Some people tell their gambling activity.

Sometimes, in my country they borrow a small money like 10$ from their girlfriend. Then, If the balance is up like 100$ he sharing with his girl. IMO as long you are not addicted are fine sharing with them, the problem with gambling is while you are getting addicted.

But not sharing or tell anyone until you found some problem (debt, selling, stealing, fraud, etc).

So what happens when you loses the money you borrowed from your girlfriend to gamble? This is the only route I can't take. Gambling never stops and there's always game day. If you're low or out of cash wait till you have it. Borrowing to gamble may cause depression or even worse.

The problem is when I lose because I will do all the house chores for the day including buying our groceries in the wet market. I’ve been shopping and doing house chores a lot lately due to my 3 weeks loss streak. My wife instantly have a housekeeper for 3 weeks.

But with my recent win, I’m already warming up for an intense bed scene as revenge. Do I use a handcuffs Grin

Lol. That's weird punishment but please use handcuffs. You need that revenge

That was my first super multi-win and it sure did bring happiness. Just sharing and I hope some slots players here could hit the same amount someday.
Super awesome.
Is there any way I could see the replay of the game? My wife doesn't believe me and I cannot find where I could see the replay, unlike the other slot games.

That's some bad crack life changing multiplier right there, I've never won anything close. So people really tell their spouse about their gambling life? Is she sees my losses she will strangle me to death. Lol. If she doesn't believe in screenshot with your username on it damn it she's used to always seeing you crack the table after losing and never won for once.  Grin

0.09 cent to $272 is pure cracker. congrats man.

I will remove signature and Avatar once my resignation message is approved. I've left all my post unedited, when a good AI generated detector is finally developed, I will come back to this thread. Until then Good bye everyone, it was a nice ride.

My last advice: Do not trust any AI detector tools yet. I should be the last victim.

Edit:
Resignation approved! I've asked the admin to deactivate the account. Cheers

Within myself, I know it's pretty clear that you're using AI, you're not fooling anyone and it's showing even without using a scanner. So from how you're seeing things, I'm "battling" you, just to get a few merit points?

You literally wrote 30 posts yesterday, from 6 am to 10.30 pm, doesn't sound like you don't care. I don't understand how it's even possible to write so many posts within a day. That's pure spam, you're posting within 10 minute timeframes. That means you're in front of a computer for over 16 hours, so there's no way in hell you can claim you don't care, that's practically your job.

Exposing a PM without my consent shows your lack of trustworthiness. It's been more than 8 hours, and no one, including you, who created the so-called "human and AI" mixing report, has provided/named at least one Chatbot capable of producing discussion on topic. There is a $50 bounty.

Do you know what spam is?  Writing more than 30 or 50 posts per day does not necessarily imply spamming; what matters is the content, not the quantity. My posts are human-written, but a random profile can't be so good unless he's using some form of AI.

Let me educate you on how AI works....

AI-written contents are words collected from the Internet, and most plagiarism detection tools detect them since they are randomly combined content from many sources.  No plagiarism tools have yet detected any AI-claimed posts of mind. You folks are playing assumptions game with someone's reputation.

The most recent of these results all have that uncanny valley effect where you can just tell they were written by AI. Some of them are detected as being partially or wholly written by AI. Some others are not but I suspect they could be using something like the “more casual” setting in Google Gemini or perhaps an AI humanizer.

Still doesn't make sense for anyone to use AI on few of his posts and go Human on most of them. The only tools I've ever used are quilbot and Grammarly( Noticed they're AI powered tools so stopped using) to enhance my sentences and punctuations. I'm not familiar with any of the tools you mentioned. Honestly appreciate your inputs.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: March 25, 2024, 10:34:38 PM
Many like to bet on this since they need to put less brain on this and they just write their favorite combination then wait for result. Although the chance to win is so low but there are people taking their chances to win since some other think that they have chance to win if they are consistent to buy their tickets and hope to take home the huge prize that can possibly change their life in instant. I also rarely win on lottery since I only bet when the pot prize is huge and ignore this once the result show since I think the chance to win immediately is so low. Try to limiting our selves is good and we should never think about buying a lot of ticket if they think it can increase their chance to win, that's not the case their since the result is the same but our chance to lose huge money is huge if we do that.

Many people like this game because it doesn't require too complicated analysis like sportbet, and so on. In fact, just by choosing a number that we like without having to analyze and combine numbers we can get a chance of winning, even though the chance of losing is much greater.

as @angrybirdy said, maybe this type of gambling is just for fun and doesn't think about the final result. When you get the jackpot, think of it as getting an unexpected prize. but also remember not to put too big hopes in the lottery game.

