41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next bull run is coming on: November 03, 2018, 03:47:02 AM
Hello guys;

I think that another bull run is coming, bitcoin will moon then altcoins will moon after, even if SEC rejects or delays ETF this September 30th. But I expect a big sell-off before that, which will conduct the total market cap to reach its ATL this year Under 200 billion USD.

What do you think guys?

I wish for it but I think we'll not see it this year.

I feel China will win this competition.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan just gave its cryptocurrency industry legal power to police itself on: November 01, 2018, 04:04:46 AM
The cryptocurrency scene is evolving too quickly for policymakers to keep up - well that’s the rationale behind a move by Japan to officially let thee industry create and enforce its own rules. If the approach works, it is likely that other not-do-forward-in-the-crypto-world nations will also test it. Apparently "Japan’s Financial Services Agency has granted the Japan Virtual Currency Exchange Association, a self-regulatory organization made up of representatives from cryptocurrency exchanges, authority to create rules aimed at protecting consumers, preventing money laundering, and standardizing how exchanges should operate. The agency also gets the power to sanction exchanges for breaking those rules, reports Reuters." Opinions on this? Will it be successful or fail miserably, or something in between? Will others follow soon?

I found information regarding this in a Technology Review article : https://www.technologyreview.com/the-download/612347/japan-just-gave-its-cryptocurrency-industry-legal-power-to-police-itself/

Well done! That's a great work done by Japan. It will be successful and very soon Japan will set an example for others to take up some major and perfect step like this.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins is 10 years, Proof it is here to stay. on: November 01, 2018, 03:56:22 AM
Bitcoins is here to stay after 10 years of existence with all the setbacks from governments, financial institutions , media and even cryptocurrency traders. A system of payment that has existed for 10 years can't be doubted as a ponzi scheme, fraud or scam as stipulated by many naysayers. Hurray!

Yes, it cannot be doubted because it has already proved itself to many. Those who really understand the functioning of the bitcoins will never be against it.
46  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why did you have faith in btc? on: October 31, 2018, 04:15:13 AM
Seeing btc going down for quite some time now, I thought people will be withdrawing their investment to shares and others business. But it amaze that btc is gaining more popularity and people are still rushing btc. What is the secret behind btc?

Because it is more resistant to feral inflation, corrupt banks and corrupt governments.
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins volitily predictions when it has reached 21 million made on: October 30, 2018, 03:42:04 AM
I have happened to find it very interesting that bitcoin will cap out sooner or later. I believe that it will be worth much more when it hits it but a few years down the ride quite possibly it may be worth nothing. Anyone got any predicts and a good reason why?

It is hard to predict anything now. It may rise or fall but we are already aware of this nature of bitcoins so a fall will not affect me so much but a rise in the price will make me the happiest person in the world.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain replace bank? on: October 29, 2018, 04:13:58 AM
The current trend of blockchain is very high, couple with it's ability to execute millions transactions within seconds, few transactions cost and no third party is require or paper signing. All transactions recorded and kept open, taking alway cross border and languages barrier, excellent in e commences. So many features to change the world. My emphasis is can blockchain has the capacity to replace bank?

I feel that blockchain will not replace bank rather they will work together smoothly.

50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A man in UAE took six figure loan and lost 85% of his crypto value on: October 27, 2018, 03:55:55 AM
What a moron.

The first rule of any investment, particularly crypto, is to only invest what you can afford to lose. A loan, by definition, is not money you can afford to lose.

Great answer! In fact, it is the truth. How can a man who is into Crypto world has no knowledge of it. He truly deserve his fate...
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dominance Gradually increasing - Green Signal on: October 27, 2018, 03:50:08 AM

52  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Do you use hardware wallet? on: October 27, 2018, 03:45:59 AM
This video only has ~700 views, how did you stumble upon this one? My gut feeling tells me you're somebody who is payed to promote this wallet instead of a "regular" user who is asking questions here (but that's just my gut feeling).

This being said: i had to turn off the video, all text is in korean??? and the voiceover isn't that good either (IMHO).

