821  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sanction against Russia for West-choreographed conflict in Ukraine on: August 16, 2014, 11:30:43 AM
Um, so it's Russia's fault that it's being brought to its knees as soon as it tries to lift its head and throw off the shackles? Nice logic.

WHAT???
Russia brought to its knees? But rt and itartass and ria all said that the west will crumple , they will get bankrupt , Russia won't feel even 1% of the sanctions.
And now we are talking about 8 percent inflation , 20% price increase , and the biggest company asking the government for a 42 billion bailout?

Which one of those above is true?

Quote
Russia's state-controlled energy giant Rosneft has asked the Russian government for a $42bn (£25.2bn) loan, as it feels the impact of Western sanctions.

The government said it will consider the request from Igor Sechin, head of Rosneft, in the next two weeks.

Sanctions on Russia have limited Rosneft's ability to raise funds.

Rosneft has requested the money from the National Wealth Fund, which finances state pensions.

Maybe we have a reversal. Let's hope the volume supports this for a proper CCMF. Wink

Hodl !!!!!1 ?
Thanks. Forgot about that!

HODL!!!!!!1

One thing I don't understand.
Why choose the red color when shouting hodl as red is mostly associated with selling ?

Why not use green? It will be also good for people who don't want to rub their eyes every time they read this thread.

HODL!

I see the usual suspects have missed their daily does of Ritalin again and are back here trolling this thread

There it goes again, people post abuse when it all gets too hard to answer a few pertinent questions.

Zipedee doo dah

You only have one question to answer, and you won't answer it.

How many Uro do you own?

Be "truthful".

Why would he own any if he thinks this is a scam?
I really don't understand your motive for keep asking this question.
824  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is US Citizenship is a Curse or a Blessing? on: August 16, 2014, 11:19:49 AM
A true blessing for those coming from 3rd world and get free education and free health care.

People often criticize the us but if you look on how many people want to get into the us and Europe and how many into Russia and china....
There is a clear indicator where is better to live.
825  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lugansk under bombs and mines. on: August 16, 2014, 11:18:34 AM
The Ukrainian army seems to be deliberately inflicting civilian casualties, to force the local population out of their residential areas. The are trying to replace the native population with immigrants from the West. Already happening in Slavyansk.

http://slavyangrad.org/2014/08/14/residents-of-slavyansk-have-disappeared-the-town-is-being-re-populated-with-migrants-from-western-ukraine/

The same move russian have done over the last century.
Why do you think there are so many russian speaking in that area?

Btw , they are free to go , right?
Everything is better in mother Russia. They won't have to burn wood for heating , prices are down , inflation is negative , unemployment is at 0.

Why not go to their real homeland?
826  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sanction against Russia for West-choreographed conflict in Ukraine on: August 16, 2014, 11:11:01 AM
Of course , nothing is hurting the russians. Except maybe for this.

Suppliers have raised prices for some fish by 20-36%, one of Russia's biggest retailers, X5 Retail Group, complained to Russia's government, the Kommersant business daily reported on Wednesday. Suppliers reported shortages and higher prices for fruit, retailers braced for milk prices to go up, and some meat suppliers were engaging in price speculation, Kommersant reported.

Russia's Central Bank warned last week that the sanctions are likely to increase an already rising inflation rate. Even so, Russia's government has pledged that prices will not go up as a result of the import ban, promising that the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service will check reports of suppliers raising prices.

Where have i see this move... i wonder where...oh...Venezuela
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=330687.0

Prominent nationalist commentators have ridiculed those complaining about the import ban as pampered middle-class consumers who have developed an elitist taste for foreign cheese and prosciutto.

Yup nemo , the current Russia is not like the URSS....nothing alike

827  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukraine rejects Russia Gazprom gas price hike on: August 16, 2014, 11:07:35 AM
EU urges Russia to renew gas talks with Ukraine. do I hear a tinge of panic?
http://itar-tass.com/ekonomika/1383193?utm_medium=rss20

What is there to talk about before the debt is paid?

Panic? What panic?
They have invited them to talk. It;s that not the normal way problems should be dealt with?

And russia should be thankful if they get their debt back. 8% inflation according to the central bank...and those are official numbers...
828  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donetsk, Kharkov, Lugansk - way to Russia. on: August 16, 2014, 11:01:42 AM
And again to contradict bryan's map the ukrainean forces have entered Zhdanivka.
Don't know how that was possible but here is the pic:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BvJqqiNIgAExQqt.jpg

Also battles in Mospyne... how the hell it is possible when the ukr troops were supposed to be encircled tens of km from those towns.
829  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donetsk, Kharkov, Lugansk - way to Russia. on: August 16, 2014, 10:46:55 AM
You have to be joking...But no , seems like the report is true.

