? What kind of rate can we expect to earn when solving captchas?
We're looking at something similar to RaiBlocks' rate, such as the faucet giving out a max of 17,000 MANTA per hour to all users combined. As for rewards per solve, it would be dependent on how many solves have been done in the current hour, although we predict the reward to be ~6-10 MANTA per 100 solves. That means the faucet will go on for about 245 days? 75 percent of supply is 100m, with 408 000 given out everyday. My apologies, I meant to type 170,000. 170000 per hour is about 2800 per minute. The reward would be about 10 Manta per 100 solved captchas, so 0.1 Manta per captcha. A human could probably solve an average of 4 (non-trivial) captchas per minute, so you get 0.4 Manta per minute per person. So, 2800 Manta per minute means that 7000 people would have to solve captchas every minute, for an entire month (or whatever it's going to last). The verify: 7000 people * 4 captchas per minute * 60 minutes in an hour * 10 Manta per captcha / 100 captchas = 168000 (close to 170000 Manta per hour) If we presume that all these people would work 8 hours every day, we have 21000 distinct people who would do only this for a month. Therefore, the average would be 6300 Manta per person (133 millions / 21000 people). Considering the stated rate of about 1 cent per Manta, a person would have to work for a month to get the equivalent of 63 USD. For those who don't intend to solve captchas for a month to get the equivalent of 63 USD, the question is: will there be an exchange available at the start? This seems very tedious, frankly. Almost ridiculous. Would there instead be a way to only use the captcha once every hour or so? I've seen other faucets do this, they require an account or verification of sorts to best avoid spamming (nothing is perfect of course) Maybe a few options, something like: 1 per hour 10 per 12 hours 18 per 24 hours Either way, this whole faucet thing reeks of gotcha mobiles games, waking up in the middle of the night to min-max your spendable points. Surely, there is a better way? Maybe the captcha itself can only come online once a day with a set allocation, ie every day at noon the captcha wallet is refilled with 10000 manta, or however many - to ensure that the captcha will 'sell-out' everyday (maybe over a couple hours) |

For distrubtion,
I recommend airdrop to XRB holders, also traditional ANN airdrop with maybe a 5,000 limit (also to grow your Twitter / Discord), and some tokens to be used as node incentive for the first 1-5 years.

MantaCurrency, hello! AzulikProject says that At this stage we confirm that Colin's words were right, it's not possible to apply privacy to XRB as we kown it today ( zkSNARKs).
Adding the privacy feature is harder than it may look, simply applying a ZK-SNARKs protocol (the underlying protocol of Zcash) would make the transaction time increase a lot. What do you think about this? While it's not possible to simply slap on zkSNARKs and have it work at the speed of RaiBlocks, with our unique implementation, we've made it possible to have 10-15 second transaction speeds utilizing distributed ledgers and zkSNARKs. Logo design has changed. What do you intend to express with it what is behind the design?
We intended to convey stealth and speed with the dark tones, sleek design, and geometric outlines while outlining shape of the Manta Ray which is what our currency was named after. I mean, that is cool you've done that - but it seems unworthy of a coin when things like PIVX can do 50/tps. |