No I can't compare it to sports betting since there are many factor need to consider before casting your bet and you need to do some research to see the current situation of the teams so that you can get more better chance to win. Its different on lottery where you just put your favorite number there then you can bet then wait for the result to show up on that day.

Some maybe just want to bet so that there's something exciting to wait but for other provably they do consistently betting its because they believe that one day the same with other lottery jackpot winners their life will be change and they can buy all they want when they win on the lottery that's why they always come up with this thinking that they should bet since missing a day would decrease their chance to win.

Obviously, lottery and sports betting are not the same and approaching both as the same can be misleading. The only similarity between them is that you are risking something to get something in return which is the conventional meaning of gambling. Well, lottery is purely a game of luck. You don't need to make any research or analysis. This is different for sports betting.

Even though it is widely believed that winning requires luck but then a sports bettor must carry out research and analyze games before placing it to increase his chances of winning.  When you take out time to do a proper research, there are games that you will avoid particularly games with so much risk. Only good research will reveal this and not even odds given by the bookies.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun and not a way of making money on: March 25, 2024, 10:21:19 PM
Yes of course people never gamble for fun but they gamble to make money out of it, and the number of gambling addiction is increasing due to the spread of gambling ads on various social media. Most of the people are confident that they will earn a lot of money by gambling and get rich easily but these get rich schemes make them poor. And those who make such plans are very difficult to stop from gambling because they always pay attention to it which is why they never want to stop, but few people gamble just for fun.

Nowadays, the most addictive reason for newbies is the spreading of advertisements on various social medias, which attracts people by showing attractive promises. And when new gamblers go in believing these enticing assurances, they end up losing more money than they intended to make. Gradually a user gets more into gambling and becomes addicted but later if he loses his money he does not want to come back from it but greed works inside him. That's why I think gambling is never for fun but it's best to stay away from it otherwise it will become an addiction at some point and you will lose money all the time.

I don't think adverts alone is the reason many people are gambling rather the stories of people winning millions. Personally, I know how many times I have taken breaks from gambling but as soon as someone have a significant win, my interest is rejuvenated and I will begin gambling again. In addition, most persons are out of job and so due to survival they keep gambling and hoping to make mega money through gambling. I have a friend who always tell me that if he gets a job he will stop gambling that his lack of job is the only reason he gambles. I believe these are some of factors for the increase in gambling activities in our current reality.

The above also justify why most gamblers don't believe that the purpose for gambling is for entertainment. To them, if you must gamble, then you must have it in mind that you want to increase your finance. Well, I don't have to blame such gambler for their thought. When you consider that most of these gamblers are jobless you will understand why they cannot see gambling as a source of fun but rather as a means to an end.

I tagged the member in question.  When there's no rule in place to deal with this sort of shenanigans, one must use the tools available to them to combat it.

You're using the feedback system to your advantage because of what some random "test" AI detection websites claim? Did you read the posts the OP posted and the ones I quoted? Tbh, all of this is wrong. I don't care about sig payment because I make x5 as a VIP wager. My reputation means a lot. I'm officially leaving Stake.

If anyone can mention 1 AI chat bot that can produce 100% discussion on topic, test run it and show results I have $50 for you.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: March 25, 2024, 10:03:38 PM
The person you can rely the most is always yourself, and while some gamblers look for external sources to help them to manage their money and prevent them to spend too much of it in gambling, the truth is that no external source can help you for long as a gambler that has taken the decision to keep gambling will always find a way to do it, so if a person wants to control their gambling, they have no other way than to try to do this on their own.

No doubt except a gambler wants to be responsible with his gambler it will be difficult to help him but implying that no external source do not play big role in helping a gambler can be misleading. The efficacy of an external source lies in the acceptance of the gambler that he is willing to bet responsibly if he is helped. When such confession is made the external forces can play it's role. Understand that the external force is not there to help a gambler forever.  The external force will only come him to help the gambler return to normal and responsible gambling. When this is achieved a gambler can be allowed to control himself.

Personally, I think the bet way to manage a gambler is to instill responsible gambling practice in him the moment he starts gambling. I want to call on all bookies to include in there term and conditions responsible gambling practices so that as an individual signs in he is directed to read the practices. This can go a long way in ensuring that individuals gamble responsibly. Merely saying "bet responsibly" is not enough because what constitutes a responsible gambling made not be known to a new gambler.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: stop the unnecessary blame on gambling whenever you get unlucky on: March 25, 2024, 09:41:59 PM
Individuals who are constantly searching for someone or something to blame for their losses are not mature. Blaming won't even make up the money you lost; accepting responsibility for your actions is the best course of action. Additionally, I dislike those who criticize or even assign blame, even when their acts were the cause. And the reason they place the blame is that they always strive to appear flawless, as though they never make mistakes, and when professionals falter, it speaks more well of common people.

