Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finding the person who has received 1 billion dollar is likely possible

Is this really a transaction of a certain "person"? I highly doubt it is. 1 Billion USD in Bitcoin alone and owned by a single person? This is unlikely. My hunch is that this is owned by an institution or a company. Or do you think it is just a coincidence that after the move Bakkt announced its opening of its Bitcoin warehouse? "It looks like the address of an entity like Bakkt or perhaps VanEck..." Source: https://www.trustnodes.com/2019/09/06/bakkt-opens-warehouse-hours-after-94000-bitcoin-moveIts definitely a possibility that this is owned by a single person, there is a lot of hidden wealth in the world. The forbes list is not the true list of wealthiest people in the world. If I was sending these types of amounts I would be checking the address 20 times and would still be super nervous about doing it correctly even though I've sent and received bitcoin many times in the past.

No trader will be right 100 percent of the time and few people will be able to make a consistent profit over time. The suggested strategy for noobs is to just buy and hold, works for people in the stock market and the crypto market.

The vast majority of people need to give in order to be truly happy. The rare disabled/ill/elderly person who doesn't want to give anything isn't going to disrupt the entire system or radically change human nature. You clearly have never lived in a commune.
Humans are generally very giving, we evolved in communities and we had to be generous and kind to others. But now is a completely different ball game, the people in power have amassed vast amounts of wealth when they would of been the type to have been outcasts from their tribes.

Not sure if any of you are familiar with an online video game called Runescape but Venezuelans have flocked to that game in mass in order to farm video game gold and sell it for real money. They make much more farming gold, up to 10x the amount than they would make working a regular job in their economy.
If there is any opportunity to get easy money, then quite a large number of people show themselves in these actions. Who wants to work physically, If there is an opportunity to come up with something easier. To me that is not an example of people trying to get easy money, that is an example of people choosing an unorthodox way of making money since their economy is completely destroyed by the economic decisions of their leaders, I have always found incredible how politicians can destroy countries that are so rich and with so many natural resources, how they could crash the economy when they have the largest reserves of oil in the world? An effective politician could even find a way to run a small government just based on the oil profits and tourism. I think it is still better than hard physical labor out in the sun all day. Grindy video games are very popular even though you just repeat the same task over and over. If there was no onw to buy those vritual items in the first place they wouldn't be farming them.

We're definitely not bad at gambling.
He might not able to see it yet he do generalize in all sorts of things when it comes to gambling.Even on the simplest decision in life do correspond some sort of gamble which we would really need up to make such selection into things. False, humans are awful at gambling: it’s a scientific fact whether you like it or not. It’s the reason casinos do so well and why the casino business is a billion dollar industry. Here is one of many huge articles containing numerous studies highlighting the psychology behind gambling. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3858640/There are different types of gambling. Gambling on something like slots or roulette takes zero skill and is purely luck. The odds are obviously against you are the game wouldn't be there in the first place, over the longrun you will end up with a negative balance if you play enough games.

The exchanges and casinos are often left without a choice when government regulations come down on them and they are forced to get your personal information or they will have to close up shop for good.

So eared a rumor about Neymar to Juventus, anyone knows anything?
The price for FFP is 127 m €, not so high. I really hope he goes to Real so They can't probably take Pogba too (Pogback #hype)
I heard Neymar may possibly go to the Los Angeles Galaxy but I doubt that is true. He might follow in the footsteps of Beckham and create more hype for American soccer.

Wow Jalen thinks the Warriors will sink to the 7th spot after years of dominating the western conference. I predicting the Lakers to finish in first, Lebron will have a strong fire burning after missing the playoffs last year and he got to rest after so many deep playoff runs year after year.

Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "how to" of building a gambling site

There are books on how to build altcoins but I don't see any in-depth guidance on how to build a gambling site. It seems to be all trial and error. If you know of any technique or site or forum I would appreciate hearing about it.
Do you intend to do that yourself? I am not sure he would be able to build a whole gambling site by himself if he doesn’t first have the technical knowledge, gambling application is not so easy like building an ordinary website, it requires lots of coding to do so, and I am not also sure that only him can do it alone, the best would be for him to hire application developers that would do so for him, and if he intends to run it on blockchain technology, he might have to hire a blockchain developer. If he has a bit of the knowledge, the best place for him to learn more is to follow tutorials for doing so on YouTube, I am very sure that we have lots of gurus that would have upload a video on how to do so on YouTube and give him other great ideas. Its actually quite simple and doesn't cost much to start up. There are a lot of competitors that will do everything to discourage more newcomers as they steal away their customers. It is one of the easiest businesses to start.

Being selfless means you care more about others than yourself. The change can only come from within. Study Eastern philosophies, learn more about human animals.
I am afraid your Bronze Age, psychopathic maniac will not help you to achieve any form of enlightenment.
I agree that change can only come from within. We clearly disagree about God. Have a nice afternoon af_newbie But is there really such thing as a selfless act because you are helping others to feel better about yourself? So isn't it ultimately about yourself.

The era of video phones has really helped change law enforcement as they are scared of committing wrongdoing and having evidence of it.
It is really tricky to put a dollar amount on a wrongful death. No amount of money can ever bring that person back to life.
Insurance is really just gambling but the odds are against you or they wouldn't do business with you in the first place.
I'm not sure how men searching only men and women searching only women has any affect with the large amount of gay and trans people around, shouldn't really matter.
