Government is not against crypto if they can regulate it. They need to get taxes from people hiding their wealth in crypto. The reason why bitcoin was created is to let go from a corrupt centralized system and yet, almost all of the exchanges are already regulated by the government and even crypto holders are being taxed. When it comes to the government laundering money using crypto that would be a risk for them since blockchain technology is made public and everyone can view transactions being made. Sometimes people can't accept changes in technology that can possibly ruin their ways of stealing money from the people.  The reasons why still government not allow or accept cryptocurrencies is they can't control or regulate because of its being decentralized. If the government wil allow cryptocurrencies many people will use it and the government will be have low funds because it is tax free. Right mate, being decentralized its hard for them to control or even collect income tax for every individual gaining income from bitcoin. One thing I see why they are hesitant on bitcoin is because it makes people rich and can possibly affect the countries economic performance since it is usual that a rich people can buy many things and thus changing market supply and in effect the price of commodities will go higher and can make inflation go higher. |

Anything could happens in the future, if we see from what's going on in crypto world nowadays was very surprising , where most country using the crypto system for their economy and it works. I think it would be possible to change the real money in the future and using this awesome thing as the transaction and a payment tools instead.
Bitcoin itself is already a virtual money and it can be used as direct payment for goods and services as long as the specified establishment has the system to accept bitcoin transaction because virtual currency like bitcoin is already a gateway to a real money for it has a value corresponding to that real money like USD. |

If only it went smoothly for the market last year maybe we have a better one today. Only the hype of BTC dragged most of the alts, it was a good opportunity to engage in ICOS until then. The day comes and boom most ICOS are being said as scam or ponzi projects and there it goes-tainted the name and some other few coins that is worth the trust. The market today is at where it supposed to be, if another big fall donw of prices then I can't imagine anymore what could happen to crypto currencies.

I think altcoin trading is not an exact science, we can predict or analyze price movements, but all that I feel is not enough to ensure where prices will move, it's better to be cautious, don't let us get trapped by assumptions

Due to the drop of the market I focus more on scalp tradingtoI earn profits rather than wait for cryptocurrency market to recover. My portfolio value dropped tremendously so need to diversify. Invest on new promising ICOs and shift trades from time to time. Crypto may be in crisis but there's some pump of coins from time to time so that's what we should look up for.

It doesn't look scary or deadly but it does look pretty useful and portable for our next generations. They will have huge amounts of money in their pockets without any physical burden of carrying cash. Honestly there are more reasons to quit? When I see my rank become a newbie again I feel empty and nothing to do. And in the other side I see the market price falling without changes. to get merit is not easy, you can take part in social media campaigns or create articles, there is still something you can do with it without stopping your activities. Sharing informative articles and ideas in this forum can help to have merit points, though it is really hard to gain that, much harder than to find good project that really pays you. Quitting is not an option, you just have yo build up your skills because there are many ways to earn aside from signature campaigns that do not require merit to qualify you. Yes, merit is not easy to get though we need to be diligent in our work here in this forum and most important that others will appreciate our work so that they will the one who can give us the merit that we need, I think if we feel like quitting because of the current market situation plus a lot of scam ICO that doesn't pay for our work then it still the decision is yours, there are still many ways how to earn on this crypto world for bounty campaign is just only a part of many activities here in crypto currency. |

If the regulator will come to the market there will be not many ICOs in 2019. There is no new things from ICOs Yes, lack of regulations for new ICO makes them abusive to do such things like they tend to not give importance to the investors and bounty participants and they only think for themselves and this will destroy the image of crypto currency. Lots of scam projects are a real proof that cryptocurrency are getting the attention that it needs though I pity those people who fall for a scam projects. If Gov't will come in then I think it will be much better for investors cause they will have assurance that the one behind one project will think twice before doing that scam thing cause the Gov't should know who are the real founders of the group.
Its true, many scam project in market makes many peoples have negative thinking about cryptocurrency. I have only gained good things from cryptocurrencies (they have changed my life for the better), however, I am frustrated at those who are in for money, and only money. They hurt themselves as well as cryptocurrencies future. I am sad that I still can't use bitcoin to purchase the things I want, as it isn't used as a payment currency/method. I am sad that there are big financial institutions that want (and do their best) to wipe the crypto world out, and instead of working together as a crypto-community to thrive, we are fighting, arguing, and scamming each other. Where I live, the government relentlessly tightens and destroys our financial lives—I was lucky to have found salvation in cryptocurrencies when others struggled.
We need to show the world that we are not just a bunch of wanna-be millionaires, that we actually care.

Crypto has given a lot of changes to our modern world and its potential is still full to be opened in the whole way. There are a lot of tasks of crypto like saving of privacy, giving new working places and so on. But is it right to consider that crypto will replace usual economics because it has more advantages and potential for the future? Be patient, you will lose too much by selling it now, crypto will not die and you better keep holding to wait for market recovery. And don't worry, the market will definitely show a change to a better price.
I thought some people in some thread said experience is the best teacher. You really do not have to tell him because he won't understand. Let experience teach him some lessons and later on if he is smart enough, he would know that downtrend are there for some reasons and the main reason is to shake out the weak hands, and as long as you are smart enough not to be a weak hand, you will always get the best of the market in the long run. It is just unfortunate though, that just very few people know that, and one of the reasons a lot will never take advantage of the dips when it comes but end up focusing on the end of crypto that is just starting. People tend to think like this because they never had a single idea of what they are investing into in the first place. What a lot of them were after is to make quick bucks, with no knowledge of what the future holds or why they should really be investing, let alone, knowing that this is a market that is new, here to stay and just starting with good growth and for someone to consider a bear market as the end, shows just how ignorant they are and how they really should not even be considered as real investors in the first place. I agree to be patient few people know few people will become rich!  The fact is that the cryptocurrency has always been unpredictable and at any moment could give a chance or deprive you of this chance. If we take into account the facts when users invested their money in 2015 and 2016, then 2017 already brought them great income. And who invested the concert of 2017, today is suffering a big crash. Even crypto is unpredictable and it seems like we gamble our asset upon investing in any ICO but I believe its capacity to earn profit regardless of what is happening now, since I already experience many times of gaining profit in crypto currency so I always believe its greatness with my speculation that the future is a all fueled with digital transaction and that is where our world going to be and crypto and blockchain and crypto currency will be the center of that new monetary system. |