When the time comes when they will be unable to place the blame anywhere, they will turn their attention to finding ways to make up for their losses. They fail to see that there is no shame in losing. No one would hold me responsible for introducing them to gambling because I don't even introduce people to it, and even if I did, why would you hold me responsible when it was all a question of choice? Not a single cause to assign blame. Either they blame the casino or say anything it won't change anything.

Some individuals naturally are good at holding an external factor for any misfortune in there life. When they have fortune they take the glory and boast that the fortune is as a result of self effort. Personally, I don't see such people as immature as you noted because some people see it as a big deal accepting failure and so instead of accepting failure they prefer to apportion the blame to a factor so that people will not see them as been misfortune. To them, their concern is not about making better choices next time but to control how people will view their actions.

Unfortunately, such way of living doesn't change anything. If you are unlucky and then blame it on gambling, the fact that you are unlucky haven't changed. My humble advise is that instead of blaming gambling efforts should be made to make corrections subsequently because you function for yourself and so you need to make life worth living for yourself and so should blame gambling at all when things doesn't go as desired.

11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 25, 2024, 09:29:05 PM
Usually when I bet in gambling I don't follow any other person's help or channel prediction but I follow what I understand or what I consider to bet in gambling. In fact one should not follow someone else's prediction in gambling because in this case someone else's prediction may not be true or if following someone else's prediction one faces loss in gambling then there is no way to comfort oneself at that moment. Therefore, gambling bets should be taken based on the amount of research that has been done in gambling itself, and if the bettor participates with full confidence in that research, the chances of winning are definitely higher.

I truly appreciate this submission. Whatever you do for yourself will always beat what someone else does for you. In fact, intrinsic motivation is always better than extrinsic motivation. This means that actions borne out of self desire supersede any external drive to do anything. This can be related to what you noted. When you make your prediction, you can be sure of the indepth research and analysis you have done compared to when you rely on the prediction of another individual or a prediction site.

Sometimes, to avoid apportioning blames on others it is better to make your own predictions so that when you win you can pat your self on the back and when you lose you can easily accept it in good faith. If you take the picks by another person or a prediction site and lose you will lament bitterly and start feeling that you would have made a better prediction. So, to rule out such reaction, it is better to stake games based on your prediction.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The scam of FAKE fixed matches on: March 25, 2024, 09:16:07 PM
Why will anyone promote first of all if he has fixed matches? To get attention of the all the people and then finally the players will be questioned? Hence all the matches that you see here and there available publicly that is claiming to be fix matches are only scams. They just send you some fake screenshots to make you believe that yes they have won many times. Now a days it’s hard to get fix matches.
We can continue to fight against these illegal activities that takes place in the system. We're only here to ensure we milked the system, I know it's not easy to grabbed good winning stands on these gambling grounds but we should also exercised patience because everything is a gradual process. The fake fixed matches does send evidence to the gamblers, meanwhile the easily minded gamblers will notify for fixed games as if this exist. Everyone is desperate to make money and having the evil mindset of turning scamming towards gambling. Most of them that indulges in activities they know nothing about will end up losing.

This fixed game sites are so sophisticated to the point that they will send you edited evidence as though it is real, give you a link to a phishing websites and tell you to confirm the winning. If you are not so careful, you will fall for it. They will should you fake Whatsapp messages showing their chats with a client thanking them for making him win and some post good testimonies about how genuine the site is but all this these are organized crime to ripp you off your money.

Desperation is the reason why many gamblers fall for fixed match scam  as you pointed out. When you lack patience and so wants to win at all costs, you start seeking for strategies and short cuts to take to have your desired win and this can make you a prey in the hands of scammers disguise as a genuine fixed match vendor.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dont chase your loss on: March 25, 2024, 09:01:03 PM
Gambling should be done with caution, it's not bad to continue gambling when we are losing out, but the game should be limited and get stopped the moment we had set to stop gambling. No gambler that exceeds his gambling time, that'll get back home happy. As he'd lose out all his funds in the process. Hence, while chasing loss, it should be limited. That's till responsible gambling. It's only irresponsible when the gambler doesn't stop at a given time. The limitations could be on time or funds. Players should develop the need to stop playing the moment their designated amount for gambling has been exhausted. But moving ahead to deposit more money to gamble again isn't right. That's a sign of addiction. A gambler should be contented with what he's got, not to get passed it. They'll be no fun losing out all our funds in one session. It's painful and would leave the gambler worried for some days, which is a new stage of anxiety. That's not worth the stress, when we have the control to stop playing earlier when things have not gotten out of hand. However, some gamblers still lack the orientation to follow good and responsible ethics.

