83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: November 22, 2018, 09:45:03 PM
Patience is always a good key.
There is a saying in the crypto world that says:  'you haven't made any loss till you sell'
In order to be in accord to the abive statement,  then you also need patience not just as a practice but as a virtue.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS on: November 22, 2018, 09:41:44 PM
True that bounties are not yielding what we really expect from them. But thanks to. Bounties,  we have made some extra money to add to our finances and this is a good thing. I will still keep doing bounties, you never know the one that will be the next hit.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP really better than ETH??? on: November 22, 2018, 09:37:38 PM
No matter the position in CMC,  I still think ETH is better than XRP.
XRP is still kinda centralised and that beats the major core feature of the blockchain and crypto in general,  decentralization.
ETH is far better than XRP if you ask me.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another December Bull run on: November 22, 2018, 09:34:31 PM
We might experience another bull Run,  we also might not.
We are still watching and waiting for the market to find a bottom and bounce of it but we still keep getting new lows each day.  I really do hope that the market bounces back,  but I am afraid,  the current market condition might think otherwise Smiley
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in crypto? on: November 22, 2018, 09:31:20 PM
Personally,  I still do.  I have been here long enough to know that this is a market and it has its good days and bad days just like all other markets do.
I still believe it's currently experiencing a bad day or weather and it will recover and those that weren't strong enough will regret.
My little advice:  HODL!!!

90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will survive in long run Bitcoin or Blockchain??? on: November 20, 2018, 06:40:32 AM
Additionally,  Blockchain can be seen as the fuel to bitcoin.  It runs and powers Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is just a currency that is based on blockchain and if they were separated,  then blockchain will last longer because it has proven itself to be the basis on which trustless transactions,  anonymity,  borderless transactions,  low-cost for payments and fast transactions has thrived.  Its use-cases are endless and so it's bound to last longer.

Peace Smiley
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will survive in long run Bitcoin or Blockchain??? on: November 20, 2018, 06:36:19 AM
why do you even insist on separating the two from each other?
it is like asking which one would survive longer, cars or combustion engines! bitcoin is based on blockchain technology and it is the one that introduced it to the world. bitcoin is also the one that is improving this technology and as the technology grows bitcoin grows and vice versa. they are not separate, they are one thing.
I agree with you on this. Personally I think that the introduction of Bitcoin led to the introduction of blockchain as well.  So separating both of them doesn't seem ideal and therefore if any one of them will survive in the long run,  then both of them,  technically speaking will survive as well.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2013 and 2018 on: November 20, 2018, 06:32:43 AM
I also believe that the mass utilization of Bitcoin is imperative to the success of Bitcoin.  The more people accept Bitcoin as payments,  the more demand it gets; the more demand it gets,  the higher the price of Bitcoin.
For now, maybe we need a  ew spark that will arouse interest in Bitcoin from numerous companies and organizations.  Nothing seems to be working again and that is the reason we have remained stagnant for a while.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too difficult to understand? on: November 20, 2018, 06:27:32 AM
Took me less than  a week understand the basics of Bitcoin.  If you don't wish to delve into the technicalities,  then understanding Bitcoin is as easy as ABC.  Bitcoin simply put is an electronic means of money that can be used to carry out borderless transactions,  make payments and store of value.  Without needing a third party for processing its transactions,  transactions are carried out on a peer-to-peer basis.  Bitcoin is not controlled by anybody nor subject to any regulations.
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: If a bitcoin falls below $2,000, what could be the cause? What is the real value on: November 20, 2018, 06:20:25 AM
Bitcoin price is moved by its volume. Its the same with any kind of commodity out there.  Demand(people buying) increases price and supply(people selling) reduces price. Right now,  people are no longer buying or maybe there has been no new education about Bitcoin to new people. Once that is achieved,  then we will have more buyers than sellers and then we can see some push up in the price.

97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Banks on blockchain? on: November 19, 2018, 01:05:29 AM
I agree with you.  Blockchain has proved to be very useful especially in the financial industry.  With blockchain,  several setbacks experienced by banks will have a solution.  For example,  fees used for transactions will be reduced to the lowest minimum and this would really help the bank as well as its customers. We need banks to be blockchain-based so we can exploit the full power of the blockchain in our day-to-day transactions.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHICH CONCEPTS WOULD YOU HIGHLIGHT THE MOST WHILE EXPLAINING BITCOIN? on: November 19, 2018, 01:00:57 AM
A decentralized and secure payment system that enables a fast,  cheap and reliable method of making payments regardless of geographical position and regulations. With a publicly viewable,  yet immutable ledger that keep records of all transactions that run on its network.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - the future "stable coin" on: November 19, 2018, 12:56:57 AM
Bitcoin has shown a lot of signs that it can be stable after all.  With the price occasionally moving sideways,  we can see a lot is stabilizing going on.  In 10-20 years the crypto market would have developed and we won't be seeing most high volatilities we have previously encountered.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be the currency of our future? on: November 19, 2018, 12:53:14 AM
With the features Bitcoin possesses,  there is no doubt that it has positioned itself to be a widely-accepted currency and seeing that some companies are now accepting payments with Bitcoin then there is no doubt that it will be a currency of the future. It's just a matter of time  now.
