Are you willing to invest USD10,000 or more in a currency which seems to be static at the moment and keep it for 5 years or longer?
You hope that, after 5 years or longer, the price of the currency will go very high.
Are you patient enough? Or could you sell the currency for other currencies when you see that the currency shows no progress after one or two years?
What do you mean by using the word "static". It's mean that your coin's price unchanged? Like USDT, PAX or something like that. I guess you refer the solid and legit coins, right? I think to make the safest, you should hold BTC.

My understanding for IEOs is basically instead of project handling raising funds etc. It will be for an exchange to do so.
An IEO hosted by Yobit or Binance can clearly not be compared. In other words, the exchange gives more credibility to the project regardless of whether it's worth it or not.
Am I the only one who thinks this is actually a bad thing and make people focus on the exchange hosting rather than the actual project and what the team is offering etc.?
Yes. What you think is the same as most people here. We all know that, but all are only interested in profits, so choosing a reputable exchange like Binance will guarantee your profit.

I mined couple of MONACOIN earlier last year. Now monacoin went up crazy, I wanna sell it before it falls down. The few exchanges available and listed on coinmarketcap, bitbank, upbit and bittrex etc., I had difficulty with bittrex, upbit appears korean based and does not list USA in the registration. I think bitbank.cc is japanese based and also had difficulty registering. Oh god how I am supposed to transact my monacoin?
I think if you need it urgenly, because this time Mona is going crazy, you can find some escrow services, where they have a verified Bittrex account to sell Mona for you (or contact anyone you know). Because I know it's very difficult to verify accounts on Bittrex and it usually takes a few days, and its volume is quite good for you to sell a large amount.

A lot peoplel hate BNB, SO where does all this binance hate come from?
Why you said that? I think Binance is leading the market very well this time, when they created the IEO game to attract new investors to the market. For the current majority Binance will certainly still be No. 1.

Hi, just wanted to know what interesting blockchain projects you guys have seen, am looking to invest in some promising ICOs, but I'm worried because there are so many scams around with ICO projects these days. I've gotten some suggestions to look at IEOs instead, but I believe that some ICOs projects really have interesting concepts and developments that have the potential to be successful and don't want to miss out on ICOs completely. Any ideas? Is this a smart thing to do?
If you're merely looking for profit, I think the safest way to do it is to join the IEO on the three biggest exchanges today, Binance, Okex and Houbi. However, it is very difficult to join their IEO because they use the lottery to choose who can buy. But the price of tokens after IEO is always 2 to 3 times higher than IEO prices. That's my choice.

1) Of course, almost exchanges now are decentralized, and the fact that they have the largest trading volume, and we have no better choice. 2) No, BNB has its ecosystem, and it's really working product. That whey BNB's price growing. 3) Likely the first reason.

Right. The safest way is to choose a large and reputable exchanges, as they also contribute significantly to ensuring the quality of the project. They will also ensure the best profit for you.

Dogecoin is not a bad investment. It needs a lot of time to see an improve of its price. But when it will happen, it is going to be very fast and high as usual. You need to be patient. Don't put all your bags on one egg.
Yes. Take a look at Doge's annual price chart. It is always interesting that its price will skyrocket once a year. And this year, I have not seen it start. Because you can invest a little on it this time.

I think the current ETH price must be above the $ 300 price to match the current BTC price of about $ 8k7. Hopefully, ETH/BTC prices will increase sharply in the near future.

|
Recently, 3 IEOs of Binance: Celer, Fetch and Matic have all pumped their prices very high, I think their purpose is to attract investors to join the Binance Launchpad and increase the hype for BNB. So I think BNB will still be a safe investment to hold for long.
|
|
|
I think not, because if that happens, it is against the decentralized nature of this market. Binance and CZ are trying to control and lead this market, but I think they will not be able to overcome ETH, because ETH is representing a very large community in the crypto world.

I have set up an account on Bitebtc not long ago and it is easy to see the price of coins here is quite different from the price on Coinmarketcap. After I received 1 NEO airdrop from them, I exchanged NEO to BTT and withdrawn to my wallet, but after submitting, my money was deducted but there was no transaction in the withdrawal history, and I did not receive the money. It can be confirmed that this is a phishing site.