When a gambler gamble with a huge amount thereby exceeding his limit all in the name of catching up with his previous loss, he is likely to walk of the casino with nothing left for him to take home. When a gambler experiences loss after using a huge amount to play gamble, that only means that his intention towards gambling at that moment has changed from catching fun to making a win that could make up for his losses. Those who make such mistake in gambling would definitely miss out the experience of having fun. In my opinion, I believe when you gamble with small amount of money that could increase your duration of gambling while you are not even spending much to while away some time and catch some fun.

Well said, the fun in gambling is gambling is gone the moment a gambling starts chasing his loss. Gambling shouldn't be seen as a competition between you and the bookies. When you see gambling as a competition, you will chase your loss because within you, you what to win the bookies. One bitter truth about gambling is that if you chase your loss, you will lose the more since no one chases lose with the right frame of mind. Gambling shouldn't be since as a marathon race where you keep running to get a price even when you are exhausted rather it should give the feeling you get when you are in a cinema. In a cinema, when you feel sleepy you easily take a nap and you don't force yourself to keep watching.

Personal experience shows that people who chase loss don't always win and they go as far as borrowing or selling properties to keep up the chase. But to me, it is not worth it. Well, I don't expect otherwise from a gambler who wants to get rich through gambling. My advise for such gambler is that gamble with ease and you will win when you least expect.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International break's in football. on: March 25, 2024, 08:52:30 PM
I would like to say that I would provide the right conditions for my child to choose a team of his/her own free will, but to be honest I would like to influence him/her to support my team.😅 My father did everything to make me support his team. When I was a child he bought me his team's jersey and took me to his team's games, but when I became a teenager I supported another team and I still support the same team today. I think parents' insistence on this does not always give the results they want. I think people like me are in the majority.

I don't see your dad's action as a means of luring you into supporting his team. You were tender and the fact that he needs to carry you around is a reason he bought you jersey and carried you to watch the games of the team he supports. To me, that's a show of fatherly love and care. Imagine it this way, that you dad was always keeping you at home and then go out to watch his team play, how would you feel? Well, I will cry and feel neglected. So what he was doing is to make.you have a sense of belonging. Also, when I was a kid, my parents carried me to church, does that mean they were trying to impose the church on me? No. At that age, I don't have that consciousness to take decisions. This is similar to your dad's action.

I agree with you that parents insistence don't always play out as desired. When a child gets to a consent age, he decides what suits him and this most times is different from what his parents wished for. The reason is simple. Every human thinks differently and so acts differently. This is why most times our decision is not in line with that of our parents.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 25, 2024, 08:42:29 PM
Young players such as Yamal, Gavi and Pedri are a great advantage for Barcelona, which has a bad financial situation. If they sell them at the right prices, the club can become economically stronger. In addition, quality football players are constantly emerging from the infrastructure and by selling them, the club can earn additional income. Yamal is a good player, but I think it would be better for Barça if he brings a big transfer to the team.
There are important players that will be having good connection with the team's president and coach, such players will have lengthy years in the team and also selected in the best XI. Barcelona have quite vast numbers of talented players. Barcelona president, Joan Laporta will always show his concern for his team. He's not expressing moves to sell his promising young players, rather he will choose to stay calm and execute good budgets for Barcelona.

Barcelona players will be very tactical when they have Xavi Hernandez as headcoach, he's this type of coach that will not welcome the poor results because he's experienced and prominent for the team. Yamal Lamine, Pedri and Gavi have been the main players that have been strengthening the team's performance, always pushing forward for the good results, this is precisely the time for Barcelona to hold tightly on their players.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Becomes of Gambling if Sport book is taken away. on: March 25, 2024, 08:42:20 PM
If sports bookies are banned then a lot of people will stop gambling. Majority of gamblers are into sports betting and banning sports betting means that majority of the gamblers will be affected. Sports betting is the only betting that involves real humans and so it has attracted more sports enthusiast. When you have interest in a particular sport, the next thought is how to make money from the sport by betting on the sport since you have reserved knowledge of the sport. The only reason why I picked interest in football betting is because I watch football.

