guys, this can easy stick around at 0.02 to 0.03
easy!
Low supply, you know ... the reason you bought it ...

But if you dump in the buysupport like a tribe of apes it'll be a) not stable b) volatile and c) lower price

Just put some supply on the books and chill out a little instead of causing volatility  Wink

"Sell in small pieces"
+1

You better don't sell one large package but many small ones - this will also simulate a market with more participants and make for better trends and more relaxed trading experience. Bene has that right.
Lol.  Here's a thread from 11 months ago of Gustav and me talking about Uno.  We both were -- and still are -- believers in Uno at .03.

Uno is on it's way up, over the long term.  Buy it at a good price, and if the pumpers step in and take us too far too fast, then sell it on them.
I have a % of Uno that I play with. The rest is just scattered across multiple addresses and forgotten.  I don't even see it my main wallet so that it's out of sight and not tempting.   We'll keep slowly buying up the market, and if necessary we'll dump on the pumpers.  We are the distributed stability fund.

This is what the long timers are doing. We're here for the long term.  Uno is going to go up.  But if it tanks and goes really low, that's ok.  The dumpers might be done but we're not.  We don't have to prove anything by posting a buy wall for vampire/potatoes to dump into. Let them sell it to us cheap. We'll buy it back up eventually.  No rush.  We all know where Uno is going. Getting there is half the fun.

If you want to vet the long timers here, just go back and read Blazr2's Uno launch thread.  We are in this for the long haul. We operate in public, not in kiddie chat rooms. You don't need to pay me for access to a secret chat room to understand what's happening with Uno.

All I ask is that we keep our top four markets semi-liquid. There should be coins to buy. This helps the outreach to bring in new community members.  It just looks really bad when there are no coins for sale.  I had been carrying some of the exchanges for months, but I need help with it. I lost 400+ Uno on Mintpal, and I think the risk should be a little more distributed than it has been. If you can help with 50 or more Uno on Trex/Bleu/Allcrypt, that would be tremendous.

Edit:
Yes its true. In that  thread I linked to, I said: "One other suggestion:  ... keep your UNOcoins off the market! Don't just roll them up to .02; keep them scarce!"   I have evolved on that opinion since.  11 months later, I think there needs to be a reasonable supply of Uno on exchanges for trading (including Un-Ex).

Might have to rethink getting Uno on Bter.
I just tried to log into Bter today and was greeted with this message.
They had that big NXT hack, the BAY controversy, now this.

7170 BTC got stolen from our cold wallet in this transaction:

720 BTC bounty for chasing it back.

All wallets have been shut down and withdrawals of the unaffected coins will be arranged later.

Yes BTER is dead now and it's not coming back.

I guess we'll see, but they now have a serious confidence issue.
The idea behind Bter was to get entre to the Chinese market for Uno. They seemed like a good exchange to approach at the time.

Special thanks to Baars who has generously been giving of his Bter points to help run up the vote total.  I really appreciated the support.

We'll see how it goes. I hope this doen't kill them and that they get their shit together.  But maybe btc38 would be a better choice if we are going to put in the effort.

With Altmarket coming soon, I don't feel like Uno really needs more markets, unless they can bring something new and special to the community (China would be very special).

Uno still has a lot of unrealized potential at Bleutrade, with their USD and alternate trade pairs.

damn woke up at 0.009 price i bought many at 0.02. </3

I hear you, Vince.
Last summer I got dumped on at 0055, and saw it drop down to .0025.
Then last fall I got dumped on at .011 and saw it drop down to .005 range.

But so far, every time I've been dumped on, Uno has found it's way back. It is a crypto for the long term, on a long upward trajectory.

I don't wory too much about getting dumped on any more. It'll be back.

This video caught my attention and made me interested in UNO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOXnOdTBJco

It's a classic, and the best advice furry ever gave.

do we have our '1st' resident retard among us now?

No. I already claimed the "1st resident retard" title.  2nd place is still up for grabs, though.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / merged mined Uno on: February 12, 2015, 02:29:48 AM
Based upon this discussion and the cryptocointalk thread, I am in agreement with the MM strategy so long as the reward structure of no inflation stays exactly in place. Also, we need to make absolutely sure that it's a smooth transition.

Service announcement: while everyone here is - rightly - discussing price, the upcoming crypto-dominance of UNO and wether or not we should merge-mine, side-chain, softfork, hardfork, hedge, split, bond, pump, dump, hodl, grexit or all of this at once Wink ... I've been doing a couple of updates to the http://unobtanium.uno site.
Nothing major. Just fixed a few odd bugs, added some caching to speed up our exchange ticker (and prevent us from getting blacklisted by APIs for making too many requests, lol) and such stuff. I also added a short paragraph about and links to Un-Ex, as I really admire the network this has brought together. Keep up the good work everybody. I may not post all the time, but you can be sure I'm here and reading (as IMZ likes to say) every day.

Tips for our awesome web dev!  uewrE9QWc54EXjCZehWDPkjqgsyRDpQmK8

1777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Copay for Unobtanium on: February 10, 2015, 09:34:34 PM
Greetings!

I've put together a version of Copay for Unobtanium:

This can be found here:

http://hydra-uno.cryptap.us

For more information about what copay is:

https://copay.io

Basically, a multisig HD wallet.

Please note that this is dependent on extended key definitions being defined:

https://github.com/unobtanium-official/Unobtanium/pull/8

Is is completely usable currently. If the key definitions change I will notify everyone here.

Feedback is welcome.

Awesome, Cryptapus!!
