The problem is that p2p is already possible for files without the blockchain and if you need verification for files you can place a hash into the current BTC protocol. I'm not an expert, but I cannot think of a purpose which the blockchain can serve in the instance of a distributed file system.

The size of the blockchain would be a huge issue here.

Wow, I've only lost 3 BTC to Bit365, I feel bad for the people who lost also. What Bit365 did was a great idea for a person who is so morally corrupt. Establish a reputation in the community, build trust, promote the website and simply be patient. Personally, I think that Bit365 wanted to capitalize on a potential increase in the price of BTC, which he did back in November. He didn't want to establish a legit business, it was always a scam. Why? Just look at the lack of transparency on the website. Bit365 left absolutely no breadcrumbs. I have already resigned to the fact that I will never see my BTC again. Unfortunately, this happens often in this community.

People just want payment as promised. Nothing else needs to be done. If Bit365 is interested in making things right, just pay amounts outstanding in full now. No excuses or investigation are necessary. The only reason anyone would want his identification would be to threaten him into making good on broken promises. Am I missing something here?
Yeah, you are missing something...he doesn't owe people a candy bar and a bag of chips, his behavior is criminal at the least. He owes thousands and thousands of dollars. An investigation is necessary. End of story You are owed 8.2 BTC!!! And you seem to lack concern about his identity!?

I have contracted a bitcointalk member to help me obtain documents about bit365. I have spent 0.2 BTC. I am accepting donations. Here is a record of the transaction. https://blockchain.info/tx/157636dfe5e2c803d7993681cb0da9821d8c974bb16c0f1d0d8dcb60d7fb7752Proof I control this: http://bitcoinsports.eu/bet/12fb9?destination=bet-slipI am accepting donations at this address or at the previously posted address: 1Bcnt4thpoN4an4tUbScZSyTgyvDMyjeNq Caveats are: 1. You must be provably owed bitcoin to obtain information. 2. It must be on or after Feb 1st as the agreement stands between myself and bit365. 3. Information regarding his home or office address, as it may lead to physical confrontation, is likely to be throttled, if obtained. In other words, I haven't decided how or if I can give that information out yet. I'd have to have crazy assurance that no harm will come to him or his family. Have you obtained the identity of Bit365, but have not tied it to his physical address? I read your previous posts and you stated you are working everyday to obtain his identity. Thank you, I am owed over 3 BTC, a small amount compared to some investments.

Are the servers down again?
I placed a large bet last night and have not seen a return yet. If the site is still up, but the servers are down - there should be a warning on the site instead of accepting bets with a large delay for the return.

How important is it that the price of BTC is stable for extended periods, in order for BTC to be widely adopted and what are possible solutions to stabilize the volatility?
Also, I believe BitPay and CoinBase remove this volatility for merchants by exchanging the BTC soon after a transaction is processed, does this not defeat the purpose of BTC? As such, the merchant should use the received BTC within their supple chain, but this can only happen if parties within the supply chain accept BTC. The volatility of BTC prevents this....

What is the estimated release date for this documentary?

How big is your smallest output?
The was processed early this morning, taking slightly more than 3 days. Now I know to always include a miner's fee. The smallest output was less than 5 BTC.

It really depends.
I sent several transactions without fees in the past and all of them were picked up by the blockchain within an hour or so.
Interesting...I wouldn't have thought it would take this long, it is a little disconcerting considering the transaction amounts. Hopefully they will be process soon. I have heard of instances in which it took upwards of weeks to process...

I placed a transaction without a fee, by accident, and it has not confirmed for 2 days whilst resting at 0% network propagation according to BlockChain.info. What is the usual process time for a tx without a fee?

I guess my first question would be; if privacy is your main concern, why would you run to a communist country? odd
Hong Kong isn't communist, it has a very high degree of autonomy and operates without the economic and political contraints of mainland China.

I recently bought a few LTC, I want a little more. I want exactly 1 BTC worth of LTC at current prices. Only respond if you have a trusted and established reputation. Thank you