In my mind's eye, I have visualized the number of persons who are seen in a betting shop daily placing games on different sports. In some neighborhood, casinos are not popular compared to sports betting and so imagine what will become of sports bookies of it is banned. Such bookies will lose income drastically.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 25, 2024, 08:35:49 PM
Manchester City's first UEFA Champions League final was against Chelsea, and they lost to Chelsea. Last season, Manchester City was better than Real Madrid, which made Manchester City easily beat Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. Manchester City will find it difficult to win against Real Madrid in this season's UEFA Champions League because Real Madrid is more consistent than Manchester City this season.
This season is for the club that are determined and keen on winning, and not for random matches. This UCL fixture comes with impressive expressions, this is a crucial game. Real Madrid vs Manchester City, who's winning? Prior to my opinion, Manchester City will not hold back and also Real Madrid will be aiming for streak winnings.

The UEFA Champions League are mainly for top clubs, the promising clubs are for winning and the mediocre team will fall behind the main points that's supposed to be accumulated. Manchester City is elite team and they don't easily give up when it comes to top runs in the system. Pep Guardiola will always give hope for his team, never stop from putting his best to enable triumphant records and heading straight to major finals.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: March 25, 2024, 08:21:09 PM
But from the application that occurs sometimes we also see a lot of poor people even risking all the money they have even though it is relatively low when compared to those who are rich but still it is still very large for those who are poor because it risks all their money quite boldly.
In fact, there are not a few poor people who do that so when talking about the actual risk it is actually greater for those who are poor than rich.

Because for the rich those who do lose money in a slightly larger amount they must know that they still have a remainder that cannot be calculated when losing a large amount in gambling but it will be different if it is a poor person so in this case it is actually important to look from another aspect not only depending on the amount of bets shown but in terms of risk management that is owned.

You are right. Whether an amount is large or not depends on the income of the gambler. The measurement for what a gambler can afford to lose is dependent on the income of the gambler. What gambler "A" will use for gambling might be seen as small compared to gambler "B" even if it is the same amount. To gambler "B" it might be seen as gambling above his means since such amount might be above 50% of his income. I think whether rich or poor, the risk is the same. Gambling is a game of risk and so every gambler have a risk to shoulder. Ordinary, a rich man is expected to bear more risk but this is not always the case.

The poor have flooded the gambling scene and since they hope to make money from gambling they are always trapped in the fantasy of making millions and escaping from poverty. This selfish mentality account for the reason poor people are know for taking uncalculated risk. Imagine a poor man having $20 and then gambling with $15. This is always the case with most poor gamblers and this is not a responsible way to gamble.

Someone sent me this link. Had this board ignored.

I'm not sure what else to say; I've stopped using Quilbot and Grammarly to correct my wording and sentences, and all of my posts are topic-related. I respond to the post I quoted, without a doubt. I've never seen any of my football-related posts got in this AI mess.

Have you guys ever bothered reading the post I quoted/replied to? Are my responses not in any way related?

There is an IT person on the stake campaign who runs our posts on certain AI softwares, and so far my postings have met the requirements. I don't use AI, the few percentage found in my history were as a result of some of the AI powdered tools ( quilbot and Grammarly) I used.

I will focus on only football discussion because I'm becoming a merit grabbing topics now. Most of my gambling posts carries my real life experience I didn't know AI could do that too..

Having my post deleted as spam is normal but tagging the report as AI report  for cheap score is wrong. I'm not lazy and I'm not using AI bot. I don't know how those tools works. Standing alone on something you didn't commit is so hard man.

Mixed of AI and Human report doesn't make any sense to me. Writing first paragraph with human and second paragraph with AI ? That's too much work for anyone. My first paragraphs are okay to make a good post, the second paragraphs are personal or general opinion. ( Little attachment)
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dana thought he lost $80k one night and his advice for gamblers on: March 25, 2024, 07:16:52 PM
Of course, there are only two possibilities in gambling. You either win or you lose. Having this at the back of your mind as a gambler is important as a gambler. Most gamblers only look at the possibilities of winning and becoming rich and then neglecting that gambling is not a bed of roses. Gamblers with this mindset easily get addicted because even when it is clear that gambling is taking so much from them they still live in the fantasy that they will win millions and so they keep pushing without setting budgets for themselves. When a gambler fails to set limit and stick to it, he wil have financial ruin and instead of getting richer as he desires, he will continue to lose profits.

The interview revealed that even the rich lose heavily more than the poor but they don't get so much worried simply because they gamble for fun and not to make more money. The amount lost as revealed might be huge for a common man but that is probably what he can afford to lose. This tells us that staking with what you can lose can be relative depending on the income of the gambler. Don't copy another gambler or try to gamble the same way he is gambling because your income might be different and so following him might lead to creating problems for yourself.