Upon visiting the website, i got a bad vibe... Why would anybody reputable try to start an ICO... People that start an ICO for funding give me the shivvers (personal opinion).
The page selling the HW wallet is only partly translated, the amounts are only in some currency i don't know (no idear how many USD or EUR such a HW wallet would cost).

I'd stick to a ledger or a trezor... They are cheap, made by somebody from the community and they're trusted.

I agree with you. It looks like he is here to promote the wallet through this video. Anyway I do not click on the link without having the clear information.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you send bitcoins to Satoshi, if you know his Bitcoin address? on: October 26, 2018, 05:39:24 AM
Let's create a fictitious scenario where Satoshi sends a message in a way that can be validated/verified < PGP key > and he notify all of us that he is bankrupt and has no access to his coins.

If this is verified, would you send bitcoins to Satoshi, like people did with Andreas Antonopoulos?

We have seen people sending tips to Satoshi's known Bitcoin addresses and to date, bitcoin’s maiden address has received 16.7 BTC in tips, worth around $107 600. <This has never been claimed>

Will you send bitcoins and if you do, why?

If you will not send bitcoins. Why?

I will send my bitcoins to convey my heartfelt respect for him. A man whose invention has helped many to achieve their goal in short time should be adorned, loved and cared.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holders must remain calm on: October 26, 2018, 05:30:05 AM
I have seen so many people claiming to be HOLDERS, just because they hold their bitcoins as long as the market falls like a few months, they call it that even though their true nature still feels uneasy when negative news arrives and the market does not show positive movement according to what they expected and led to panic. I think true HOLDERS are those who really hold their Bitcoin up to the time limit they specify or how much the coin they hold will grow regardless of outside influences.

Yes, we should have the patience to hold until the price meet our expectations. Here, being calm will benefit us in the long run.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Security on: October 26, 2018, 05:25:15 AM
Hi All

What do you use for your bitcoin security, I have been looking into usb style password protectors, but don't know enough about them as to the trust that I should place in them.

Has anyone bought them and would you recommend them?

Many thanks

Airdrop291

Actually we do not need anything extra to secure our wallet. Bitcoin itself has the best security features. Only the thing we need to do  is follow the security instruction properly.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: October 25, 2018, 04:18:32 AM
I believe it is!

What do you do to relief trading stress? Do you have any alternatives?

As for me I stopped trading for 3 months and play blockchain games. Now I feel myself better!

No, it is not stressful for me because I have a clear idea about market mechanism and do know when to trade to earn more.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin is a security, a currency or a commodity? on: October 25, 2018, 04:14:01 AM
The endless debate... Do you think Bitcoin is a security, a currency or a commodity? We came up with a few reasons why it could easily classify in any of those categories: https://cryptocoin.news/analysis/is-bitcoin-a-security-a-currency-or-a-commodity-2-18643/

What do you think it is?

Bitcoin is a Currency because it can be exchanged for buying good and services. It is a security because it has a monetary value and it is also a commodity because it is used in commerce and can be interchanged with other digital and fiat currencies.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have bitcoin coming to my waves wallet for some reason on: October 24, 2018, 04:10:04 AM
So, here is a record from LATEST TRANSACTIONS in my waves wallet at https://waveswallet.io/

However, when I go to my portfolio in the same wallet, it shows 0.0000408 bitcoin.

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your future plans with altcoins? on: October 23, 2018, 04:15:04 AM
Hello there,
For the bear market, everyone's portfolio has decreased significantly! Many people are still holding and some started trading! My question for holders, What are your future plans with your altcoins? Will you start trading or you will be waiting? But remember one thing, a lot of coins price won't be the same like before ever! Many coins are scamming or dying! So, now what is your plan?

I will hold the coins till the middle of next year and then if the price doesn't increase I will sell a part of my coins and hold the rest.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will this bear market continue? on: October 23, 2018, 04:10:05 AM
I'm just hodling since the January drop. Stupid me I didn't sell enough of my coins that time. Just wondering what are you guys doing. Still holding or you pulled out your investments in the mean time?

I am holding it too but I will not consider it stupidity because that's how we  deal with it for better return.
