If you guys do not know how to solomine then you should not have waited till launch to try to figure it out. You could have experimented and figured out how to set it up on any other coin. I understand the frustrations but, SHEESH. It does suck that the pool is not open, we all would benefit from that, and there is not really an excuse, but hey, life ain't fair.  Are you serious? Who's talking about settings? We're talking about scammers devs and scamcoin using solominers as a confirmations for their instamining blocks! They SUCK! BIG! Maybe life ain't fair as you say but the community must stay healthy. We'll continue this on Cryptsy ticket, you bet! |

I'll ask crypto-trade.com exchange not to list this coin, because the devs will just dump the instamine and premine at us.
lets take it a step further and have the mods lock this damn thread and toss it into the alt coin hell that it belongs [/quot BOYCOTT this scumcoin! The devs are instamining using solominers for cofirming their blocks. Get out of solomining NOW! BTW anyone read their miner's and wallet code? I am off to serious Gridcoin (more difficult but legit). |

Why are you all freaking out? I have had zero problems solo mining once I got everything configured properly.
I suggest that you all learn how to properly set up your system to solo mine so you don't have to rely on pools during a coin launch.
There shouldn't even BE any pools for at least a few hours into a coin launch. They cause inevitable forks and ACTUALLY kill coins.
PROTIP: THE OP SOLO MINING INSTRUCTIONS WERE INCORRECT
What was incorrect? The .conf file was missing a required parameter and he didn't instruct how to set up your wallet as a server so you can actually mine to it. Any mining you do to a wallet that's not set up properly will get orphaned. scrypt mining is always the same setup. Don't assume OP knows what they're doing. C'mon guys, we do this every day. server=1 was written both on the first post and in the zipped .conf. |

Give us your ping to the nodes plz because I too have configured my miner properly but every block I mined turned up orphaned. |

all of a sudden pool ops and devs are quiet....SAY SOMETHING YOU SCAMMERS....lazy coding kiddies with no clue how things work...
It's so tiresome reading criticism from people whose coding experience can be summed up with an HTML class in high school. If you could do better, you would have programmed a super-successful coin and sitting on your premine, instead of throwing your "opinions" around like a monkey at the zoo. When something, service or good is addressed to the public then the public has the right to speak up his opinion. Devs and coin marketeers have to tolerate criticism in every way it comes. My opinion. |
