As you said the first few days to a week you are likely to get a small return with these but after that your money will run with the admin. OP good to give heads up to people. |

Sorry to hear about your issue with them but I have to add they are my most trusted exchange for alts, bittrex not that far behind. With poloniex your funds are safe they do seem to have problems with depositing and withdrawing some coins but you know your funds are safe. I notice the first time I had a problem I wrote multiple messages threw frustration and that was the longest they have ever took. It will get sorted soon enough, probably already is?
They might be safer than other exchanges out there but it's a bit of a stretch to say that funds kept with them are guaranteed to be safe. Many exchanges can and have been hacked in the past, and Poloniex isn't immune to this. The only true safe solution to storing funds IMO is keeping your coins locally on your computer (and preferably in cold storage) or in the form of paper wallets. Exchanges are more or less a necessary evil though. Despite being a generally unsafe place to store your funds, they are necessary for exchanging between coins. By setting up deposits and withdrawals immediately before and after trading and not keeping your coins stored there for any longer than necessary, you can reduce (but not completely eliminate) your exposure to the risk of them getting hacked or running off with your funds (the second one is probably not a huge risk in Poloniex's case but it's definitely a major problem with shadier exchanges). Not sure where you got me guaranteeing funds being safe. I simply said your funds are safe. You know why? Because mine have for around a year some quite large deposits and withdrawals not a single satoshi lost that is safe enough in this business. If they was hacked which I doubt because they have good security practices then people will be reimbursed. Who said storing funds on an exchange? No one said storing funds on an exchange but maybe I should have added while trading your funds are safe, saying that though I probably do have a couple of bitcoins worth of alts on there but that is minor a small %, I never risk what I can't afford to lose as everyone should. As I said I trust them and I would actually trust them with 50% of my holdings if I needed to but luckily that is not needed. |

You have read scientists statistics, we have something in the region of ''75 thousand million million'' stars/suns in our universe and they reside in around 400 billion galaxies the number of planets is uncountable, We are one planet with life and how many more are there?  We are not alone that is a statistical impossibility, but... How vast is the universe we will never even get out of our one galaxy in our life time until new tech is created but we could have destroyed ourselves by then. Nasa has a world flag because they know something we don't know  The guy was right above the ''flower of life'' I don't think NASA (or any official entity) has chosen this flag to represent Earth - fortunately, because it's quite ugly. Also, do we actually need a flag? What will it distinguish us from? It's not like we've found any alien life yet, and even when/if that happens, I'm sure there will be a lot more differences than just the colors and patterns in a piece of cloth. We are approaching a new world order and planet earth needs its first flag to represent us all , apparently they have found one. No we don't need a flag though, as I said they know something we don't you will have to ask them what it will distinguish us from Well we are not aware they have found other 'alien' life yet but we are not aware of a lot they want to keep from us are we? That is the beauty of secrets and being kept in the dark in a state of ignorance it is bliss. Sure there would have been leaks if alien life had been found though? |

In my timezone he has posted 29 times in 4 hours and 30 minutes. The posting maniac with such a short time between posts he can't be being that constructive. I am not going to go threw them all to see but am sure admin/mods have and they see no problem. If you see the bitcointalk twitter he was posting on there and could not wait to get back to posting lol I don't want to call out people but there are a few in that campaign that do the same.
Well i hate it when people say that thing, that you cant be constructive if you post a lot, why not? If you have something to say you can be constructive in all your posts, specially if you are replying to something that you have good knowledge of, like altcoins and mining in this case, seems. You might hate it but do you think I care? The thing is if I go from posting here to another thread and post on there within 2minutes do you think I have time to read threw the OP then make my 'constructive' post within the couple of minutes? lol. Get real dude you need at least 5-10minutes between most posts to add something to the discussion. So there is your reason. |

OP if I was you I would accept this offer and don't look back, your 3btc valuation is fairytale. i think your the one whos bumping your post count  my bid is real assuming the trust rating is accurate and we use escrow Maybe the bump post was wrong but so are you lol. I am more curious why someone would pay so much over the average 50-100% for a bit of trust hmmm. I would imagine it is real an accurate that is why he said it but you never know ask escrow to check obviously. Also make sure you get a signed message from an unedited post if you deal because this come up after the hack. EDIT: for the post below.. I brought a high quality one the other week with signed message for 0.6btc add 50% that is 0.9btc and 100% to 0.6btc and what do you get? 1.2btc. To add I am not the only one who has paid the amount for them this is what the market is choosing not me or anyone else. I wonder when will we have a Solar System Flag or Milky Way Flag.. LoL! The few times I have needed escrow takes hours to find one online or who replies in time for the deal to continue. I will be honest out of a few of them I have had to start the trade without because of the waiting around and just do the trade in smaller parts, always has worked out but we need more trusted escrow services or projects like BitHalo smartcontracting to be used more.

While I don't really like any of them to be honest, if I had to choose then I will be choosing Dash/Darkcoin that is where my vote goes but while keeping bitcoin because hell no do we need the instamine to deal with just for a faster smoother transacttion time. Saying that I really don't see a need as bitcoin/blockchain are fine.

You miss the point, as the account had a scammer tag the default members will check recent posts and as soon as an address is found try and link it. "add the address everywhere" was of course hypothetical and to open the mind how easy that would be. The trust system is screwed up. So to sum it up any scammer can post a legit member of the forums address and it is very likely that the legit member will have to deal with this and deal with an account worked on for 123 years ruined in red because how do you prove it? Isn't that a wonderful place |