The trucks are not full because their are a piece of garbage and can't be loaded with more than 1/4 of their total capacity.
And those are brand new trucks ....

Now really, I laughed at Obama statement that Russia doesn't produce anything but really , what the hell is happening there.
This is the economical power that will rule the world and is unable to make a truck ?

Not going at top speed over a hill...Are you people nuts?

But upon further investigation , I managed to find the flaw..
Part of trucks equipped with Cummins engine manufacturing joint venture Cummins and KAMAZ in Naberezhnye Chelny.

Few coins on ask side. Could see a quick move upwards..

no way, give up your hope! there is no upward move, bitcoin is going to nowhere but down!
1m bid vs 1 sell = still going down

the final capitulation incoming!

Can I ask you what's the number of this FINAL capitulation?
Cause as i recall we had one in 2012 , another in April 2013 , then again in August , in December , and at the start of 2014.

Are you really sure this is the final one?
I got so used to them that i might miss the real one.

This is going to be a bad weekend.
First i find the thread on the second  page in my watchlist , then i check the volume on mintpal...and I'm gonna need a coffee.

Community seems busy with Bter and NXT and the Bitcoin price reflects that too.

Well, the BTC price was basically made by 2 or 3 (first two belonged together, i guess) giant dumps of 5-9k BTC. It will take some time until it goes up again since a lot of those who had low orders filled will sell off during a recovery. Remember that it went diown to 450 USD in a single shot, as all the alts a "long-time-low" after almost breaking 700 USD.

NXT: I did not follow this shit, did they rollback anything or manipulate the Blockchain in any way? NXT aside BTER looks surprisingly like business as usual.

Rgearding BC/all alts: Not much movement due to BTC and NXT, where there is volume people are dumping like mad. Both DRK and CLOAK will soon be back to their pre-pump levels, we already went through that shit. It's hard to believe that is it actually happening, but that's how it is, even DRK will likely go back to as low as 0.0014 as it was before it took off.

It's too bad that all the alts are so close and dependent on bitcoin price. A serious crash would send the alt scene in the freezer like last May.

As for nxt they didn't rollback , bter is supposed to take the loss and then get it back from the "hacker".

And about the drk , glad I sold as soon as i made 3x of my investment.

Mainly for the milk products, as supplies from Kuban' are insufficient:
http://itar-tass.com/ekonomika/1383162?utm_medium=rss20

mainly milk , milk products , sugar , potatoes and cooking oil , right?
And something about the black market and the government unable to keep the prices low...

Of course , big difference from what i've said Wink
It's actually worse.

good morning, a shameless $5 million on the bid side....

if it was that easy why did Tim Draper and hedgefunds/banks bid/spend nearly $20m on 30,000 bitcoins when they could just collapse it and buy them all for $5 million?

They needed the bitcoin first to sell them to collapse the market. Wink

No, all they need is a promise on paper to deliver said urea. Anything that's "backed" today is merely a social contract. The dollar is backed by debt, which means nothing more than a promise to pay that dollar with more debt. In this case the URO is backed by a promise to deliver a tangible item. The definition of a backed currency.

So it is actually based on trust the same as bitcoin.

Goodbye 490's, was nice to see you downhill

Can you please let me know what was so good and is so good in watching bitcoin price going down?

I don't care too much about the current drop but there are a few people who really amaze me with their joy ...
840  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the West gearing up to invade Russia once again? on: August 16, 2014, 08:39:13 AM
Crimea is historic Slavic land. I don't want to comment whether it is Russian or Ukrainian, but right now Russians are the majority there.

A large part of the Russians (+ Ukrainians, Belorussians.etc) living in the Baltics are recent migrants. Baltics is not a part of the Slavic homeland. But still it is wrong that they are not allowed to use their native language.

I don't hate the Western world. I hate only the NATO war machine. What I don't want is Ukraine being accepted in to the NATO as a full member and American nuclear ICBMs being placed in the Russian-Ukrainian border.

"I hate only the NATO war machine" well you have the right to hate whomever you want even if it's completely unreasonable. question is why your hatred excuses russia bullshit moves? it's not NATO that has invaded ukraine and annexes part of it's territory. it's not NATO soldiers killing people on ukraine/russia border. unreasonable fear of nuclear ICBMs seems a very shady argument here.

You know what's even more amusing.
All , those freedom and peace loving pro-russians who all the day claim that the nato shield is useless and their iskanders can reduce europe to ash in seconds Smiley))
